Este hostal no es un hotel cápsula, sino un restaurante compartido. Hacía años que no me alojaba en un hostal. Esta vez, viajando sola, reservé este para probar suerte. La ubicación está bien. Está en un barrio tranquilo, no muy lejos de Shibuya y Daikanyama, pero tampoco muy cerca. No es especialmente conveniente, aunque hay una pequeña estación de metro a poca distancia. Está bien para una estancia en solitario, pero si viajas con padres mayores e hijos y llevas mucho equipaje, la ubicación puede estar un poco apartada. Reservamos una habitación compartida. Cada habitación tiene unos 30 metros cuadrados. Hay unas 10 literas. La habitación estaba limpia y tranquila, pero que nos asignaran la litera superior fue bastante incómodo. La única taquilla estaba en la cabecera de la cama, lo cual era un inconveniente para quienes no querían usar pantalones y tenían que arrastrarse para guardar sus pertenencias en el cabecero. El ambiente en general y el hotel en sí eran muy tranquilos, pero la zona de dormir era bastante pequeña. A diferencia de los hoteles cápsula, con tantas camas y gente en un espacio tan amplio, es inevitable encontrarse con gente que llega tarde a casa y hace mucho ruido. También se oye el sonido de los ronquidos y el sudor... La recepción solía estar vacía... El personal era un chico amable y una chica más joven.

Es la primera vez que me alojo en un hostal... Está bien por un día... Fue un poco difícil hacer una reserva para dos días...ㅠ El lugar estaba tranquilo y bien~~

Buena ubicación, lo demás es normalito

Alojamiento bueno, limpio y funcional. La ubicación era buena, había muchos lugares buenos para comer en los alrededores, a unos 15 minutos a pie como máximo de Shibuya si no llevas equipaje. Si lo llevas, hay que subir y bajar algunas cuestas, y te dolerá. El Turntable en sí estaba limpio y era tranquilo, algunos empleados eran encantadores, a otros no les importaba en absoluto. ¿Si comes en el restaurante y te dan comida que no pediste llamada "otoutoshi"/aperitivo? Di que no. No es gratis, tendrás que pagar. Aparte de eso, probablemente me volveré a alojar allí.

Está situado en una calle tranquila a pocos pasos de Shibuya. La ropa de cama era suave y dormí muy cómodamente. La ducha y el WC estaban muy limpios y fue muy inteligente que hubiera una mesa en el pasillo. Si tienes la oportunidad, creo que sería una buena idea quedarte aquí por mucho tiempo y ver Tokio. Quería probar el restaurante del primer piso, pero no pude porque no era el momento adecuado. Lo visitaré nuevamente la próxima vez.

Tal vez fue porque no había mucha gente cuando me registré, por lo que obtuve la rara tranquilidad de un albergue juvenil. La pendiente de la puerta es realmente difícil de describir e impresionante. Las chicas con maletas pesadas realmente no son amigables.

Muy buena experiencia de vida, muy cerca del distrito comercial de Shibuya.

Very good service. I noticed just before 11pm that I'll be late for check in by an hour and they waited for me, although it was super spontaneous. Everything was good, clean room, good showers, not crowded.

I had a really great stay at Turn Table. A few things to keep in mind when booking this place. It is in Shibuya but it's about a 15 minute walk from Shibuya station and includes a pretty steep hill. It's downhill on the way there but uphill on the way back to Shibuya station. There are stairs at the entrance so if your suitcase is heavy, you may need to request help. There is another station about a 5 minute walk but it's not on a popular line. It is only one stop from Shibuya however if you want to avoid the long walk. I used that to get my large suitcase back to Shibuya station. There are many convenience stores nearby and a small supermarket. There are also many ebikes and escooters around that you can rent with the Luup app. I used this and had no issue travelling around. Aside from Shibuya station, you also have easy access to Harajuku and Meguro. Meguro especially is walking distance and has a lot of very nice cafes! Keep in mind that this is a hostel and not a hotel. If you come in expecting a hotel, you may be disappointed. If you come in knowing it's a hostel, you will be surprised by how good it is. I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom rather than a shared dorm and this was honestly one of the best places I've stayed at in my many trips to Tokyo. The room was large. I had my large suitcase open on the floor the entire stay and I had no issues walking around the room. The room just as well equipped as a regular hotel and honestly, the room was better than some actual hotels in some other countries. The room came with a robe, slippers, all the required toiletries including toothbrush and toothpaste. Bathroom was quite nice as well. Only thing was there was no fridge in the room but a shared one down the hall with paper to write your name on your own things. This wasn't an issue for me. As this was a hostel, there is a social element so note that you might hear people talking in the hallway sometimes, especially since there was a communal seating and eating space in the hallway outside of my room but there was never any noise during bed time. I also noticed that noise didn't travel through the wall. In the hallway, I could hear people watching videos in their rooms but within my room, it was always quiet. There was also daily housekeeping which surprised me as I didn't expect that at this price point. There is also a restaurant downstairs which seemed to only have Japanese people visiting during the day. I hadn't tried it so I am not sure how it is but it seemed popular for locals. There's a vintage clothing store near door and a bunch of bars, restaurants and cafes in the next street which seemed like really local places not often visited by travellers. I really recommend this place.

The room for one person traveling is pretty good.

I do not recommend. The beds are old, the dust is not wiped, the stairs are not okay for the second floor, there is too little space to walk in the room. I asked if they have an adapter, they don't, they don't help you with anything. The only good thing is the location. I wanted to stay another day because I liked another attraction in the area and it would be the closest to me than this hostel, they told me they had free space, but I had to leave and move in again after 3:00 PM
