Great location. Was cold in Venice so would have liked to turn the temperature up in the room but couldnt as it was limited. Otherwise, room was spotless.

Lovely large comfortable room with a bathroom, private kitchen and dining area overlooking a small canal. The kitchen was well equipped for small a meal preparation and fresh coffee. Fantastic location. A few minutes from San Marco Square with transport hubs. From the airport the easiest and most efficient method of transport is a water bus. We arrived via the train station which was a difficult walk to the hotel.The hotel was very clean and in a peaceful location. We were contacted ahead of arrival by Gina (hostess). Would definitely stay here again.

The location is great, and we got there from the boat (with the baggage) without going over any bridge. They also kept our baggage after check-out time, but the room was very small (superior double or twin room) - not nearly as big or bright as the pictures. Inside the room, there was a connecting door to another room. There were a few stairs after the elevator, but I think it's a miracle that they managed to put in an elevator into this old building. The reception open till 17:00. We didn't find any common area - like a lobby. Unfortunately, we did find small hairs in the bidet - really disgusting. We didn't use the bidet, but that told us about the level of cleaning.

We stayed at this hotel in May. Room is very basic but ok. Biggest flaw is the noise and then follow up communication. We made a complaint at 2am in the morning and as no reception desk and an email was sent directly to the hotel at this time as this was the only means of communication. We received no response from the hotel for the duration of our stay and noise continued all of the second night as walls are paper thin. Contacted ******* to complain but still no response/apology from the hotel and refund claim rejected Do not stay here as there is no communication from the hotel so any issues will not be dealt with.

The staff were so helpful, the check-in was hard though. Had very little information but once we found a worker there she was great. Our room was nice, the walls were thin though. For a 2 star hotel, it was nice. It came with complimentary items in the bathroom, hot water. There were a lot of mosquitos, again that’s Venice, but we kept our windows shut and weren’t sure how they were getting in. Good location too. But all in all, enjoyed it.

Nothing major wrong with the place. Large, a bit dated and dark, not as nice as the pictures but no big problems. Good heat and hot water. Quiet neighborhood. Big issue was the gate in front has a key pad or electronic card to get in. They didn’t give us a code, only an electronic fob to wave in front to unlock. Several times coming home it didn’t work and we couldn’t get into the building. The office is there but after initial Check-In we never saw anyone staffing the office. We tried knocking and calling both numbers posted but no one ever picked up, so we were stuck. Thankfully someone else was coming home and let us in. However the last night it was very cold and we were stuck for over an hour outside. They didn’t answer the phone, we texted ******* and they tried to contact the host with no response. Finally ******* said we should find somewhere to stay for the night, even though our luggage was stuck inside the place. ******* said they wanted to request a refund from the host for the last night in our behalf, but also said the host would not likely ever respond or repay anything, and they were right. Finally the host answered a message through the ******* app with a code number to get in, no explanation or apology. Overall, not a terrible apartment, we wouldn’t stay again. It’s uncomfortable to walk around the city knowing that when you get home you might not be able to get in, no one is in the office or answers the phone.
