Hoteles cerca de Zhongli Railway Station, Taoyuan

Un lugar muy conveniente para alojarse antes de nuestro vuelo. El check-in era a las 15:00, pero pudimos hacerlo a las 12:00 porque había habitaciones libres, lo cual agradezco, ya que muchos otros hoteles en Taiwán no permiten hacer el check-in antes de la hora establecida. El hotel ofrece transporte gratuito al aeropuerto y, con la estación de tren al lado, es muy práctico para llegar a Taipei 101 o Ximen. Le di 4 estrellas por las comodidades porque quizás el hotel es un poco antiguo y la madera de los armarios se está descascarando. Quizás deberían considerar renovar algunos de los equipos de la habitación. En general, todo era muy agradable, especialmente la vista del aeropuerto; es muy relajante ver los aviones despegar. La insonorización también era buena; no oímos ningún ruido en todo el día.

Hotel que cumple muy bien con las expectativa. Muy recomendable si buscas Hotel cerca del aeropuerto.

Location is good. room is spacious. Only pro is you need to carry luggages and climb stairs to the room, maybe liked 3 floors high.

Super clean, spacious, & beautifully decorated in a minimalist style! Brand new building, so everything is new & modern, including plenty of electrical outlets. Shower is huge & has a door to separate it from the rest of the bathroom, unlike many in Asia. Really nice toiletries, free unlimited bottled water, &and full-size fridge/freezer in the lobby where you can store food, meds, or chill your drinking water. We stayed twice, one week apart, & the bathroom rugs were cute & different both times. Some noise from the traffic, airport, and nearby construction is audible, but easily drowned out with some white noise. No food nearby, but you can get something before you leave the airport and they sell cookie/cracker/chip type snacks in the lobby. Or, of course, use apps to get things delivered. Convenient location 2-3 subway stops from the airport (depending on terminal), then a 10-15 minute walk along a mostly flat path. A swivel carry-on size suitcase was able to wheel along on all 4 wheels except for a couple places where it got tipped onto two wheels to get up a curb or over gravel. El hotel de estilo más antiguo, grande y muy amable, y la habitación era enorme y muy cómoda. Había un ligero olor al humo, pero no muy malo. Aparentemente había un gimnasio, pero estaba en reconstrucción. El hotel está situado cerca del aeropuerto y es adecuado para viajeros de negocios como nosotros. La distribución del desayuno es tan buena, especialmente el porridge! El escritorio del hotel también es útil. Regresará aquí otra vez!

Me quedé a pasar la noche porque mi vuelo al día siguiente salía temprano por la mañana. La estación más cercana es Dayuan Station, la segunda parada de MRT desde el aeropuerto. Desde la estación, solo son 5 minutos a pie a través del estacionamiento frente a la estación y cruzando el puente sobre el río detrás del hotel (en este momento, Google Maps te dice que camines por la carretera principal, pero este es un camino largo). Hay carteles con el nombre del hotel al salir de la estación, así que si los sigues no te perderás. Al realizar el check-in, se te preguntará si necesitas un taxi desde el hotel hasta el aeropuerto, para que puedas reservar uno allí. Eran 200 dólares taiwaneses en efectivo.

Nice stay, room was huge and more than I needed. Breakfast buffet was mid, you can skip it get much better local breakfast around.

La habitación doble de lujo es amplia, limpia y agradable. Aunque el exterior del edificio pueda parecer anticuado, el interior es moderno y muy cómodo. Hay un dispensador de agua en cada planta, lo cual es muy práctico. Está cerca de un supermercado PX y de muchos restaurantes, aunque hay que caminar un poco hasta la estación de Taoyuan. Sin embargo, hay muchas paradas de autobús cerca del hotel para ir al tren de alta velocidad y a la estación de Taoyuan. El personal es muy amable y atento. Sin duda, me volveré a alojar aquí si regreso a Taoyuan. ¡Excelente relación calidad-precio y muy recomendable!

The staff were really lovely and I'm sure that had I have spoken Chinese, the things I'm about to say would've been different as I would've been able to explain them over the phone and get them rectified.  CONS: I didn't get there until almost 1 am due to a flight delay and then missing the last MTR, so by the time I did get there all I wanted was a hot bath and a quiet night's sleep. Firstly, the room had definitely had smokers in it previously. They may have done a treatment but it was still noticeable. Secondly, there was 'hair' in the bathtub from a previous occupant. So I definitely didn't use it. Thirdly, I got almost no sleep – even though the bed was really comfortable – because the smoke alarm in the room needed its battery replaced and spent all night making that very loud high-pitched sound that you cannot ignore! Now again, had I've been able to pick up the phone and ask them to come and sort it, it could have been a different story, but... PROS: the room was a great size, and the bathroom had both a spa bath and a walk-in shower. It also was very large and is well set up for customers to drive their vehicle into the ground floor of the unit then go up the stairs to the first floor where the actual room is. The staff were very nice and welcoming even though I arrived so late and even gave me some instant noodle cups. I also got a voucher for breakfast, but didn't end up getting to use it as I was too tired to get out of bed and go there before it finished.  I may not be the target clientele for this establishment, and while this particular stay had farcical elements, now that I know what it's like and how it works, I probably would stay there again simply due to how nice the staff were. It's not their fault that I don't speak Chinese.
