Bougainvillea Apartments

Great communication from staff. Arrived early AM, security had my key. Apar**ents have everything you need and clean, I was pleasantly surprised. There are steps and hills so for small children/ elderly use caution. Same with the road outside. Beach is 10 minutes walk. Straight into spice market. I walked to BBC beach too. Local bus/minibus to St George is $1 and 2 minute walk opposite the supermarket. I would definitely stay here again if I revisit . I felt safe as a solo female traveller.

Loved our balcony and the well equipped kitchen. It’s an apar**ent, not a fancy resort, and it fully met all of our family’s needs. The staff were friendly and responsive. A great experience; we plan to go back.

Do not go here. Extremely mediocre for the ridiculous amount of money you rent it for. Place is dusty with bugs everywhere as if it’s not constantly cleaned. The kitchen is the dusty area with an oven that’s unusable. Don’t even get me started on the stove. You need matches to even light it. The TV in the dining room doesn’t work for whatever reason and the poor material of a couch we got had food and dirt from the previous people who rented. IF YOU TAKE THIS HELL HOLE PLEASE KNOW YOU MAY BE TAKING COLD SHOWERS! Not to mention the drain in said shower is piss poor. It really sucks and I feel like my family should be compensated for the distress this villa caused and ruined the vacation for me personally. I’m scared to sleep even as I fear another dead insect might fall on my face or hair. The only good experience about this place was the staff honestly, they are chill people but this place definitely isn’t. Nothing about it screams $2-3k (in EC) for 9 days and honestly it IS a scam.

This was my second stay at this property. Very clean, well decorated and a good supply of toiletries and kitchen items. Highly recommend.

This is my own personal opinion of this property. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean place to stay with priority to be close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, public transportation, and very good shopping, then this may be an option. Grenada is not cheap, but for me, Bougainvillea was priced right. The decor is I don't spend much time in the apar**ent. What I can say is, my friend and I stayed in a very large two bedroom with two bathrooms, a functional kitchen, and a large living room with a big screen TV. Every morning, I ate breakfast there, and my friend made coffee with food from the Food Fair grocery store. Other than a tour of the island, lunch and dinner were from local restaurants within walking distance. It was very hot in Grenada, so I walked to places that were close. Transportation to town was a five minute walk. The apar**ents are all walk ups. It is not for someone who can't walk up steps. Would I stay at Bougainvillea again? The answer is yes.

My 3 weeks, 22 nights, stay at the Bougainvillea apar**ent in Grant Anse Grenada in June were delightful and enjoyable. The day I checked in, I discovered that the front door was missing the privacy latch. The ceiling fan in the living room wasn’t working. The ceiling fan in the bedroom only had one rotation, number 3, the highest rotation. As soon as I notified the management of the issues, the situations were rectified immediately. The apar**ent comes with a fully functional and equipped kitchen. Came in handy because I wanted to prepare and cook my own meals. The apar**ent was fully clean every other day by housekeeping. Using the apar**ent’s own map and broom. Towels and sheets are washed separately. The building has a security guard on site from 6 pm to 6 am nightly with smartly placed cameras. Thanks to the management and all the staff for making my 22 nights very secure, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Loved the Location and the Amenities at this Hotel. Staff was welcoming and accommodating especially Sharon and Housekeeping staff. Would recommend hooks on Doors for Hanging stuff especially in bathroom. Overall would stay at Property again in future.

Great location close to amenities and beach. Friendly and welcoming staff.

There were a lot of lizards and leaves around and the back of the apar**ent could be brighter
