Rooms are exactly what you'd expect and staff are more than willing to assist with any extra's you may need. Given the unpredictable nature of the weather system in the mountain, pack for all-seasons. It can go from sunny to rain and back to full sunshine in a matter of hours. The Phoenix & Fireman Bar is a treat, with plenty to drink and eat, warm and friendly staff with a few locals dropping by for a cold one or three. The coffee shop is generally open when the guest count is low, do do not expect the full dining-hall experience every evening. The same applies for breakfasts: The hotel is known for its immense breakfast spread, but is also subject to the number of guests staying. The Menu has been considerably reduced and does not offer a wide variety of choice, even compared to local eateries. Long-stay guests will quickly get tired of the menu.
