Sin embargo, la ubicación es mucho más tranquila y con un ambiente relajado. El hotel está justo en la playa con suficientes camas de sol para todos. La piscina con dos esquís de agua es lo suficientemente grande y justo al lado del bar de playa con bebidas y snacks de todo el día. Nuestro cuarto estaba situado en el segundo piso, por lo que no hay ascensores. Para una familia de 4, el tamaño de la habitación es suficiente. A la hora de la recepción, el hotel está encantado de estar en el centro de la ciudad, y el hotel está muy bien situado. No todos los días como se mencionaba aquí antes."

The neighborhood is quiet, there are shops and bars, unfortunately in bars you pay in cash. The beach is close, you can get to the center by bus almost from the hotel about 20-30 minutes. "The room itself was decent and relatively clean – that's the only positive thing I can say about Marina Grand Hotel. The food, however, was extremely poor in both quality and variety. Tasteless, repetitive, and clearly not prepared with any attention to freshness or guests’ expectations. For a hotel claiming to be high-end, this is simply unacceptable. But the worst part by far was the disgraceful attitude of the pool staff. Arrogant, rude, and completely unprofessional. When I politely asked why they were closing the pool area before the advertised time (6:00 PM), I was met with blatant disrespect, mockery, and even insults. I was sworn at for daring to question their schedule. I have never experienced such unacceptable behavior in any hotel – anywhere. This place does not deserve the stars it claims to have. The management clearly has no control over its staff, and guest experience is treated as an afterthought. I strongly advise avoiding this hotel. You risk ruining your vacation."

"We had our international wedding organised in a hotel close by but all our guests stayed in Umani. We also organised our Welcome dinner at Umani. I couldn't praise the manager Rositsa more- from start to finish, she made our whole experience easy. The dinner that the staff at Umani organised for our guests was exactly what we wanted- Authentic bulgarian dishes, that even our bulgarian guests said it felt like home. The staff made sure all our guests had pleasant experience and they were very well attended to. What sets Umani apart from other hotels is their staff and how they treat the guests. Even our housekeeper was the loveliest lady, who would tidy up our toddler's toys every day! 10/10 and would strongly recommend staying at Umani if you are looking for outstanding and personable service."

"Aquí estaba yo antes y tuve un buen tiempo, así que decidí volver. Aunque estaba sola, no me sentía solo, todos estaban muy bienvenidos y siempre tuve alguien con quien puedo hablar. La comida de la casa de la habitación es muy buena, pero no es muy fácil. En la costa búlgara, en la zona de la ciudad, hay una piscina mineral y un centro de spa, que es también fantástico. "Estuvimos con mi novio y dos amigos hace un par de semanas y la verdad es que nos fuimos encantados con el Melia Grand Hermitage. La habitación era amplia, limpia, muy acogedora, con una cama grande y súper cómoda. Todo el personal fue siempre amable y atento — desde la recepción (rápidas, simpáticas y con buena predisposición), hasta los chicos del restaurante que te recibían con una sonrisa cada día. Una persona que me gustaría mencionar es a Nina (Quality manager) quien vino a nosotros cuando uno de nuestros amigos tuvo un incidente muy pequeño durante nuestra estadía y ella enseguida nos sugirió que hacer para solucionarlo. Funcionó de maravilla! Estamos muy agradecidos con ella! Tuvimos la oportunidad de probar tanto el restaurante italiano como el búlgaro y ambos fueron una experiencia deliciosa. Se sentía el verdadero sabor de cada cocina, ¡nos encantó! También queremos destacar al equipo de animación — siempre llenos de energía, simpáticos, y saludando cada vez que nos cruzábamos con ellos - Esos pequeños gestos marcan la diferencia! Victoria y Eva las dos llenas de energía y divertidas, Rali y Poli muy amables y amigables, los chicos Cesto, Bobby, Ivo y Oldjay muy comunicativos y simpáticos. Y obvio Stenly, el manager del equipo de animación, fue tan agradable y siempre estuvo ahí para ayudarnos con todas nuestras dudas. Y super buena compañía! Sin duda, un lugar al que volveríamos. ¡Gracias por una estadía tan linda!"

The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach, and having complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas on the hotel’s private beach was a huge advantage that made our vacation even more relaxing. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered plenty of variety every day. The entire hotel was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. The biggest highlight was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel truly valued as guests. We highly recommend Palm Beach Hotel to couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday by the sea. Thank you to the whole team for the wonderful hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!"

"Horrible experience! Been there for 5 days, in room 805. None did clean the room for ourselves, they only changed the towels and the bin from the bathroom. Bad parking management, if you park behind the or in the front, there is the chance that your car can be blocked. The parking it's 15 euros per day. The food it's not variable, the deserts are very bad and they have a very bad taste. None it's smiling to you or they speak nicely to you. It's seems that the staff have issues as well. As per total experience, I don't recomand to anyone, it's shouldn't have 4 stars... In the fridge you have only a bottle of water, no more, no less. Regarding noise, be prepared to not sleep that well, are some bars opened till morning (like 3,4 in the morning), so better get some earpods. Atmosphere it's kinda so and so, you don't animations for kids or something. The exterior pool doesn't have heated water. As value, as I said, doesn't have to have 4 stars... They have to improve many things there, but I don't really know if they care about people.."

"We booked this hotel because it was one of the top-rated in Golden Sands, and we read that the food here was supposed to be really good. We just arrived 60 minutes ago, or rather, we were allowed to check in and use the facilities an hour ago. We arrived at 12:00, with five excited children. One of them was a bit sick. We expected that we could simply store our luggage and use the facilities (pool, snack bar, etc.). That was absolutely not an option. We had to wait in the lobby, and if we were hungry or thirsty, we could buy lunch in the restaurant or drinks at the bar… We were NOT allowed to go down to the pool and wait for our room to be ready. In general, the tone is quite unpleasant and inhospitable. No service. No smiles. Just a feeling of being a burden. Too bad—especially for our kids who could hardly wait to swim. We took a walk around the area and got something to eat. When we returned, our child's condition had worsened, and we were seriously considering seeking medical attention—but fortunately, he got better. Even then, it was not possible to get our room or something to drink for him. We finally got to our rooms, which are very nice. No complaints there. But the overall impression of the hotel is VERY worn and very old. At most, 2 stars. We went to get pool towels, only to find out that they were closed and wouldn’t open for another 45 minutes. So we went to the snack bar. The pizzas were fine, but the fries tasted like they were from the day before. There was a small room with cakes, which I do not recommend entering. The cakes were INEDIBLE and extremely salty. When we went to order drinks, perhaps the biggest “game changer” of all came. It is NOT possible to order light/diet drinks with our All-Inclusive package. We were told we could pay for them at the main bar… We did NOT see that coming. We have traveled A LOT and stayed at many All-Inclusive hotels in many countries—this we have never experienced. Are we not in 2024? And what about people with diabetes? We got some water and a drink. The drink was undrinkable, and the water tasted like chlorine and salt… When we finally got to the pool, the kids were happy. However, the lifeguard was sitting quite unmotivated, blowing his whistle, and looking at his phone… All in all, a very disappointing start. We have never complained before or written a bad review, even when we have been dissatisfied. But unfortunately, this just surpasses everything we have experienced—and all in just a few hours… What a disappointment!"

"We stayed here at the end of September for 5 nights. The hotel was quiet due to it being the end of their season which meant a lot of the local shops, bars and restaurants has closed (no fault of the hotel, we didn’t do our research and assumed the season would continue into October - something to be mindful of if you’re booking in 2024). The food and spa were the highlights of our holiday. The spa staff were super friendly and helpful and we made sure to make use of the facilities and treatments on offer. Would recommend the Turkish bath, it was incredible! The price of the treatments were so cheap compared to the U.K. you can pay cash or card which is handy too. The food was so flavoursome and we had something different each night. If you’re a fussy eater or expecting 20+ difference choices this isn’t the place for you. There was enough choices but each dish was delicious and the cakes were little mouthfuls of heaven. Overall the hotel was very modern and clean and is in a great location to walk to the beach. Even with it being quiet we felt extremely safe strolling around. Down by the beachfront there are some lovely shops and bars, it’s a lovely easy stroll. We took the 409 bus into Varna (approx 45 mins journey) and hired electric scooters to explore. We’d recommend wandering the garden, it’s beautiful and lots for kids to do. The staff were generally very helpful, a big shout out to Vanka (I hope that’s how you spell it) on reception who was extremely helpful in trying to sort an issue with our transfer back to the airport. Only negative experienced were the cleaners were slightly rude and staff weren’t always at the bar around the pool, we imagine this was down to it being out of season. We would definitely return to the hotel and make the most of the spa and facilities again next year. "

"Dissapointing. At first you see the potential. Then you see the grass grown between the tiles. Then you see the lack of care for the space(pool, terrace, bathrooms). And the potential is fading away. And then you meet the staff and you say" ooooo, thats why it looks so careless". And im not even talking about 5 star experience, i expect the 5 minutes and 10 euros of solution it takes to get rid of that grass even on cheap hostels. I dont know what else you are paying for: the place is poorly maintained, staffed and still demands a high price? Potential alone cant do wonders. Hard pass"
