Columbus Apartments

We were in appartment 2B which was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Double bed was very comfy and had plenty of drawers and storage space. Plenty of towels too Pool area was clean and was very well kept Would highly recommend this appartment

We stayed in 7a apartment. We haven't stayed here before but they made it so easy and no stress to our arrival! Very clean and has everything you need! Very close to the beach and the promenade which is full of restaurants and bars to choose from.. As its so close to everything it's still very quite in the apartment. Brilliant stay and definitely will be back massive thank you xx

We recently stayed in apartment 3a and had a fab time as always at columbus. The apartment is clean and super comfortable with everything you could need. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and the terrace area has great views, we like to enjoy a vodka Fanta lemon out there before heading out in the evening. The complex is set just back from the ***** so everything you need is within walking distance but it is still really peaceful and quiet. We have stayed at columbus several times now, we love it and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else and can't wait to go back later in the year

Stayed in apartment 3a and had a really great week. The complex is so close to everything you need, but seems to be in its own little 'bubble' of peacefulness. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for for a self-catering stay (not that we did any self-catering with so many restaurants on your doorstep). We had fast wifi that never buffered and the TV had English channels and movies, but we didn't use it much as we were out enjoying the bars! The complex itself is small (only about 14 apartments I think), but has plenty of space and sunbeds around the pool. The first floor level apartments (all apartments with 'a') have balconies that are plenty big enough to sit out on and sea views out towards Fuentaventura - wonderful at sunset. Ground floor all have terraces and a few are reduced mobility friendly. All in all we had a great week and will be back again for sure. Just a word of warning though. From talking to others on the complex, the apartments are all owned by different owners and the standard of the apartments differ depending on how the owner has fitted them out. Some are better than others (better equipped, updated fittings, aircon, etc), so be aware when you book and ask. I can thoroughly recommend 3a and we will definitely try to book that one again.

Excellent location close to local beach, pubs resturants in a quiet location. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, well equipped. Couldn't ask for better will definitely return and would highly recommend it to anyone x

We arrived early at the apartment and the cleaner was in and we were able to leave our luggage. She told us to come back at 2.30 and handed us the key. When we returned she was gone. We never seen anyone again. I thought by law a copy of our passports should have been taken. The cutlery l had to wash as food was still on them. The pots and lids were the same so all plates cups etc were washed. The tv unit and all other wooden tables had to be dusted. The place was not clean. I emailed the person who l had paid and got no satisfaction. We were booked for 3 weeks with my daughter and son-in-law and baby of 4 months coming for 10 days. I didn’t expect 5* but basic cleanliness. I would not stay here again and l hope others see this review. We stayed in apartment 2A and it’s dated and was dirty.

I am just back and a wouldn’recomend these apartments to anyone it’s not a holiday ur closed in and cannot play music or feed the birds there’s no reception it’s so noisy with the bottles rattling all night going in to the bottle bank a stayed in 5 b the microwave did not work there were sparks coming out of it the electricity kept tripping there’s no one there to help apart from the nosey neighbours that live there wen u think there on holiday this place is to noisy also it’s up a hill there’s no veiw for the money u pay a woke up all bitten there was ants crawling about on the bed sheets the floors were black never been cleaned won’t be back ur not free in these apartments plus someone tried my handle of my door scared me glad to get home

Just back from an amazing holiday staying in apartment 3A at Columbus. Cannot fault anything . Apartment was fabulous - spotlessly clean with everything you could want plus more. Stunning sea views from the sun trap terrace and wonderfully looked after by Jo the manager. The complex itself is small and very wekk looked after. Pretty gardens , huge terrace and pool area (with views to die for) and plenty of sunbeds so no sunbed wars! Perfect location - literally 2 minutes to the beach and main ***** and yet still quiet and very safe. Tucked away you dont know it is there and we are so pleased we found it - have already booked for next year , we wanted to come again later in 2023 but sadly all booked out. All of this and at a very reasonable price too , far less than we have paid for far inferior accommodation in other complexes. We love PDC and have been coming for many years - we now have our favourite place to stay too. Thank you Sue for looking after all the booking and admin process and thank you Jo for looking after us whilst there. Looking forward to seeing you in 2024. Cant wait!

Great apartment, perfect location. We’ve stayed at Columbus Apartments before and have never been disappointed. The apartment we stayed in was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and a great view out over the sea. Perfectly placed for the main ***** just a minute’s walk (not flat, but nothing like cardiac hill!), supermarket within a couple of minutes’ walk and three bars within a minute. No fighting for sun beds, plenty of room on the terrace. Also only a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport, so no lengthy expensive transfers. I don’t know which complex the negative reviews were staying at, it certainly wasn’t Columbus. Perhaps their memory is as bad as their English.
