Hotel Velvet

Velvet Hotel is run by a family, nice people dedicated to their work! I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the serene experience my husband and I enjoyed during our stay at your establishment from October 5th to October 7th, 2023. Our time at Velvet Hotel was marked by a sense of tranquility and understated elegance. The terrace offered a peaceful vantage point, with views of both the Mother Georgia monument and Tsminda temple. This natural beauty provided a sense of calm and reflection that left a lasting impression. The breakfast selection was a quiet pleasure, offering a thoughtfully curated array of options that catered to different tastes and preferences. Our celebration in the restaurant on the terrace, marking my husband's birthday, was a cherished moment. The quality of the meats and the carefully selected wines complemented the occasion with a subtle sophistication. We would like to extend our thanks for the unobtrusive yet attentive service provided by your team. It contributed to the overall sense of ease and comfort during our stay. Thank you for providing us with a retreat that allowed us to truly unwind and appreciate the beauty of Tbilisi. We look forward to the possibility of returning to Velvet Hotel in the future.

Stayed at the Economy Twin Room for four nights this September 2023. My booking confirmation indicated that the room “features a hot tub, a private entrance as well as garden views”. I can verify that I had none of that – no tub, no private entrance and no garden views. Instead, we got a room at the first floor with windows that do not open and a view of the street. But that’s hardly anything to complain about. To be fair, the room we got had two immaculate single beds and a clean bathroom with gold details. There’s a mini-fridge, a wardrobe and a small TV in the room. One of Velvet Hotel’s strengths is the staff. They were polite, results-focused, cheerful and attentive. The location is good – there’s a Carrefour, a bank and a sky bar nearby. Plus, Europe Square is within walking distance. The hotel also has a restaurant at the fourth floor but we never tried it. We opted out of the breakfast buffet but they offer it for 25 GEL per person. This hotel is a good option for families, couples and solo travellers. Will keep it in mind for our future stays in Tbilisi.

Room was so disappointed , NO Soundproof at all , you can hear your neighbours while they are talking , No Housekeeping to clean your room unless you request it , It doesn't deserve a 4 star honestly Breakfast was not so wow , The slim blonde Lady Staff, I think she was the hotel manager Never smile or even said Good morning. Overall , I will not try to stay in Velvet hotel again . Staff was helpful especially Liwan and Sergio, Location was very good ,Near from Europe square.

The hotel is perfectly located with the prime attraction points of Tblisi in walking distance. The staff is supportive and friendly. Limited options in Breakfast though. But if you prefer to do a walking tour of the Old City this is perfect for you.

Отель очень удобно расположен. В самом центре Старого города. По-близости метро, большой парк и множество развлечений. Чистые, комфортабельные номера, со всем необходимым набором нужных принадлежностей, начиная от гигиенических и заканчивая сейфом. Вполне приемлемые цены на номера. Вежливы персонал, хорошо говорящий на русском, готовый во всем помочь и подсказать с любыми вопросами для путешественников. При отеле имеется винный бутик, с хорошим ассортиментов грузинских вин.

Выражаем благодарность Тэу,Сергею,Левану и персоналу гостиницы. Хочется отметить, что все очень доброжелательные и вежливые, поэтому создается атмосфера хорошего отдыха и отличного настроения . Приятный дизайн, новая мебель, белоснежные пушистые полотенца. Персонал вежливый и дружелюбный. К уборке нареканий не было. Была приятно удивлена бесплатным вай-фаем с хорошей скоростью . Обязательно вернёмся в VELVET еще раз. Огромное Спасибо всем! 5++++++++++++++
