"On the 23rd of April 2025 I stayed at the Jakober hotel in Tux with my family and I had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel was not exactly central or close to the ski slopes in reality It was a 10 minute drive but the Hotel had very nice wiews, the hotel Is also close to a nice Trail that goes along a clean and stunning river with lots of nice places to take photos.At First I had the impression that the hotel was understaffed but then I realised that the Woman running the hotel was very polite and professional so She made made out experience even Better.The hotel also had a Ski room service which wasn't the best but It was nice and next to It there was a ping pong table and a spa which are wonderful services and I am glad that the hotel offered them.The room on the other hand wasn't as nice Because It was really old style so It was like a Little apartment with two big and comfy bedrooms with bathrooms whilst also having a kitchen; everything was clean and well-kept. In the end we had a really good experience so I would suggest this Hotel to anyone visiting the Hintertux glacier."

"We have just returned from a great trip to Kinder and Gletscherhotel where we stayed for a week as 2 families. It was a lovely family run place ideally located near the ski lift & close to bus stops linking to larger ski areas. The hotel team were kind enough to arrange a guide in another resort for us. Ski hire is close to the hotel & effortless.We had an excellent experience with local children's ski school. The bedrooms are large with ample storage & excellent housekeeping. We did not use the kids club but our children enjoyed the playroom and playground. Attention to detail was everywhere with little touches like steps in the bedrooms & Kurt napkins left at children's place settings. It would have been nice to have access to 24/7 self service tea/coffee machines."

"We booked two junior suites on the top floor for six skiers. The hotel is centrally located on the main road in Tux, so the main ski areas are within easy walking distance. I had a single room in the suite. The room faced the main road. Unfortunately, the patio door and window didn't have soundproof glass. This was particularly noticeable in the early morning hours. Until then, you could still sleep reasonably well with the window open, but then the peace and quiet was over. The bathroom was stylishly furnished, but there wasn't enough storage space for three people, and there were no hooks for towels. A generous breakfast buffet was offered in the morning, and in the evening there was a choice of three dishes. The food was generally okay, but there's definitely room for improvement: canned corn as a side dish isn't exactly appealing. The staff were all very friendly."

El Alpenhof y Hintertux demostraron desde el primer encuentro el retiro ideal para escapar a y “recargar”. Ahora que ha sido mi turno para pasar la edad de 80 años, he sucumbido a la indulgencia de volver a este feliz establecimiento de invierno y verano durante los últimos diez años. La generación más joven de la familia Dengg ahora está en el lugar con el mismo dedicado al concepto de calidad en todo el mundo: sea servicio, comida, elección de actividades centradas en la salud, etc.. todo proporcionado de la manera más natural y sin pretensiones. A pesar de mis años de progreso, no veo ninguna razón para no esperar unos pocos años más de indulgencia en la hospitalidad del lugar... y mantener el esquí, invierno y verano! Patrick Dormoy."

"Hoteles en Carnaval: Este hotel es un hotel muy agradable! Personal muy amable! Comida muy agradable!!! He dado 4 ‘estrellas’ como valoración, pero eso debe ser realmente 5. Fuimos 2 noches. No había aire acondicionado en la habitación, sino un copo que no estaba feliz ahora (invierno deporte). ¡Por suerte no estaba tan caliente cuando estuvimos allí, pero me pregunté si no se quemaría demasiado en la habitación... ¡Buen baño, maravilloso espacio! dormitorio amplio, espacio suficiente de castillo! ¡Qué bueno que haya un bar agradable donde puedas beber un cocktail agradable! ¡La gente de la zona viene a tomar una copa! ¡Nos vamos de vuelta cuando estamos cerca!"

"Our stay here has almost spanned ten days (we leave in two days). We don’t see snow in Western Australia so our mouths were wide open at the abundance of snow and arriving on 6 December, it was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas 🎄 We were collected from the train station by France who was super friendly and give us some local advice. This family ran hotel is superb! Every inch of the hotel is so well thought out and in all honesty, if we were not skiing each day, the hotel alone would offer so much to do. We felt guilty leaving this beautiful place to hit the piste. The staff are all super helpful. No request is too much. So sorry for not remembering all of the names but just a few to mention here: Hannah, Anna, Alexis, Bianca, Johann, Isobela, Patrick, Jonathan, Doriana (sorry if misspelt) and the driver who give us our complimentary trip to the slopes each day! 😊 During our stay we have only had very minor feedback to give directly to the hotel. Nothing to spoil the stay but very minor detail that may put the icing on the cake for some staying guests. It does not reduce the five star review hence our feedback will be directly to hotel and not on here as it may not impact most and would be unfair given the efforts they go to, to make this place as close to perfection as possible. Our 11 and 12 year old said “this place feels like we have landed in heaven.” We have previously stayed in fabulous places so our standards are very high. The Bergfried hotel has met and exceeded our expectations. Some guests were on their eighth stay. That is testament to the standards of this hotel. There is so much we could say about this place but we loved the surprise element of discovering all this hotel had to offer and would hate to take that away from any future guests. Thank you for our wonderful and memorable stay so far. We are not looking forward to checking out 😢"

"Hotel in right next to cable-way. Rooms was great, balcony with nice view. Food was perfect. Ski room is well thought out. Staff was very kind. Hotel has a terrace with view to mountains. We had afternoon cocktail there with a view to mountains, waterfall, cable-way. It was peaceful. There are trail all around the hotel if you come in summer. We enjoyed it bit time."

"La familia (padres y dos niños adultos con sus esposas) pasa la semana pasada en febrero en el Tuxerhof. Desde el esquí fantástico (ahora tienen una vuelta para un acceso temprano a la glaciaria) hasta el calzado de nieve y la camilla a la experiencia de la sauna y la deliciosa comida, todo fue de primera clase. Aparentemente, fue nuestra décima vez allí, así que nos honraron el mayor con una pequeña celebración y algunos regalos y pinos. A continuación, Andrea y Mario nos llevaron al lugar de esquí apreso a la puerta (el famoso Hexenkessel, que también es propiedad del Tuxerhof) para celebrar. Ahora que volvimos a casa, era un poco triste, pero afortunadamente ya hemos reservado nuestra próxima estancia para el año próximo."

"Fantastic hotel in a beautiful resort. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed good skiing, great dinners, comfortable rooms and a beautiful spa area with pool. The team at the front desk and in the restaurant and bar were all super helpful and looked after our group in every way. The games area on the lower floor was a perfect way to chill after dinner."
