When staying at the hotel we couldn’t fault it. Children stay free if sharing a room, and we had booked to visit Efteling. We didn’t realise but our stay coincided with carnival, for this reason I think we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel (as I can imagine those front facing would be very noisy - there is a huge stage directly in front of the hotel at this time, as well as many food vans and outside bars etc - not that any of this worried us). So our room was on the 5th floor at the rear with a direct view of the multi story car park! (But we didn’t book for a view!). The room was well equipped with a comfy bed and a seperate shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The only issue I would say regarding the rooms is that they were very dark so it was hard to see your items in the wardrobe. Not a big deal! The staff on reception were really helpful and chatty, and gave us lots of advice. It’s super easy to reach Efteling from here, we walked to the coach station (just by the train station) and there were regular buses. Again children travel free. You could walk to the station in about 10-15 mins. The shopping streets are very close to the hotel, and nice for a stroll - plenty of places to eat etc. we enjoyed backwerk bakery just a couple of shops down from the hotel, they did fresh smoothies and juices and lovely fresh sandwiches. Perfect for brunch/lunch. There is a Taco Bell next to the hotel! My son wanted to try it but we didn’t get chance! The issue for us came out check out, our flight wasn’t until the evening so we asked to use the secure luggage room for our case so we could enjoy our last day. We came back to the hotel to pick up our bag, and make our way to the airport. I was let in to the luggage room to get our case, but it had gone. The staff didn’t know what to do, apart from check and speak to other staff members. Eventually I asked to see the manager as we really needed to leave (fortunately we had been sensible and kept our passports and money etc on us). And I was asking for something in writing to say they had “lost” our case - as I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving with no proof (they also wanted to take the luggage receipts - I think because they wanted to figure out what had happened). The manager was “checking the CCTV” but upon our second request did come out and see us. She did apologise for the case going missing (after a long time!! More hearing about how strange this was?!?) and said if it “wasn’t found” they would replace it. At this point I was getting concerned about travelling home without any of our things, especially with my son, for example some warmer clothes, his switch!! A big NO to this hotel with understanding that you are booking a budget hotel: the alarm system of hotel rang 2:30 am on 24 december 2022 for NO reason. We went down, tired and frustrated at night, and finally the caretaker who showed up said nothing was happening, and apparently according to them?? somebody smoked inside his room. NO verbal apologies, no compensations, no discounts ( breakfast vouchers) NOTHING! The whole my life have not seen such an unfriendly customer service hotel in the Netherlands. The expat kitchen /receptionist stuff who could not speak Dutch, but some broken English also did not ask us how our stay was or if we pleased was with their service. We explained what happened, but instead she mumbled a bit. Later I asked to talk to the manager if possible, she said the manger was not available. Other issues: Cleanness: poor. Infront of where the bic row was, just in front of inertance lots of garbage carried away by wind. The same with under beds lots of stuffs and old broken battery...! the terrace ahead of where Bastion name was installed, all were so dirty as if ages not cleaned. One light bulb was broken so our room was darker, the tv remote was not working good, no tissues available at room, no extra towel for the shower ground so you had to use the same towel for the ground while out the douch. The douch pipe was broken and spreading water everywhere. No extra pillows if you wanted to have more higher support while sleeping. You see, these details that you think upon what level why are they so extremally economizing and messy ignorant with?? All in all NO and suggest you also to not.

You see, these details that you think upon what level why are they so extremally economizing and messy ignorant with?? All in all NO and suggest you also to not.

A big NO to this hotel with understanding that you are booking a budget hotel: the alarm system of hotel rang 2:30 am on 24 december 2022 for NO reason. We went down, tired and frustrated at night, and finally the caretaker who showed up said nothing was happening, and apparently according to them?? somebody smoked inside his room. NO verbal apologies, no compensations, no discounts ( breakfast vouchers) NOTHING! The whole my life have not seen such an unfriendly customer service hotel in the Netherlands. The expat kitchen /receptionist stuff who could not speak Dutch, but some broken English also did not ask us how our stay was or if we pleased was with their service. We explained what happened, but instead she mumbled a bit. Later I asked to talk to the manager if possible, she said the manger was not available. Other issues: Cleanness: poor. Infront of where the bic row was, just in front of inertance lots of garbage carried away by wind. The same with under beds lots of stuffs and old broken battery...! the terrace ahead of where Bastion name was installed, all were so dirty as if ages not cleaned. One light bulb was broken so our room was darker, the tv remote was not working good, no tissues available at room, no extra towel for the shower ground so you had to use the same towel for the ground while out the douch. The douch pipe was broken and spreading water everywhere. No extra pillows if you wanted to have more higher support while sleeping. You see, these details that you think upon what level why are they so extremally economizing and messy ignorant with?? All in all NO and suggest you also to not.

When staying at the hotel we couldn’t fault it. Children stay free if sharing a room, and we had booked to visit Efteling. We didn’t realise but our stay coincided with carnival, for this reason I think we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel (as I can imagine those front facing would be very noisy - there is a huge stage directly in front of the hotel at this time, as well as many food vans and outside bars etc - not that any of this worried us). So our room was on the 5th floor at the rear with a direct view of the multi story car park! (But we didn’t book for a view!). The room was well equipped with a comfy bed and a seperate shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The only issue I would say regarding the rooms is that they were very dark so it was hard to see your items in the wardrobe. Not a big deal! The staff on reception were really helpful and chatty, and gave us lots of advice. It’s super easy to reach Efteling from here, we walked to the coach station (just by the train station) and there were regular buses. Again children travel free. You could walk to the station in about 10-15 mins. The shopping streets are very close to the hotel, and nice for a stroll - plenty of places to eat etc. we enjoyed backwerk bakery just a couple of shops down from the hotel, they did fresh smoothies and juices and lovely fresh sandwiches. Perfect for brunch/lunch. There is a Taco Bell next to the hotel! My son wanted to try it but we didn’t get chance! The issue for us came out check out, our flight wasn’t until the evening so we asked to use the secure luggage room for our case so we could enjoy our last day. We came back to the hotel to pick up our bag, and make our way to the airport. I was let in to the luggage room to get our case, but it had gone. The staff didn’t know what to do, apart from check and speak to other staff members. Eventually I asked to see the manager as we really needed to leave (fortunately we had been sensible and kept our passports and money etc on us). And I was asking for something in writing to say they had “lost” our case - as I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving with no proof (they also wanted to take the luggage receipts - I think because they wanted to figure out what had happened). The manager was “checking the CCTV” but upon our second request did come out and see us. She did apologise for the case going missing (after a long time!! More hearing about how strange this was?!?) and said if it “wasn’t found” they would replace it. At this point I was getting concerned about travelling home without any of our things, especially with my son, for example some warmer clothes, his switch!! I felt the customer service here was lacking, there was no gesture here - could they assist us getting to the airport for example - She did offer to go to the shop but by this point we were cutting it so fine to get to the airport / which we said to her! Great stop for one night. Typical Ibis with little storage space but enough for a small amount of luggage. Comfortable bed, nice shower room, good water pressure and decent air conditioning. There was a kettle in the room (not always in Holland) but small paper cups - china cups would have been a nice touch. Breakfast was good although it did feel as if we were in a pub environment. Great location. Not far off the motorway but on a quiet industrial estate with lots of trees. Free parking. Can definitely recommend for a stop whilst travelling.

Hotel de fecha en un lugar central del centro. Ideal para comprar y salir. También es la desventaja más grande del hotel. El ruido exterior es muy bajo, muy alegría, y el ruido bajo profundo de la calle de fiesta está lleno de terrazas donde se encuentra el hotel. Esto es bueno y no es muy exigente para un hotel, entonces esta es una opción excelente. El hotel, el baño y el desayuno están limpios. El resto es una gloria perdida. El desayuno es razonable. Concepto de Navidad con dinero, que hace unos años tuvimos una experiencia tan buena en el Restaurante Wege Gilze Rijen, donde podías elegir a la carta de los platos sabrosos. Pero lamentablemente, que se ha ido, así que sólo Tilburg intentado. Totalmente no comparar! Aquí para 72,50 pp una cena de buffet sencilla masiva (con bebidas estándar) en una fábrica de comida. Y eso con Navidad? !! ? ! Horrible. Para perder y eliminar a la mayor cantidad posible de personas, se había organizado en varias sesiones, pero ni siquiera era suficiente, y aparentemente, cuando nuestra sesión estaba llena de restaurantes. Nos han golpeado en una especie de sala de reuniones iluminada con muchos otros. No es absolutamente incansable y sin atmósfera. Luego, en una sala de sobrepresión, podíamos coger comida cada vez. También se prepararon carne y salmón a la orden, pero las filas eran enormes. El resto muy sencillo: spaghetti, balletes, fritas, etc. Sí, también se encontraron salmón fumado y sushi (si se completaba). Pero ese sushi parecía salir del supermercado, incluso los tubos de soja, muy poco elección y no sabía. ¡Me perdíamos nuestra familia 507,50 (7 prensas) que tuviste que pagar por adelantado y no podías cancelar! No me valía 200 euros. Todo fue tan terrible que ya reservamos en enero en un verdadero restaurante. Porque nunca más queremos hacerlo!!!!!
