Este hotel es el hotel más detallado en el que me he alojado en Canadá. La ubicación es en la calle peatonal, la decoración es exquisita, el baño está lleno de L'Occitane y ¡hay dos pares de zapatillas! Amado, el café también es una muy buena marca. La próxima vez que vaya a Victoria, nunca miraré otros hoteles. El elogio de cinco estrellas definitivamente es digno de él.

We stayed here for three nights and had a varied experience. Check-in was swift and we were soon on our way to our room, we emptied our suitcases and went to pour a drink, this was when we discovered a half eaten burger in the refrigerator and a glass that looked like it had been dropped in a muddy puddle! In fairness to the hotel the staff were equally horrified and very apologetic. We were offered a room change and next day received a card and a bottle of champagne from the hotel as a further apology. We used the gym in the hotel, which is slightly odd in that it has a carpeted floor and no mats available for doing sit-ups etc. One of the lifts was out of action for a refurb (although there was no evidence of any work going on during our stay) one of the other lifts was frequently out of order, leaving just one in action and lengthy delays waiting to go up or down. We didn’t use the hotel car park, you can use one of the nearby underground parking lots or there are spaces on the road adjacent to to the hotel for half the cost of the hotel parking. It’s a great hotel in a good location, just the poor attention to detail and noisy guests let it down.

We stayed in the Laurel wing of the hotel in a ”partial” harbour view room with a standing balcony. Although 2 small chairs could be put on the balcony to make it more user friendly there is no patio furniture. The view was very nice & the room was clean. However, the laurel wing is certainly looking it's age. Worn & damaged baseboards in the hallways, worn carpet & the decor & furniture in the rooms are outdated. Some maintenance of the lighting & drains were needed. Shower/tub was small, cramped & dark. There is a small mini fridge & a Nespresso maker (for very small cups of coffee) but no microwave. The room was supposed to have a kettle but we had to ask for one as none was in the room. Our bed was comfortable. Housekeeping is only every 2 days & we were told that when we checked in. We didn't ask for an adjoining room & weren't told we had one. We don't care for these types of rooms due to noise. And noise there was. Lots of noise. Kids running in the hallways like it was a race track, people talking loudly, slamming doors, etc. If we wanted a slightly better room with more of a harbour view or a balcony with furniture we would have had to pay substantially more money. Everything seemed to be an additional cost at this hotel. Only water from a dispenser was free. Even a piece of fruit had a cost. The restaurant looked very nice & there is a wonderful patio area attached to it. However, prices were outrageous which prevented us from eating there. A small burger with no side was $20. There is no coffee shop to get a take out coffee or small meal. There are a few food & drink items at a kiosk by the desk that you pay for. There is a pathway that you can walk to Fisherman's Wharf & also to the downtown. Both were wonderful to walk on. It is a short walk to downtown as the hotel is outside of the main part. The staff were friendly & helpful. However we were told nothing about the amenities of the hotel when we checked in such as how to connect to wifi, where the pool was, that there is a sitting area outside the conference rooms, etc. It was on our bucket list to stay at this hotel for years. We finally took a big breath & decided to pay the price which in my opinion is too high for what you get. Because of that, regretfully we won't likely return.

La tarifa también incluye el desayuno, y el estacionamiento, que es un gran bonus! La habitación es un poco fechada, podríamos tener un nuevo tapete para asegurarnos. En general nos alegramos muy de nuestra estadía.

Un área muy a pie y un hotel que volveremos a visitar en el futuro.

¡Definitivamente mi lugar favorito para permanecer en Victoria! Todas las toques especiales que hacen son muy apreciadas! Las cookies frescas cocidas y una nota escrita a mano en la cama!

El hotel está situado en el borde del barrio, pero a pocos pasos del centro de la ciudad. Mi unidad es un pequeño apartamento, con cocina completa a lo largo de la calle. La sala de cena/siento tiene un escritorio y 3 sillas, sofá y TV. La habitación tiene una cama de tamaño rey. No hay salida USB. Toda la unidad se renova nuevamente, excepto la ducha. La ventilación en el baño no es buena. Las ventanas no han sido actualizadas por lo que no puede cerrar estrechamente y oír algún ruido de tráfico. La vista de la habitación es estacionamiento mucho y casa de edad avanzada. Su coche puede parar en la parte delantera para su inscripción, el estacionamiento es $10/day en la parte trasera. El número de parques de estacionamiento es limitado.

I'll start with the good..... free parking, hot water, power shower, daily fresh towels & coffee, iron & ironing board, good staff, microwave, kettle, Keurig, fridge. Our room was OK. However, there is no elevator. The bed creaked every time you moved, the springs were noisy & when one rolled over, the other followed suit, you both rolled together it needs a new mattress & base. The pillows were lumpy and had no substance to them even when you used two. The curtains were threadbare & paint peeling off the walls. No safe in the room. Storage & hangers are minimal. Black grout in between the tiles on the floor (needs a scrub with some grout cleaner). This doesn’t mean it wasn't cleaned as there was no hair in the sink or bath from previous occupants that we saw room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The sink was not in the bathroom but in the bedroom. Pool & sauna.....pool was warm, but it needs a clean - there were live bugs in the pool we were in it approximately 10 minutes before we got out as we were grosses out, you could not see the bottom it was cloudy. The saunas are separate, one male & one female with change room facilities we didn't use them we also didn't use the fitness room. Access to the pool/sauna/fitness room, you have to go outside, walk the path , and then re-enter the building. The on-site dining....The Loft great staff with good pub food salt n pepper pork bites were very the kitchen staff worked very hard. Live music most nights but not disturbed by it. The Coachman, we had 1 breakfast there, and it wasn't great. Apparently, the chef was Grumpy that day .... maybe that's why it wasn't great? Waitress was great. All in all staff, were great, shower was powerful & hot, bed was not comfy we won't stay here again when we visit next.

Muy bien. Limpia y agradable en las habitaciones. Nice ducha con champú de escala, etc. Sólo la cuestión era que teníamos gente ruidosa en nuestro piso. No saben cómo cerrar las puertas tranquilamente después de 1 a.m. Las puertas tienden a lanzar. Adil, el personal del frente de escritorio era muy agradable. The hotel in general was alright. Nothing too special or fancy. There was a good restaurant at the base called Bin 4. What makes this hotel not great is that from the time that we were there (3 nights), 4 car windows were smashed and broken into including our own car. There was nothing in the vehicle. It seemed just to happen for the purpose of breaking something. The worst part is the day if we had to do a 7 hour drive home taking the ferry and the Coquihalla. The hotel says there is 24/7 security and people at the hotel which just doesn’t make sense for so many vehicles being broken into. Of course the hotel isn’t ‘responsible’. May not be the place you want to stay and certainly don’t leave anything in your car.
