"This hotel is rated a 4 star hotel and at best it is a 2.5 or 3 star hotel. I decided to book this hotel direct after seeing very high reviews on it. However the website site is quite deceiving because there are 2 Hotel Forte’s in Vieste almost side by side. One is new and the other (where we stayed) is like stepping back into the 1970’s. The reception staff seemed quite helpful when we arrived with parking and directions but when asked about the town centre we were told that it is a very small town and not a lot of shops. We walked into town about 23 mins and it was amazing with lots of little lane ways and shops and restaurants. The views in the town are amazing. The walk in is long but on a slow incline. In the town there are lots of stairs but also ways around them. Back to the hotel. Parking easy just across the street in an open public car park. Two lifts in the hotel (one strictly for staff) the other for the guests which was very slow. The breakfast area was large and you were allocated a table where you had to stay for the rest of your stay at the hotel. The Breakfast offer was ok but the room and area was a little grotty. The bar was open from early in the pool area but you couldn’t get a red wine. Even after the pool bar closed and the inside bar opened you couldn’t get a bottle of wine to take back to the room only a glass. We ended up going to supermarket and buying one. We asked for 2 glasses and got plastic cheap plastic glasses. The best thing about this hotel was the balcony with sea views but trying to get have a wine on the balcony was a little difficult as there was no room service at all but there was a bar and a restaurant. I asked about the laundry service and was told there was one in town. We had breakfast at the hotel once and then went across the car park to the Beach Bar La Bussola which had great coffee and food. All in all our worst stay in Italy outside of Rome. Don’t stay there."

"Very disappointing. It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful area, but that’s where the beauty ended. We were there near the end of the season (mid October) and were only one of three people staying. We must’ve been stuck in the worst “rustic cabin”! Cracked walls, no soap in dispensers, broken shower. Then came dinner in the restaurant. Worst meal I’ve ever had in Italy! All deep fried. Felt like we were an inconvenience to the 2 people I saw there. Their wine was just ok."

"El hotel de la familia se refrescaba después de 2 grandes hoteles de cadena inpersonal. El personal estaba bienvenido y útil. Teníamos una habitación limpia y moderna donde todo funcionó como debería y teníamos una gran caminata en la ducha. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no se puede esperar que el servicio de cenas sea un poco inpersonal, pero nos encontramos en un gran grupo y había varios grupos de este tipo para servir, por lo que es bastante comprensible que quieran seguir trabajando. El hotel tiene 2 tablas circulares para los antipastos y las cargas de comida en ellos, pero asegúrese de visitar a los dos por la mayor variedad. Los ascensores se ahogaron un poco cuando llegó una carga de autobús, por lo que era mejor evitarlos en ese momento."

"We have stayed for 4 days in this beautiful B&B. We start from the fantastic location, in the historic center of Vieste and from there you can access any area of the country. The structure is a wonderful, renovated, perfectly organized and with a panoramic terrace from which you see all the Vieste and where we were cocktailed by the precious and nice Michela with a variety of breakfast and very good and with care The room is a clean, elegant, functional and ordered bathroom, just like a bathroom with a shower worthy of a SPA. Fully soundless windows, once closed, you don't feel absolutely anything!!! A note of Martino that welcomed us and advised us, with a gentle and unique care and other praises to the girls of cleaning, always gentle, smile and careful to the needs of the clients. Of course, from now on, it will always be our reference point to Vieste."

Its location is ideal—situated just outside the bustling center, offering a peaceful retreat away from the crowds while still being incredibly accessible. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. The owners and staff are remarkably friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They were always ready with great local tips, and whenever we had a question or a minor issue, they resolved it swiftly and effortlessly. Everything about our stay was smooth and seamless. An extra highlight you absolutely cannot miss is their wine cellar. It is beautifully designed, brilliantly run, and adds a unique, high-quality touch to the entire experience. Overall, a flawless stay and we will definitely be back. A well-deserved 5/5"

"This is a great place to stay. The villas are comfortable and have kitchens with enough utensils and dishes that you can cook your own meals if you desire. The staff is friendly and welcoming the restaurant is very good and reasonable. It is a great place for families as there are many activities for kids. It is also very easy to drive into Vieste and other places in the Gargano. Rapheal and Lorenzo made us feel at home we really enjoyed our stay here."

"The second time at the Mareblu, I repeat what I wrote last year.The wonderful village in the olive-spots,beautiful and well-treated swimming pools, perfect cleaning in the apartments and common spaces. Personnel always available and very careful to any request. 1 km from the sea. We had the N 26 accommodation at the top of the hill, very large, well clean and with a huge terrace.The village has a ship always available to arrive to the apartments. Thanks to all staff. Very clean, comfortable and quiet with air conditioning for those warm evenings. An amazing rooftop terrace where one can enjoy a cocktail before dining in the town. "Experiencia horrible, si no es horrible. El primer día salíamos dejando el condicionador encendido por el calor porque las puertas están expuestas al sol y hace un calor infernal Al regresar encontramos el condicionador de tiendas bloqueado , lo habían desconectado . Después de pedir explicaciones nos responden que el condicionador debe ser usado como si estuviéramos en nuestra casa así que se desactivó cuando se sale . Indecible !!! Vergonzoso es decir poco, nos dejaron morir de calor durante los demás días diciendo que estaba rota."
