Live Oaks Bed and Breakfast

We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights. The grounds are lovely and the room was spacious and comfortable. Upon arrival, the owners were lounging around the pool and never greeted us or even bothered to recognize that we existed. Unfortunately, the owners had a party Saturday evening and there were at least 7 kids running around the back yard and swimming pool until well after dark. In the morning it was necessary to go down to the kitchen and find the coffee to brew, brew it myself and then go out to find breakfast. Keep in mind that all of the dishes from the previous nights party were piled high in the sink. The next morning was much the same, dishes still in sink, with no contact with owners except her telling my wife that we did not have breakfast included. I had no idea that a B&B could opt us out of breakfast. Not hospitable owners and not guest oriented but nice grounds and room.

Great experience overall. Bed was very soft, clean throughout room, and beautiful view from balcony. Water pressure in shower was strong but water couldn't get down drain quick enough so it did stand a little. Easy check in/out, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated for the season.

Very cozy cabin, comfortable mattresses and great breakfast. Just with it had a full size fridge and an oven.

It was very comfortable, clean and the location was just what we needed.

Amazing place, very clean and well taken care of. Absolutely beautiful grounds. Only a mile or two from town but it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Hassle free checking in and out.

Nice owner/manager. You do not get breakfast with this property if you buy through ******* or any other third party app. The interior of our room was not very clean. We had dead spiders in our bathroom and a baby bottle just under our bed. I don’t think the floor was vacuumed prior to our arrival. Other renters came and sat right outside our patio door super early and woke us up with their loud talking. They stopped when we opened the blinds to let them know we were there. Overall, good location.

I rented the pool house/cabana. I can't say enough about what a great experience this was! It definitely has a 60's vibe, but it's comfortable and clean. The property is very serene and quiet. The staff was super responsive and friendly. This is a true bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was amazing! It was brought out to the pool house fresh from the kitchen. I'm seriously trying to find reasons to go back to Uvalde just to have the excuse to stay here again.
