Piazza Castello Suite

Me alojé en la habitación Madama, realmente muy bonita: dos pequeños balcones (uno con mesa y sillas) con vistas a la Piazza Madama y a los museos reales, una pequeña pero funcional cocina completa con cafetera y hervidor, muebles modernos con techo histórico... en resumen , una agradable sorpresa. Personal muy amable dispuesto a darte los mejores consejos para cualquier cosa que necesites, pero sobre todo interesado en recibir comentarios sobre cómo nos encontramos en los distintos lugares visitados o en los restaurantes. Muchas gracias a Valentina que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera muy agradable. Definitivamente regresaré.

Estructura muy bonita y confortable en el centro histórico de Turín. La acogida fue excelente: incluso antes de llegar nos dieron muchos consejos e información para nuestra llegada y estancia (aparcamiento, restaurante, lugares para visitar). Nos alojamos en la habitación "Garibaldina" y debo decir que las camas son realmente muy cómodas y tanto la habitación como el baño tienen el tamaño adecuado. También hay una vista lateral de la plaza del mismo nombre. Dos que quiero destacar: la ausencia de bidet en el baño (?) aunque hay mucho espacio para instalarlo y la ausencia de aparcamiento designado. Justo debajo de la plaza está el aparcamiento subterráneo ACI, pero al llegar en día festivo nos costó un poco aparcar y de todas formas sólo encontramos sitio en el aparcamiento más alejado y con las maletas no era muy cómodo. Sin embargo, en general lo recomiendo.

Ubicación con impresionantes vistas desde la habitación directamente a la plaza y al Palacio Real, muy conveniente para llegar a los principales puntos turísticos de interés de la ciudad. Habitación espaciosa, acogedora y limpia. Hay una cafetera automática con monodosis gratuitas. Personal amable y servicial. El edificio es realmente hermoso y está al lado de bares, restaurantes y tiendas para cada necesidad de último minuto. Además, se encuentra justo al lado de una importante parada de taxis. No es barato pero ciertamente acorde con la ubicación y la oferta. Muy recomendable

El edificio es hermoso. ¡La ubicación es magnífica! Pero este no es un hotel real. Afirman que no hay recepcionista 24 horas. En serio. ¡Casi nunca hay nadie aquí! Mi habitación "de lujo" tiene dos escalones incómodos: uno hacia el pasillo y otro hacia el baño. Anoche me caí tres veces, me corté mucho la pierna y ni siquiera había nadie que me dijera dónde encontrar una farmacia. El hotel dispone de una habitación con balcón (cubierto de excrementos de pájaros). Promueven agua embotellada en la habitación (pero sólo el primer día). Dicen que hay aire acondicionado, ¡pero no hay control remoto! (La habitación estaba helada anoche (no había calefacción ni edredón). Mi habitación todavía no estaba limpiada a las 3 p. m. y no había nadie a quien avisar. Anuncian televisión por satélite, bueno, tal vez, pero solo en italiano. Ninguno. canal en otro idioma, y ​​su clientela es internacional. Sí, la ubicación y la vista son maravillosas, pero no ayudan mucho cuando te sientes miserable en la habitación real.

The rooms offered by Piazza Castello Suite are very nice. Ours was huge with super high ceilings and a view over the plaza. We had a kitchenette and small refrigerator. Getting into this ''hotel'' is a different story. The hotel is manned on the 2nd floor only between about 0800 to 1200 daily. So, when you check in there is no one at the hotel. There are two ways to contact them to get in. There is an intercom system to the right of the door. Many organizations share this building. A resident going out the door explained that you have use the up/down arrow on the outside intercom system to select Piazza Castello Suite and then call them. I think if you had their phone number you can call them directly. We got them on the intercom and they asked for our reservation number, which of course we did not have handy, but they figured it out. They then have to buzz you into the main door. You then proceed to the elevator which is ahead to the left. They then have to code you in so that you can go to the 2nd floor in the elevator. We got into the elevator and we could not go up to the 2nd floor, so we had to leave the elevator, go outside, up/down arrow on the outside intercom system to find Piazza Castello Suite again and ask them to let us up the elevator, and we finally got to the 2nd floor. We then had to find the room. I could not understand the name of the room they told us on the intercom but finally found it. The door was unlocked and the key was inside. Once you get in the room was great. The WIFI is weak so that was an issue, but the room had a super central location and was really nice. There is a public parking place right next to the square. There is no breakfast.

The hotel didn't have an easy access at all! Although the location is great, the access to the building is utterly stressful. The building doesn't belong to the hotel, so you have to call/ring the reception from outside so they can open the front door for you, this turns to be very difficult if you arrive after 1 PM, because the reception isn't 24/7, so you'd have to call their telephone in order to get this front door open. Also, the entrance hall smelled really badly, there was even a sign asking pointing out the "pee" odor. After you get through the front door you took the elevator and arrived at the hotel on the 2nd floor. I was lucky to have arrived during the receptionist's working hour, otherwise there would not be anyone to give me the keys to the bedroom. I thought everything would be ok afterwards, but I was told by the receptionist herself that the front door keys didn't work so well (spoiler: it didn't work at all!). Every time I left the hotel I knew it'd be very stressful to get in when I got back tired from touring the city, many other guests told me they had the same issue, a couple stayed blocked at the front door for more than an hour because they couldn't reach staff. The room was tidy, the bathroom good and good ambiance, but due to this amount of stress I wouldn't recommend the experience to anyone. I almost forgot: wi-fi didn't work at any moment!
