This boutique hotel is a few minutes from the Christmas market, Porta Niagara, St Peter's Cathedral, restaurants, etc. We stayed in the large Glockensuite which was fabulous. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and included with the room. Overnight parking is available at the Mercure Porta Niagara garage.

Lovely place and the host were quite amazing. It was beautiful and the restaurant on premises was an added bonus.

This place was beautiful! The property is clean and tidy, but has a nice, historic feel. The rooms are very spacious and up to date while keeping an antique vibe. The food was delicious and the customer service was outstanding.

If you are wanting to experience Trier’s Christmas Markets, Hotel zur Glocke is the perfect place. History that lends itself to celebrating the holiday abound at the hotel. It is a 3 minute walk to one of two quaint Christmas Markets.

This beautiful hotel is all about friendliness and luxury. Loved every moment of our 3 night stay in the wonderful city of Trier. The staff are wonderful and our room was delightful with an amazing g view.

This 3 star hotel has many features that are better than many of the 4 and 5 star hotels I have stayed at.

Outstanding hotel with customer service that matches.

We loved absolutely everything about it. We hated to leave but cant wait to return. The building had period elements with every modern convenience. It was a great value for the money. You have to lug your luggage a bit but its sooo worth it. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Why come to the oldest city to stay in a new hotel?

This hotel is an absolute gem in every way! Perhaps as someone who was born in Germany and now lives in the US, I especially appreciate the 1,000-year-old historic foundation combined with first-class modern amenities. There's nothing like it in the US-- it makes for a one-of-a-kind unforgettable treat. Staff was extremely kind and attentive, food outstanding, the location is absolutely superb, and my suite with front row views into old town was incredibly charming. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and an experience I will never forget.
