Central Laguardia Hotel

The room very dirty and the staff his not friendly.

From May 1st to May 8th 2023 my sister and I had a holiday in Israel. The vacation was wonderful except for our shabby, crappy hotel. It is La Guardia Hotel, 9 La Guardia St. in Tel Aviv. My sister had a room overlooking the intersection of highways and thus providing a night-&-day traffic noise. My room didn’t have a window! My bathroom and shower cell were terribly small. Everything was either lacking (e.g. a safe deposit box) or dirty, worn or broken. The service was bad. Our sheets were not replaced the whole week, our towels were replaced only once, no cleaning of the rooms whatsoever (the thrash bin was emptied once). The manager, a Russian who has been living in Israel for 32 years, still hardly spoke any English. He was a grumpy guy, never smiled to his guests and could be heard bullying his housekeeping son every afternoon. They seemed to be quarreling, everything in Russian. One day we returned to the hotel and weren’t able to open the front door. The manager was visibly lying on the couch 1 meter away and at first refused to open the door for us. Incredible! The hotel is cheaper than most hotels in Tel Aviv (a terribly expensive city!), but the price-quality rate is bad. Don’t go there!

The room was nothing like the room I requested and I removed the sheets only to discover soiled stains on the mattress . Next time I visit Israel ( which will be soon) I plan on stay in a much nicer and more convenient Hotel. My advice is please steer clear of this property

location is close to transportation, Tel aviv central bus station where you can travel to any direction.

The walls of the bedroom are absolutely filthy. The floor of the shower in the bathroom was disgusting. At least the toilet and sink was clean. Let's not even talk about the view from the window that is above head level. To get to the 3rd floor is very inconvenient with luggage because there is not elevator. There's no breakfast at all so you'll need to find somewhere to go. Luckily there are a few coffee shops nearby.

First off, there are two locations -- the one that is popular on Google Maps is the wrong location (it's a schoolhouse), and it is the one with all the reviews (not the actual location, which conspicuously has 0 reviews). When we arrived, we were double-charged for our room because the man at the front desk told us that you can't trust 3rd party sites... even though our 3rd party site was ***********! The first room we were given already had someone in it, and we interrupted some woman's shower by making her come to the door and confirm the room was occupied. At this point, we were really disappointed in the location (dark lighting, odd location, poor air conditioning) and asked for a refund. In response, we were told we couldn't leave and handed another key. The new room was warm and muggy, and the AC was caked in what appeared to be mold -- we also were unable to adjust our AC. Ultimately we left the hotel that evening in protest and got a full refund through ***********. I do not usually write reviews. I feel it was necessary to write this one.

Nice staff in hotel!

Chambre très sale, non nettoyé. Accueil déplorable car la personne de la réception n'était pas d'accord avec le prix de la chambre paye sur hôtel.com et son prix sur un autre site. Il ne voulait donc pas nous donner la clé de la chambre au départ. Très agressif nous avons faillit appeler la police. De plus la chambre est mal isolée, il était très dur de dormir, énormément de bruit et air froid qui passe. Les draps étaient non changé et chambre non nettoyé.
