My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets.
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. Desde la llegada al hotel fuimos recibidos muy amablemente, la habitación esta super confortable, tanto en dimensiones como en mobiliario, la habitación cuenta con cocineta que es muy útil para una emergencia o preparar algo sencillo. La cama esta excelente y el baño bastante cómodo por su espacio. La ubicación del hotel es excelente pues está en el mero corazón de Toronto, cerca de todo y lejos de nada, pues tiene en la puerta de ingreso al hotel una estación del metro o subterráneo que te puede llevar a cualquier parte haciendo las respectivas transferencias, en verdad fue una experiencia muy agradable y a un muy buen precio, además de estar dentro de un edificio histórico de gran banco.

Limpieza, amigable. Aunque la habitación es pequeña y es un baño público, hay un capuchón de agua en la habitación, además de lavarse y cómodo, puede ser completado en la habitación. Stayed 2 nights to catch a baseball game! Cons - view was a empty parking garage, a bit noisy from hallway, just could hear doors closing loudly but our floor was still nice and quiet, and the make-up mirror was broken (so these were the only real cons) Pros - We loved it, Location is Fantastic, so close to Union Station 5 minute walk, close to Rogers Stadium, CN Tower, Aquarium & Harbourfront, we went for breakfast at the St Lawrence Market, a 20 second walk and then we also had a lovely 15 minute walk to the Distillery District. Staff were sooo friendly and accommodating! We only had one meal in the Cafe/Bistro, but it was great (Breakfast) and staff were sooo nice! Beds were comfy!!! Hotel and rooms were super clean! It really was a great place to stay, we will def stay there again!

Less than 500 meters from Bloor street. 5-minute-walking distance from Ossington subway station. Near Korea town, Casa Loma Castle, University of Toronto's downtown campus, Royal Ontario Museum, Little Italy, High park and Ontario Lake. A variety of restaurants, banks, coffee shops, convenience stores, Dufferin mall and Galleria mall are located within walking distance.This is a basement apartment of a traditional home. The apartment has a fully stocked private kitchen, a dining area with living room. It has own private washroom, and a spacious bedroom. The bedroom has a doulbe size bed, plus a sofa bed in living room, one more singled sized bed could be added to the living room. Shampoo, body wash, bath towels and toothpaste included in the washroom. If you have any problem with your stay, you can easily reach me by phone or messages. I also reside in the rooms upstairs if you prefer to communicate in person. This is a basement unit, if you are over 6'2, you might feel confined.

Nuestra habitación estaba frente al aeropuerto y los niños estaban más felices de ver que entonces la televisión (gracias!) Y vale la pena notar que estabamos cerca del ascensor, pero no era un problema de ruido en absoluto (como hemos experimentado en otros lugares en el pasado) (Nota Side, ¡Nos alegramos de que la temperatura de la habitación fuera coherente (y el sistema de refrigeración/calentamiento tranquilo!) UUsuario invitadoLa ubicación es excelente casi en la cima de la Arena Scotiabank, a pie muy cerca del puerto, la estación de la Unión, la Torre CN y muchos restaurantes. El hotel dispone de una tienda de gran magazzino muy bien almacenada, incluyendo una farmacia y un Starbucks. El hotel es moderno y limpio. Nos encantaba nuestra habitación que se ocupaba de todas las acciones que entraban/salen de la Arena Scotiabank. El hotel tiene un tema escandinavo con algunas características de madera. Negativos: podría utilizar más barras de toallas, nuestra habitación no estaba servida en nuestra primera estancia nocturna, tomó mucho tiempo para conseguir toallas de reemplazo; no ofreció crédito al desayuno como acordado, así que tuvimos que contactar con ellos cuando llegamos a casa; El desayuno podría comenzar antes de las 8:00.

Especialmente no le pidas a un camarero que se parezca a ti que te atienda. Mala actitud, y tal vez no todas las comidas pedidas. El camarero indio fue reemplazado al día siguiente, la comida se sirvió más rápido y el servicio fue mejor.

Hay dos defectos: 535 el metro de esta habitación es demasiado alto, hay un metro por minuto, muy aburrido! La cantidad de agua en el baño es demasiado pequeña, muy mala. Así que si vuelve a ser así, no hay ninguna opción para 535 y habitaciones similares.

UUsuario invitadoI recently stayed for two nights for a work event at the hotel and loved it. The hotel is beautiful and clean, while being a throw-back to a different era (like 1800s throwback). The room was large, clean, well appointed. The bar was great, with big comfortable chairs, exposed stone walls, and a welcoming atmosphere — and thank you Astrid for the great service and laughs. Would definitely stay again despite it not being downtown (but it’s right at a subway stop that takes you down the Bloor line, with lots of interesting places to hop off and explore).

UUsuario invitadoPossibly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. However, I can’t give full 5 stars to Hotel St. Regis Toronto for reasons that I’ll explain later. On the subject of location, the Hotel St. Regis in Toronto is in a very fantastic location in downtown Toronto with many of the city’s main sights and attractions (CN Tower, St. Lawrence’s Market and Yonge-Dundas square) all within short walking distance from this hotel. Readily accessible through RideShare apps too. Regarding staff, they were super friendly and helpful, in our experience. We initially had some debit card issues at check-in and admittedly, we should have been better-prepared for the credit card culture in North America. Thankfully, St. Regis were very flexible and our debit card issues were eventually resolved. I’m truly impressed by how accommodating St. Regis are for those of us who are from places that very rarely use credit cards. The offer of complimentary water at check-in was also appreciated. The housekeeping team, especially the Filipinos, were very thorough, kept our suite spotless and respected guest privacy. And on check-out experience, this is where St. Regis Toronto loses points for me. The check-out process took way longer than what is typically expected especially for a 5-star location (should be ＜10 min but took about 30 min for us). Unfortunately, a bit of the little time we have left in Toronto was wasted. What’s also disappointing was this time, there was no offer of complimentary drinks (even tap water, which is free and generally safe to drink in Toronto) while we wait. Admittedly, the staff seemed overwhelmed and visibly stressed during the time we were trying to check-out but I hope the situation improves for the St. Regis Toronto team in the future. On the atmosphere, it was magnificent and luxurious. These two words came to mind when we first entered the lobby. The grandiose look of Hotel St. Regis in Toronto permeated the whole building, from the hallways to our suite. In terms of our room, we booked the Grand Suite which was on the 28th floor and the views from up there, especially at night, were phenomenal. Our suite was very spacious and generally had plenty of storage room. St. Regis Toronto also loses some points here when it comes to storage since we found that there was insufficient storage space for cold items and there was no freezer either. The heated floors and the walk-in shower were also fantastic. The accent wall, mood lighting, clever use of marble for the room design and chandeliers were wonderful touches too, contributing to the luxurious atmosphere of this hotel. The living area of the Grand Suite was our favourite area, especially at night. I’m going to mention the views from the Grand Suite again as they were truly spectacular. On the online engagement. at the time of writing, I found the low level of engagement by St. Regis Toronto with online reviewers here at Google disappointing. Al sur está Queen Fashion Street, al norte está Dundas Dining Street, al oeste está Spadina Chinatown, al este está el centro comercial Provincial City Hall Eaten Center y hay Ontario Art Gallery AGO, Ontario College of Art and Design OCAD al lado, y el parque puede ser alimentado con ardilla. Puedes caminar hacia el sur hasta la torre CN y el lago, e ir hacia el norte hasta lo grande que es. Muy conveniente para la experiencia de viaje.
El vecindario circundante es tranquilo, la calefacción es suficiente en la habitación y el espacio es relativamente compacto, pero está equipado con un pequeño refrigerador y un horno de microondas, y hay una lavadora y una secadora en el sótano, lo cual es muy conveniente.

Los administradores Lucy y Sam son muy amables y están dispuestos a ayudar en lo que sea. Nos hizo sentir como en casa aquí.

El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no es un lugar muy bonito, pero es un lugar muy limpio. La casa de baño está muy bien, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. También decidimos no tocar la cocina porque el quemador estaba roto y no queríamos causar un incendio o algo así. En general, fue decente para una estancia de una noche, pero necesitan disparar al limpiador porque creo que es una fácil reparación ser un mejor lugar para permanecer.
