The cafe is nicely situated by the lake and they have lovely cakes. BUT! In case you are allergic, there is absolutely nothing. Even the "Budapest bakelse" generally known as gluten free in Sweden contains wheat! And the staff was not very understanding either. This made me very disappointed hence the below average rate Something to work on... Apart from this the cafe is nice.

3 star accommodation with friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast restaurant. Room in the ”Sjölunden” building wih small terrace and partly lake view. Quite functional room but could be better. Needs refurbishment and maintenance, in particular the outdoor furniture. Cleaning mediocre: Terrace dirty and smell from shower sink in bathroom. The breakfast restaurant, however, adds the 4th star. Charming and atmospheric old building, very good breakfast buffet with bread from the bakery next door. The old house offers excellent lushness on the balcony and direct views to park and lake.

Probably one of the best bargains we had in Sweden. Nice view of the lake, large room, mini-refrigerator, free parking near the room, good TV and wi-fi reception. Only complaint was that reception was difficult to find and had to check the take out restaurant to find out the reception area was somewhere else. Otherwise I highly recommend.

This hotel is a gem, especially the surroundings. It is located at a beautiful lake and the view is fantastic. The bakery has a cozy café with a great terrace and garden. The rooms are not to big, but they are clean and cute and there's a fridge/minibar, terrace with chairs and a table and a bathroom with a window. Breakfast is just about perfect; the room is located in Villa Vik, a stunning mansion in the park next to the hotel and they offer a broad buffet. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Super netter und zuvorkommender Service. Sehr leckere Kuchenspezialitäten, die in der eigenen Konditorei hergestellt werden. Und dazu noch einen sensationeller Blick auf den See. Das hat uns so begeistert, das wir Ende März nochmal hierher kommen wollen.

Nu börjar det tyvärr kännas lite slitet här och var. Kaffefläckar på väggen under skrivbordet, kalkavlagringar i duschen, i badrummet är viss utrustning ranglig, samt knäppande från en av sängarna när man rör sig.
Frukosten är fortfarande fantastisk med gott bröd, pålägg, fin juice och även en fantastisk miljö och utsikt !!
