Decepción total este hotel donde decidimos acabar nuestra aventura en Kenya. No es para nada un 5*, como mucho un 4* La ubicación es buena y lo mejor es el staff de housekeeping. Los chicos que hacen las habitaciones son los más atentos, profesionales y serviciales. Si los jefes y general managers fueran como ellos este hotel sería 5* lujo. Titus, el que se encargaba de nuestra habitación fue muy detallista, agradable y siempre facilitando todo de forma rápida y eficaz. Cedric el responsable del gimnasio también muy bueno y Lilian de recepción muy profesional y empàtica y también destacamos Judy la camarera. Tuvimos problemas desde el check in en el hotel y tratamos de comunicarnos con algun responsable pero poca atención. Las habitaciones son antiguas y necesitan renovación: bañeras dañadas, lámparas o******s... Es verdad que están limpias y si necesitas algo y lo pides a los de housekeeping te lo traen al momento pero como llames a recepción para algo no vienen nunca. La sala de juegos da miedo, todo roto y abandonado e inservible y en la guardería hay literas donde a plena luz del día duermen los empleados. Cogimos el paquete de pensión completa y nos aseguramos que los 3 restaurantes estaban bien por teléfono y nos dijeron era lo Mejor del hotel. Pues de 3 solo había un buffet que era para todo, desyuno, comida y cena y la verdad muy muy pobre; estanterías y espacios vacios donde debería haber comida y variedad. El buffet del mediodía muy muy pobre y el resto pues escaso y poca variedad. Hay otro restaurante en la playa pero se tenia que pagar a parte aun teniendo pensión completa y eso no fue lo acordado por teléfono. Muy descontentos con eso y con el general manager que jamás se molestó en conocer nuestras necesidades o experiencia. Ya lo que colmó el vaso fue que celebraron una convención de 800 personas en el hotel y colapsaron todo, las áreas comunes, el restaurante con colas interminables y el WiFi dejó de funcionar bien e incluso cortes de Luz por la sobrecarga. Estamos de vacaciones pero rodeados de gente que está trabajando que ocupa hamacas y todo y ni hay calma ni ambiente de vacaciones... Estos eventos deberían hacerlos a parte y que no afectaran a los huéspedes que estamos en el hotel.

Si tiene suerte de venir a Kenia, le sugiere que venga aquí para unas vacaciones, este hotel le dará una sensación incomparable. Playa blanca, Océano Índico verde, los afroamericanos entusiastas le darán unas vacaciones perfectas. El servicio al cliente de Trip.com es muy bueno, le ayudará a responder a las preguntas sobre su estancia y le ayudará a seguir el progreso de su pedido.

El hotel es muy bonito, debería ser un hotel de estilo Swaziland, aunque no sé qué estilo Swaziland 🤭. El restaurante del hotel, las tiendas pequeñas también tienen varias familias. También hay restaurantes de spa, entorno, paisaje y comidas muy buenas. Vale la pena recomendar. . Hay una casa de Left al otro lado de la puerta del hotel. También es conveniente. También puedes pedirle que salga al mar para ver el tsunami 🐬

We were privileged to stay at Bahari Dhow Villas between August 1 and Augus 6, 2023. We were attracted to the serenity of the facility, and the accessibility of the pools next to the villas (villa has three great and well-kept pools), which our children really loved, as well as its location on the beach (allowed us rest and dining at the beach). The highlight of our stay was the tasty food from the restaurant and great customer service from the reception team (Lillian + Jerome) to the workers (Steven), the waiters (Chai + Caxton), and the pool attendant (Daniel). These individuals made our stay enjoyable, and we would like to thank them! The villas are also spacious, with the kitchen having a good oven and fridge (even though the kitchen would do with addition crockery and cutlery). The flip side of our visit was the acceptance into the property of rowdy, party-going travelers that occupied the villa next two ours, two days to our departure. The last two days were characterized by rowdy behavior that included blaring music, from early morning, aimless consumption of alcohol including around the pool to some unwelcome making out in the pool! With a mixed crowd of families with infants and small children, to mature citizens as patrons, we would have hoped that the instructions were clear on the type of activity and behavior permissible in the premises. This was not the case and forced us to complain to the reception on two occasions about the music and general disruption. On the villar itself, we feel that a thorough cleaning is due, especially in the kitchen area (walls and electronics) and the lounge chairs (external and internal ones). Also, our mattress in the master bedroom may do with a change as we kind of sunk into the middle, ruining a good night of rest.

Though Kaskazi is undoubtedly not as sparkling as it might have been in its heyday, the value for money is pretty good for a prime location, huge hotel, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. A large pool (could do with a bit of a clean), tasty food, and large rooms with AC. I liked that there was easy beach access and it’s walking distance to the shops and bars and restaurants that I like in diani. There’s even some activities for the kids. We came as a large running club and we got an excellent deal and were made to feel welcome. It’s big enough to accommodate large groups and not feel crowded.
