AMBROISE - Hôtel & Restaurant

The proprietors were very friendly, the room clean and bright. Breakfast was good. The hotel overlooks the river and has a pretty garden as well as a full restaurant. Uzerche is a small, lovely walled town, with some walking trails nearby and a river for canoeing or kayaking.

Really good value, pleasant 2 star hotel, for a 1 night stay in Uzerche. Check-in and out were handled efficiently and pleasantly - the staff were all great. We had a nicely decorated (albeit small) room on the 2nd floor (stairs only), with great views. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. Nicer than I'd expect for a 2 star hotel. We also ate dinner in the restaurant, on the terrace overlooking the river - a good meal at a very good price, with excellent service. You can even use the large lawn below the hotel, by the river. And its a pleasant walk up to the old parts of town. It's very quiet at this time of year (end of May) but I understand the town will get busier as summer heats up.

We received a very warm welcome, and staff were helpful throughout our visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable. In the restaurant we had an excellent choice of freshly prepared and fine quality food and wine.

Nous n’avons pas séjourner à l’hôtel, mais nous y avons déjeuner. Produit de qualité et recherche de plats.. je recommande fortement cet établissement avec une vue sur la Vézère. Les tables sont espacées. En été la terrasse doit être agréable

Mon séjour à l'Ambroise Hotel a été des plus agréables. J'ai grandement apprécié l'hospitalité et le sens du relationnel du dirigeant. L'emplacement de l'hôtel, offrant une vue imprenable sur Uzerche, est tout simplement magnifique. Le petit déjeuner était généreux et servi avec rapidité. Les chambres étaient d'une propreté exemplaire et dotées d'un décor moderne. Le service fourni par le personnel était impeccable. Je recommande chaudement cet établissement pour un séjour des plus confortables et reposant.

Hôtel très propre, chambre et litterie confortables, salle de bains très propre etagréable. Bon Petit déjeuner dans une charmante salle de séjour avec vue sur la Vézère. Le directeur de l'hôtel est charmant et aux petits soins pour sa clientèle.
