YYINGGGAEl hotel cuenta con buenas instalaciones y una decoración de alta calidad. Por el precio, definitivamente vale la pena. El servicio fue excelente y la recepción me mejoró la habitación. Un pequeño detalle destacado fue el baño de pies gratuito, que fue muy relajante después de un día de caminata. Los jugos del minibar también eran gratis. El desayuno fue excelente y la estancia en general fue fantástica.

UUsuario invitadoAfter the hostel I stayed at in Kermanshah, Iran, this has definitely been the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It was clean, well-organized, and very secure, with modern facilities. The beds and mattresses were super comfortable, and the stairs to the top bunk were very convenient. Each bed had its own curtain and reading light, and every guest received a locker with a wristband, plus a small basin, towel, and toothbrush. The rooms used a key card system, so security was excellent. There was also a kettle and a desk in the room. The best part was that the receptionist spoke English and kindly gave me the best room. There’s a supermarket right next door, and it’s only about a 30-minute walk to the Grand Bazaar, one of Urumqi’s main attractions. If I return to Urumqi, I’ll definitely stay here again.

SStAnastasiaMy friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage.
Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns).
For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials.
Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

Clean, spacious ,comfortable. the room is modern and somewhat looks futuristic. even small details are designed for comfort such as mirror with extra light on it, anti-slip bathroom mat, clear label on lights switch on/off so guest know what button for what lights, automatic night light turn on when guest wake up at night to go to washroom to ensure guest can see the walking path (been travelling for 6.5months and these are items that are almost never seen even in big hotel chain).
the receptionist team are also warm and welcoming. Special thank you to Xiao Xia and Noor who help with my check in and extend my stay.
Reasonable price, even offer discount on 2nd night (different person offer different discount, so i choose the best offer.lol)
This place also close by to many eateries and 4minutes walking to bus stop where multiple buses stop there (i.e.there is bus from airport to here, i.e.take metro and change to bus. the bus will stop here).
Convenient for solo traveller who rely on public transport to explore the surrounding (download 百度 or AMAP application to see route and bus timing in real time.百度is better though).
They are also available a wechat away for any questions or recommendations that you'd like to know.
Delicious breakfast!! Still thinking about it. taste like home cooking style.
After travelling 6.5months , my tastebud miss this type of food.lol
Overall, highly recommended place!!
If I still have time (after exploring the southern part), I will definitely come back again to stay here for one final night before leaving Xinjiang.

YYakThis is an excellent hotel located in the coty centre close to many nice restaurants of various types of food to cater for the travellers of different nationalities. Very courteous, friendly and helpful staff especially those young and friendly ladies at the Front desk. Free pick up service was provided and need to be pre arranged prior to arrival. The hotel is also equipped with laundry room and gym for its hotel guests to use at no cost. The rooms are very clean come with big TV, full toiletries, kettle. Air dryer. Breakfast is good and healthy with plenty grains. |Really enjoy my stay here.

When i arrived in the middle of the night, the owner(or senior staff idk) was drinking and smoking with his friends in the commons. Whilst I was checking in with another staff member, they discussed among themselves where I could be from based on my appearance. As a young woman traveling alone, I found this moment quite unpleasant.
I had booked the 4 people's dorm. They happened to be no other guests in the dorm that night. It was nice to have the room for myself. However, the room had not been cleaned up. My bed had been made, but on the trash was some trash and laying around. The previous guests had also smoked in the room. They had left their sigarettes floating in a noodle pot and the room stinking. I asked for another room. The tipsy owner first denied the room smelled, till we stood in front of the floating sigarettes. There was no other room available, so i slept there.
By morning, the commons looked like a different hotel. There was a friendly and professional lady at the desk who checked me out. She also kept my luggage for the day, which was very convenient.
For anyone who has never been in Urumuqi before, this is not the city center. The hotel is located in a tower close to Ulumuqi train station. It's convenient if you're hoping on or off the train, but you'll need a taxi to get you to part of the city worth visiting.
Overall, I had a terrible experience, but it's probably not how most travellers would experience this hostel. And, it's quite cheap.

WWoon Chooi YEWAlex, the lady from reception was so helpful and courteous. She was all smiles and made us feel very welcome. When she found out that I was an IHG member, she offered me a bottled welcome drink,
From 6pm to 2am, the hotel offered free beef noodles and wanton soup (not sure whether this was based on room type). Food was good, but the server/cook on the night of 15 October was a nightmare. He was unhappy when we disturbed him to ask for a bowl of noodles. All he was interested in was to play on his handphone. He shouted at a guest who was trying to be helpful by returning used bowls and utensils. Honestly, he should not be working in the hospitality industry.
The hotel is located in a residential area with no restaurants or shops nearby, but it is clean and modern. Wanda mall is about 2km away. We walked there.

Sin embargo, la ubicación del hotel es excelente, a menos de diez minutos de la estación de metro y a una parada del Gran Bazar, donde hay muchísimo que ver, hacer y comer. ¡Iba allí todas las noches!
Desafortunadamente, el metro aún no llega a la estación principal de tren rápido de Urumqi (llegué desde Turpan); aunque las señales de la estación indican que la estación de metro aún no está abierta. Sin embargo, fue muy fácil llegar al aeropuerto en metro en 45 minutos.
Descubrí que la mejor manera de llegar al excelente Museo de Xinjiang es tomar el metro cuatro paradas hasta la Plaza Nanhu y, después de disfrutar del Parque del Lago Nanhu, tomar un taxi o Didi hasta el museo. Tarda 15 minutos y cuesta unos ¥20/25. El museo es gratuito y no tuve que hacer cola ni reservar la entrada con antelación.
No hay interruptor dentro de la puerta donde normalmente se coloca la tarjeta llave. No está claro cómo cortar la electricidad de la habitación al salir, a menos que se apaguen con firmeza los más de diez interruptores que hay por toda la habitación.
La cama era muy grande y cómoda, y el televisor enorme tenía todos los canales... una vez que descubres que, entre los muchos interruptores de luz a ambos lados de la cama, hay uno que dice ”TV”, ¡y sin él, ninguno de los dos mandos a distancia enciende el televisor!
La ducha era un poco anticuada, pero eficaz, aunque el agua no salía muy caliente.
El desayuno en la planta superior era un bufé chino muy bueno, aunque el café era de máquina y bastante mediocre. Una mañana, un chef preparó wantán recién hecho.
