Hampton Inn by Hilton Richmond West Innsbrook

The staff were very friendly, but I have 2 complaints. The first one is that my room was directly across from 2 elevators AND an ice machine. So I did not get any sleep, which I really needed. My second complaint is that there were several ***** hairs in the shower. I am hoping this review doesn't get posted and it's just informational for Trip.com.

Nice stay. Staff is wonderful Emily and Tay are great. Little humid even with the “cool “ ac. I would stay again

Not a very good look when you open the door and the first thing that you see is this.

After crossing the luminous metro area of Richmond, I arrived at this beautiful hotel. It is located in a tranquil neighborhood, away from the noise of the city, yet still close to restaurants and shops. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean and well-lit, giving me a good first impression. The room was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night. The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable. When I woke up the next morning, I was showered in the bright sunshine. The large window filled the room with natural light, which made the start of the day refreshing. Breakfast was served downstairs, offering the typical Hampton Inn options—eggs, sausages, waffles, cereals, and fresh fruit. It was simple but satisfying. Overall, it was a pleasant one-night stay, and I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a peaceful environment near Richmond.

The breakfast at this location was awful. There were no hard-boiled eggs, the egg bin was empty, and the eggs that were available were cold. The only option left was waffles. Embassy Suites provided a much better breakfast experience.

This was a nice facility, with some minor maintenance issues that needed attention. Lexie, on the front desk was lovely and welcoming when we arrived. The room was clean and the facility was easy to find. Our room AC was wonky. Though adequately cool, it never got to seriously AC cold. I'm sure they would have fixed it but we were in and out of the room so much we didn't want to ask for a fix when we weren't there. Same thing with the blinds/shades. There was a blind on the window, but it was see-through (something I realized when we got back late at night and I could see into the ground-floor rooms!). They had controls for room darkening shades, but they didn't actually exist, nor were there curtains to draw so the room was super-light in the morning. No sleeping in for us! The bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels and amenities. The bed was comfy and we got a good nights' sleep.

Nice hotel in a great location.   The mattresses could be softer and also when the hvac unit clicked on it was noises. This tells me that this is an older facility and may be due for a renovation. Overall I’d still give it a great rating

Nice breakfast, which differs each day. Wide bathroom and bedroom. Very clean. There is a sofa.

Only stayed one night and there was a large group there. This large group took over the whole place. In the TV area where the lounge was filled with loud adults and kids. We headed to our room about 8:30 that evening after going out to have a quieter time. The kids were knocking on the door as they were running up and down the hall way, yes, the parents didn't stop them. I thought surely this will calm down by 12 midnight. Well I was wrong, this when on until 3:09AM in the hallway people running talking while going up and down the hallway. Then the groups out side in front of the hotel talking loud.. It was so loud you thought it was in the room. We left the TV on to see if that helped, it didn't. The front desk should have done something to stop this behavior. I was a paying guest also. Very disappointed. I told the young guy who checked me out and he said they had had trouble with them all week. So I had to pay $ 200.00 to stay there and not sleep. The front desk should have stopped the group from disturbing the other guest. I was very upset and very tried there next morning. I all I got was I am sorry, they are leaving today.
