"I booked two rooms. One room was successfully charged to my credit card, but the other was not. I contacted the hotel to explain that I was only about three hours away and asked them to hold the room so I could pay upon arrival. Unfortunately, my request was refused and one room was canceled. I then had to make a new reservation directly through the hotel’s website, which was quite disappointing. The rooms were not soundproof at all. There is no elevator, and when I asked for assistance, the reception declined immediately without offering any help. Parking is also very limited and requires an additional fee."

The room was comfortable, quiet, well appointed and our night was restful and restorative. The staff was very accommodating, provided individualized attention and was knowledgeable regarding the town and the region. Access to the hotel was easy and our car was parked right next to the hotel. Looking forward to an opportunity to return to the area and stay at La Licorne again."

"Most importantly: security issues! This morning, a strange man entered our room, as if by mistake; we don't know how he opened the door! There are no glasses, kettle, slippers, or napkins in the room. I had a cold and needed hot water for my medication. One staff member was fine; he told me to fill it up from the coffee machine. Then, another night, another staff member rushed up to me and said that water wasn't allowed and that it was only for breakfast. The breakfasts were okay, typical for a small hotel."

"We ate at the Campanile restaurant. The food was completely bland and uninspired. Everything was okay, but it wasn't what I expected from a restaurant. A trip to the supermarket and a microwave would have produced the same result. It was the most boring meal we've had in over two weeks in France. And it was overpriced. The cafeteria at our company is better! Furthermore, the staff wasn't at all interested in our feedback. In the past, we've enjoyed eating at the Campanile. Today was the last time. What a shame."
