Nice small family run hotel in a great location walking distance to train station. Staff were welcoming and explained amenities to me. Room was clean and as a female solo traveller I felt comfort and safe

Lovely hotel, very close to the train station. Very friendly owner and a nice restaurant downstairs with good food and excellent service. Room was comfortable and quiet. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay if you are visiting in Tuefen.

The room had no air conditioning and the night I arrived it was heavily humid with a strong odor of cooking oil coming up from the kitchen. I requested a fan but was told that the other guests were using all the fans and that I would have to wait for one of them to check out. At that point I became angry. The hotel agent clearly understood that I did not find his response acceptable and returned five minutes later with a large fan. Although the room was small it was clean and, with the fan going continuously, relatively comfortable. It is also important for any prospective traveler to know in advance that the photograph of the hotel in no way matches the reality. It was definitely doctored to make the hotel appear far more externally charming than it really is.

Mein neues zu Hause in der Ostschweiz? Reisen Sie spontan und die besten Begegnungen warten auf einen! Denn es ist nicht wichtig wohin man geht, sondern wem man begegnet? Perfekte Location für Geniesser/innen. Mit viel Herzblut wird das Hotel zur Linde von der Familie Lanker und Team geführt. Ich fühlte mich von Anfang an sehr willkommen geheissen und an flottä Hengert mit Mama Anker war sehr bereichernd. Ihre Weinempfehlung zu den Ravioli mit Spargel und Morchel war perfekt. Schön werden einheimische Weine empfohlen! Das Abendesse herrlich gekocht und das Frühstücksbüffet top. Im Zimmer herrlich und gut geschlafen und alles da was man braucht. Ich komme gerne wieder. Weil meine Lieblingshotels besetzt waren und ich spontan reise - eine Bereicherung und das neue Lieblingshotel ab Heute? Geht man nicht viel zu oft seinen Gewohnheiten nach? Lässt man noch Platz für Neuentdeckungen? Neue Bekanntschaften?

Anlässlich unserer Klassenzusammenkunft im Restaurant zur Linde buchte ich ein Einzelzimmer für eine Nacht, da ich am folgenden Tag einen zweiten Termin in der Region hatte. Ein kleines, sauberes Zimmer - es war alles da, was man für eine Nacht benötigt. Frau Lanker und ihre Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr gute Gastgeber, sei es im Hotel oder auch während unseres Klassentreffens. Die Linde liegt nur einige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Teufen entfernt, für Autofahrer gibt es eine Vielzahl von Parkplätzen vor und hinter dem Haus.

PLUS: Ruhige und zentrale Lage mit kostenlosem Parkplatz; ausgiebiges Frühstück, auch mit lokalen Produkten; sehr gastfreundliche Inhaber-Familie, die gerne Fragen beantwortet; einfaches, dennoch schönes und zweckmässig eingerichtetes, sauberes (Einzel)Zimmer mit sehr gutem Schlafkomfort; sehr feine Küche. MINUS: Einrichtung teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen. TIPPS: Nach Halbpension fragen, weil feines Restaurant mit lokaler/gehobener Küche und aufmerksamem Service; ÖV nutzen.

Die Auswahl an Essen zum Mitnehmen ist sehr gut. Habe drei Menüs bestellt und alle waren top. Hier stimmte einfach alles. Sehr freundliches Personal. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Immer wieder gern. 👍👍👍
