My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets.
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad, muy cómodo y seguro. Con más de 1.000 habitaciones, el negocio va muy bien. La suite está totalmente equipada, incluso tiene cocina y balcón, y la higiene es buena. Las instalaciones no son las más modernas pero tampoco son antiguas. Son mucho mejores que muchos hoteles en las grandes ciudades de Norteamérica y superaron las expectativas. Si vas al aeropuerto a las tres de la mañana, puedes pedirle al hotel que te ayude a reservar un taxi con un día de antelación, lo cual es más conveniente.

UUsuario invitadoLa ubicación es excelente casi en la cima de la Arena Scotiabank, a pie muy cerca del puerto, la estación de la Unión, la Torre CN y muchos restaurantes. El hotel dispone de una tienda de gran magazzino muy bien almacenada, incluyendo una farmacia y un Starbucks. El hotel es moderno y limpio. Nos encantaba nuestra habitación que se ocupaba de todas las acciones que entraban/salen de la Arena Scotiabank. El hotel tiene un tema escandinavo con algunas características de madera. Negativos: podría utilizar más barras de toallas, nuestra habitación no estaba servida en nuestra primera estancia nocturna, tomó mucho tiempo para conseguir toallas de reemplazo; no ofreció crédito al desayuno como acordado, así que tuvimos que contactar con ellos cuando llegamos a casa; El desayuno podría comenzar antes de las 8:00.

FFelixEl hotel era muy bueno. El hotel entero parece haber sido renovado recientemente y las habitaciones son grandes y limpias. El personal del hotel fue muy útil y siempre estaba contento de ayudar! El desayuno incluido es camino a la mayoría de los hoteles para un desayuno complimentario. El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, y es fácil venir y ir como quiera durante el día. ¡Recomiendo este lugar y me gustaría volver de nuevo!

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel Xiao está situado en el centro de la ciudad, está muy cómodo, hay muchas comidas alrededor, hay muchas tiendas de tiendas grandes, el hotel es un antiguo hotel de cadena internacional, el servicio es muy bueno, hay servicio de recepción chino, las instalaciones de la habitación son muy nuevas, hay un bar de visitas en el 17o piso, puede probar el centro de Toronto, El desayuno es delicioso, pero es necesario comer.

También se encuentran las uñas de los huéspedes en la dirección. La piscina es buena, pero el procesamiento de la piscina de los camareros siempre ha sido pegajoso, no sé qué significa

Cons - view was a empty parking garage, a bit noisy from hallway, just could hear doors closing loudly but our floor was still nice and quiet, and the make-up mirror was broken (so these were the only real cons) Pros - We loved it, Location is Fantastic, so close to Union Station 5 minute walk, close to Rogers Stadium, CN Tower, Aquarium & Harbourfront, we went for breakfast at the St Lawrence Market, a 20 second walk and then we also had a lovely 15 minute walk to the Distillery District. Staff were sooo friendly and accommodating! We only had one meal in the Cafe/Bistro, but it was great (Breakfast) and staff were sooo nice! Beds were comfy!!! Hotel and rooms were super clean! It really was a great place to stay, we will def stay there again!

Rryanch123Casa de estilo victoriano. La ubicación es muy ideal, en la zona central del centro de Toronto. Al sur está Queen Fashion Street, al norte está Dundas Dining Street, al oeste está Spadina Chinatown, al este está el centro comercial Provincial City Hall Eaten Center y hay Ontario Art Gallery AGO, Ontario College of Art and Design OCAD al lado, y el parque puede ser alimentado con ardilla. Puedes caminar hacia el sur hasta la torre CN y el lago, e ir hacia el norte hasta lo grande que es. Muy conveniente para la experiencia de viaje.
El vecindario circundante es tranquilo, la calefacción es suficiente en la habitación y el espacio es relativamente compacto, pero está equipado con un pequeño refrigerador y un horno de microondas, y hay una lavadora y una secadora en el sótano, lo cual es muy conveniente.
Me gusta más el mirador de la habitación del segundo piso, con vista a la calle.
Los administradores Lucy y Sam son muy amables y están dispuestos a ayudar en lo que sea. Nos hizo sentir como en casa aquí.
Volverá la próxima vez si hay una oportunidad.
