"We really enjoyed our stay at Tropea Blu Maison. It’s set in an original, rustic building full of charm, located right on a beautiful piazza overlooking the beach. The location is ideal — the piazza has plenty of great bars and restaurants just steps away. We highly recommend opting for the ocean view upgrade — it was absolutely worth it and made our mornings and evenings feel extra special. A special mention to Orlana, who made our breakfasts something to look forward to every day with her warmth and hospitality. Just be aware: this is a very basic accommodation, so don’t expect a 5-star experience — it’s all about character, not luxury. Also, travel light: you’ll need to carry your own luggage through the town and up a few flights of stairs. There’s no car access to the property. All in all, a great stay if you’re looking for charm, views, and location over creature comforts."

"Excelente… todo excelente. Amabilidad, cordialidad una hermosa experiencia. Algo para destacar… reservamos por una noche pero antes de llegar decidimos pasar 2 noches en Tropea. Nos comunicamos con el hospedaje y nos dijeron que no había inconveniente. Unos días antes de nuestro arribo se comunican con nosotros para decirnos que por error involuntario solo disponían de 1 noche, pero si nosotros así lo deseábamos el hotel se encargaría de conseguirnos lugar por esa noche de más en un hotel de similar categoría. Así lo hicimos. Una maravilla. El hospedaje estaba a 1 cuadra del otro , así que el desayuno y la cochera nos permitieron usar las instalaciones de Aether Tropea. Súper recomendable… la habitación bellísima y el desayuno INMACULADO. Recomiendo y volveré"

"A bit pleasantly surprised, the hotel facilities are good, with its own underground garage, suitable for driving, the hotel is in a good location, across the street from the restricted area, it is very convenient to step into the old town for sightseeing. Originally I chose to stay in Tropea for the convenience of the ferry to Sicily the next day, I didn't expect the town to be worth a visit!"

"Alexei and the team at Bella Tropea went out of their way to ensure that we had a personalised experience and his recommendations of restaurants and activities allowed us to make the most of our stay in Tropea. Alexei has a large network of other local businesses and made bookings on our behalf to ensure that we were well looked after during our stay. Bella Tropea is a family ran business and it was evident right away that they are passionate about what they do and their reputation. Our flight was delayed and we arrived in Tropea relatively late at night and they stayed back to greet us properly, surprising us with Prosecco and an antipasto platter. Their focus on providing the best experience available is what sets them apart as through their contacts, we were provided discounted rates on restaurants and activities and they were always good recommendations with reputable companies making it a stress free experience. The rooms were also modern, clean and the hotel is placed in a central location, only being a short walk to the beach and to town. The breakfasts were of high quality with a range of local fresh produce and even had some home baked cake that was delicious."

"Fui invitado de Daniela estos días de visita a Tropea, un pueblito maravilloso que se hizo aún más bonito gracias a la hospitalidad y disponibilidad de Daniela. Me hizo sentir como en casa, su presencia fue un punto fuerte durante estos días de estancia. La casa acogedora, equipada con todas las comodidades y muy cerca del centro, un detalle que no hay que pasar por alto para aquellos que como yo preferimos no utilizar el coche. Gracias Daniela, fuiste especial. Nos vemos pronto !"

"The B & B is very modern with 10 rooms. Our room upstairs with garden views. A small room, we are travelling Italy for 3 months so have large bags, the room did not cater for this, we had to lay our bags beside our bed on the floor. The bed is two single beds pushed together leaving an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. The toilet kept dribbling giving off weird noises, making our sleep at night uncomfortable. The hairdryer is past its use by only blowing cold air. The mini fridge is really a cooler, not refrigerating at all. For a modern place the aircon struggled to cool, dropping the 26 degree room to 24 degrees over 2-3 hours. The breakfast covers the basics, with microwave & large toaster/grill. No hot food, the cakes & tarts are recycled each day. Eg day one lovely moist swiss roll, day 2 same roll dry , not nice. The bread provided for toasting is wafer thin and only white it does not toast well. A clothes rack is provided however no pegs (we travel with our own luckily). We had an issue trying to open our balcony door, so I sought assistance from the young lady she told me what to do. Don't call this service actually the opposite. I would have thought she would come to our room to ensure our issue was resolved. The toiletries & toilet paper are not replaced even though we spent three nights. We found the young gentleman quiet helpful."

"Excelente ubicación, prácticamente a orillas del mar. A pocos metros se encuentran las escaleras que llevan al centro de Tropea. El aparcamiento también es práctico y el personal es atento y amable. La única pega importante es que, por casi 200 € la noche, había cucarachas de 10 cm en la habitación. Para solucionarlo, nos dejaron espray anticucarachas, y la factura de la habitación no cambió."
