"Hoteles muy curados en los detalles en el estilo perfecto tiroles. Habitaciones espaciosas, limpias, con todo lo necesario y muchos compartimentos para deshacer las maletas. En la televisión se ve, además de muchos canales en alemán, los principales canales RAI y las webcams muy útiles que se encuentran en las relevaciones del comprensor; esto permite programar las excursiones haciendo cuentas con el tiempo real en cuota. Aparcamiento gratuito amplio justo frente al hotel. Situación muy tranquila donde a las 22 se cierra absolutamente todo, pero por lo demás, se cena de las 18:00 a las 20:30 . La zona está aislada, cerca de los centros habitados que se pueden llegar con unos minutos de coche o con el autobús que se detiene justo frente al hotel. El contenedor ofrece hermosas y panorámicas caminos de trekking. Casa de la cocina, fantástico, todo muy bueno y curado, buenos camareros. El desayuno rica para los cereales y para la sal; bastante bueno también para el dulce. Un litro de agua 5,80€, prácticamente es bueno para la cerveza, pero es normal en estos hoteles. El spa es pequeño, poco frecuente, muy bonito. Lo hemos utilizado y apreciado mucho, compuesto por un baño turco, sauna, hidromasaje, duchas experimentales y baño de agua fría de montaña. Está claro que el traje está prohibido. Así que, muy recomendado para unas vacaciones de verano relajante en Tirolo."

"En la década de 1980, me introdujo en el Alpenhof por primera vez por un amigo muy cercano, el famoso diseñador industrial alemán Ingo Maurer, que murió en 2019 (de 87 años) y fue un sentimiento inmediato de haber descubierto un santuario que durará. El Alpenhof y Hintertux demostraron desde el primer encuentro el retiro ideal para escapar a y “recargar”. Ahora que ha sido mi turno para pasar la edad de 80 años, he sucumbido a la indulgencia de volver a este feliz establecimiento de invierno y verano durante los últimos diez años. La generación más joven de la familia Dengg ahora está en el lugar con el mismo dedicado al concepto de calidad en todo el mundo: sea servicio, comida, elección de actividades centradas en la salud, etc.. todo proporcionado de la manera más natural y sin pretensiones. A pesar de mis años de progreso, no veo ninguna razón para no esperar unos pocos años más de indulgencia en la hospitalidad del lugar... y mantener el esquí, invierno y verano! Patrick Dormoy."

"On the 23rd of April 2025 I stayed at the Jakober hotel in Tux with my family and I had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel was not exactly central or close to the ski slopes in reality It was a 10 minute drive but the Hotel had very nice wiews, the hotel Is also close to a nice Trail that goes along a clean and stunning river with lots of nice places to take photos.At First I had the impression that the hotel was understaffed but then I realised that the Woman running the hotel was very polite and professional so She made made out experience even Better.The hotel also had a Ski room service which wasn't the best but It was nice and next to It there was a ping pong table and a spa which are wonderful services and I am glad that the hotel offered them.The room on the other hand wasn't as nice Because It was really old style so It was like a Little apartment with two big and comfy bedrooms with bathrooms whilst also having a kitchen; everything was clean and well-kept. In the end we had a really good experience so I would suggest this Hotel to anyone visiting the Hintertux glacier."

"Una casa familiar en la que se siente bien. Excelente cocina que ofrece con desayuno, gran jaula de la tarde y 5-Gang-Menü casi pensión completa en la noche. Excelente área de bienestar y spa con tres saunas, cabina de infrarrojos, solarium, piscina con vistas al hielo, piscina cubierta y servicios de bienestar. Caminaciones llevadas por la casa. Medio hora de la línea de autobús de Backtux-Mayrhofen. Incluido el billete para el período de estancia en el precio de la habitación."

"Our stay here has almost spanned ten days (we leave in two days). We don’t see snow in Western Australia so our mouths were wide open at the abundance of snow and arriving on 6 December, it was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas 🎄 We were collected from the train station by France who was super friendly and give us some local advice. This family ran hotel is superb! Every inch of the hotel is so well thought out and in all honesty, if we were not skiing each day, the hotel alone would offer so much to do. We felt guilty leaving this beautiful place to hit the piste. The staff are all super helpful. No request is too much. So sorry for not remembering all of the names but just a few to mention here: Hannah, Anna, Alexis, Bianca, Johann, Isobela, Patrick, Jonathan, Doriana (sorry if misspelt) and the driver who give us our complimentary trip to the slopes each day! 😊 During our stay we have only had very minor feedback to give directly to the hotel. Nothing to spoil the stay but very minor detail that may put the icing on the cake for some staying guests. It does not reduce the five star review hence our feedback will be directly to hotel and not on here as it may not impact most and would be unfair given the efforts they go to, to make this place as close to perfection as possible. Our 11 and 12 year old said “this place feels like we have landed in heaven.” We have previously stayed in fabulous places so our standards are very high. The Bergfried hotel has met and exceeded our expectations. Some guests were on their eighth stay. That is testament to the standards of this hotel. There is so much we could say about this place but we loved the surprise element of discovering all this hotel had to offer and would hate to take that away from any future guests. Thank you for our wonderful and memorable stay so far. We are not looking forward to checking out 😢"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was particularly impressed by the outstanding service. Due to my travel schedule, I arrived quite late in the evening, after the restaurant had already closed. To my surprise, the staff had prepared food for me so that I would not have to go hungry. This was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated after a long journey. Throughout my stay, every member of staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional. It almost felt as if they could read every wish from my face before I even had to ask. Their genuine hospitality made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself was excellent, but what truly sets it apart is the people who work there. Their kindness, attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction left a lasting impression on me. I would gladly stay here again and can highly recommend it."
