El hotel era muy bueno. El hotel entero parece haber sido renovado recientemente y las habitaciones son grandes y limpias. El personal del hotel fue muy útil y siempre estaba contento de ayudar! El desayuno incluido es camino a la mayoría de los hoteles para un desayuno complimentario. El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, y es fácil venir y ir como quiera durante el día. ¡Recomiendo este lugar y me gustaría volver de nuevo!

First of all, BAD service attitude. When I checked out, the front desk stuff was playing with phone and ignored me. The cleaning stuff accused us of not cleaning up the bed so that she couldn’t make the bed. I understand, but her attitude is bad. I was offended. In addition, the fire alarm sounded in about 12:30 am! Although it is unavoidable issue, it still affected our rest. Last but not least, I booked for 4 nights. The hotel provided us 2 bottles of water in the first day. Then it would charged us for the water in rest of the days. I was thinking that if I “one day one check”, I would get 8 bottles of water for free. !!!!!

La ubicación es buena. sólo 2-3 minutos a pie a la estación de colegios. El desayuno es agradable en el restaurante en el piso de la lobby. También es fácil encontrar restaurantes en la calle Yonge, sólo 6-15 minutos a pie a Norte o Sur o tomar TTC a otro lugar. Puede reservar un Niagara Falls & pick-up en el hotel.

I’m a big fan of the Canopy brand in general, but I have a hard time loving this particular Canopy. It seems like it’s designed more to look great than to be great. For example, the electric controls next to the bed are unnecessarily complicated— there’s about 9 buttons to control different lights and shades and things, and it isn’t easily usable. You have to hunt through all of them and try to remember the difference between the sconce light and the halo. It’s needlessly complex and that makes it harder to use. There is also a motion-activated night light under the bed, so if you get up in the middle of the night, it shines a light for you, which isn’t great if your partner if sleeping or even if you yourself want to try to go back to sleep. The night light is hyper sensitive, so it activates even if you just lay in bed and dangle your leg down. And there’s no way to disable it. If you don’t want lights going off every time you get out of bed, you have to shove a pillow under the bed to block the motion sensor or cover up the light. I love the filtered water/ice stations (one of my favorite parts about canopy hotels!) but the ones I used here seemed a lot more temperamental than others. You have to hold your water bottle at exactly the perfect angle before water will dispense, but since there’s no instructions, you have to poke around til you figure it out. There’s no little shelf in the shower stall, so if you bring your own toiletries, you have to either put them on the shower floor or balance them on top of the wall-mounted toiletry bottles. I also didn’t love that there’s no door on the bathroom and only frosted glass around the toilet cubicle. The bed was great — very comfy — and the blackout shades were an excellent touch. Very convenient location, close to the subway. And the decor is beautiful, very sleek and bright. It just all feels like it was designed without any context of how a guest will actually interact with all these things.

Tuve una terrible experiencia desencadenada por Trip.com El 1 de junio de 2022 hice esta reserva, y inmediatamente Trip.com dedució el costo de mi tarjeta de crédito. Cuando llegué al hotel, me dijeron que la reserva existe, pero que trip.com no pagó la reserva, por lo que tuve que pagarla con mi tarjeta de crédito. Trtip.com prometió devolverme el dinero a mi tarjeta de crédito, sin embargo, hasta ahora no he recibido nada. My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets. 
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor.
