We stayed here for a 2 nights on a Distant Journey (DJ) tour of Japan. Arrived around 5pm by coach from Mt Fuji area. Check in was well organised but it was after 6pm before our luggage arrived in our room on 8th floor. We were meant to meet our TM and guide between 7 and 7.30 for advice on where to have dinner. Map in hand we turned right outside hotel and proceeded into town. Recommended restaurants were very difficult to find. Any we did find, including those not mentioned, were either fully reserved or full or, as time passed towards 8pm, were closing. We headed back to the hotel to find buffet option was £45 or set Japanese meal ¥8,300 (£53). Many of us went to a 711 across the road from hotel and bought ready meals, which they heated for us in microwave, beer or wine and we retreated to our rooms. The street lighting is poor so navigation from a map was difficult. Breakfast was like school dinners but passable. Bar closes at 7pm!!! If you are reading this and are on a JD tour get to town early to stand a chance of eating out. A group did find a restaurant very close by hotel before the bridge on opposite side of road to 711 but the name unrecognisable as in Japanese, photo attached.

Fuimos 4 a,este hotel tradicional japonés, en una habitación única con tatami y durmiendo en el suelo. Desayuno típico japonés y cena igual los dos días. Aprovechamos para,ir al onsen. Inmejorable ubicacion6, trato excelente y buena calidad en la comida. Muy buena experiencia. Te ofrecemos servicio de transporte gratuito a la estación tren o bus. Hay una tienda en la primera planta con productos típicos. Debes dejar los zapatos en la,entrada del hotel e ir con zapatillas dentro que te Dan ellos

A very good place and a good value but in need of updating and refurbishment. Liked · Great staff who could not do enough for you. The location is perfect. Food for dinner was delicious, but the service was very rushed and there were several miscommunications with the staff. breakfast was good but not great. Lots of amenities in the room. The lobby. The holiday decorations and the outside terrace were lovely. Super clean. The free coffee, tea, soft drinks, and raman in the lobby were a wonderful touch. Location is perfect and veiw from the room was wonderful. Disliked · Decor was very dated in the room and somewhat depressing. Toilet paper and towels were both terrible; they were cheap and awful. Such a shame for such a nice place to cut corners on a minor but important detail. Little or no storage in the room except for some hangers.

Vicinissimo alla stazione, si raggiunge in pochi minuti l'edificio, si prende la scala mobile e si sale al primo piano dove è presente la reception. Le stanze doppie sono nella media delle stanze giapponesi, quindi piccole, ma tutto sommato tranquille. Nell'hotel è presente servizio di lavanderia fai-da-te ed è possibile (anche se non ci sono andato) usufruire dell'onsen; difficoltà di comunicazione con il personale della reception. La cosa più simpatica dell'hotel resta il sarubobo gigante (ossia la bambola-amuleto tipica della cittadina) che staziona all'ingresso della reception. Consigliato per chi è di passaggio per Takayama e per chi vuole una base di partenza per la visita al caratteristico paese di Shirakawa-go.

La habitación no tiene características especiales, pero hay un sofá junto a la ventana que puede relajarse. Este sofá puede convertirse en cama, por lo que puede vivir a tres personas. Cuarto eléctrico de agua caliente, nevera aire acondicionado, lavavajillas, microondas, etc. Se recomienda vivir a largo plazo. El cuarto de baño es una pequeña unidad. Especialmente el baño es muy pequeño. Hay un cómodo casino de lavandería, así que sólo quiero lavar y luego relajarte el baño. El hotel ofrece dientes y el 1o piso tiene accesorios de lavandería gratuitos. Lavandería de lavandería, ladrillos, hojas de lavandería, sacos de lavandería, agua de cosmético, barras de lavandería, flores de lavandería, etc. El casino de lavandería también es una moda de diseño. El Hotel de País Takayama es el hotel perfecto a la izquierda de la ciudad de Takayama, Gifu Japan.Este hotel está situado justo a lo largo del Terminal de autobús de Nohi, junto a la estación de tren de Takayama. El hotel dispone de una ubicación ideal, además de una familia KONBINI (las tiendas de conveniencia japonesas) en el piso de la planta baja, abierto 24 horas. Los mercados de la mañana, el Santuario de Sakurayama Hachimangu, la calle de la antigua ciudad, el templo de Hida Kokubunji y el puente de Nakabashi son unas pocas localidades turísticas que pueden acceder fácilmente a pie (10-15 minutos) del hotel. La habitación es bastante espaciosa para mí, tiene un tipo de habitación único, pero creo que puede acomodar a 2 personas. El hotel dispone de una habitación con un vestido de dormir cómodo. El cuarto es muy limpio y huele tan bien. Considerando que he reservado incorrectamente la habitación de tipo fumador. El único lado debajo que tenía sobre la habitación era que el calefactor estaba roto. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. El personal es muy bueno, habla inglés y muy útil y acomodado. El hotel está en una zona de la ciudad de Gujo Hachiman, donde se encuentran los taxis que se reservan un día antes de su llegada y no hablan inglés en absoluto. Hasta ahora, es la única Pinoy aquí y habla Bisaya, de Davao City.

The hotel is only 1 block across the JR station with many restaurants around the area, less than 10 minutes leisure walk to the historic area. Room is very well maintained and spacious, with comfortable beddings, strong showers. The hotel is very responsive with my emails and questions, I feel that they are really trying their best to accomodate my request with occupant change that we really appreciate. Breakfast is adequate with a good selection of hot dishes, Japanese and continental. Overall a great hotel in Takayama

This was our first time at a ryokan and it’s going to set the bar really high. As another reviewer noted, Oyado Koto no Yume embodies the best of hospitality. Right upon arrival, our hosts were warm and helpful. Would also note that the lady whom I think is the owner speaks very good English if necessary. I’ve noticed that the staff will also speak basic Japanese slowly if it’s clear that you’re learning the language and are struggling to speak it but trying—I really appreciated that :) You’re asked to take your shoes off upon entry, which being Asian, I love. I think the host also wiped down the wheels of our suitcases. This little place just goes beyond and above with all the nice things they offer additionally (price inclusive) to ensure you have a lovely stay. There’s a yukata service, where they let you choose a yukata to wear inside or outside, as well as plush coats hanging in the lobby area that you can borrow if it’s cold outside. They have aromatherapy burners with a variety of scents that you can choose, just ask the front desk for an aroma pot. The room itself was pristine and immediately instilled in us a sense of calm. There are little snacks waiting on the table, a fridge that’s actually a fridge and not a minibar so can actually be used by the guest, a full set of cups and plates along with a kettle and coffee pod machine, and the host will explain that you get sleep yukatas and specific face towels as well. If you have the Japanese-style room, the staff will make up your futon while you’re out. They left a sweet note on ours and also a put a pitcher of ice water on the table. It was these little touches that made our stay really pleasant and memorable. Would also mention that if you’re there longer, or it’s raining, there’s a small manga library downstairs and it looks like you can also do origami, which will get proudly displayed in a glass cabinet. There’s also a bathhouse and you can reserve a private one for a small fee. Staying at Oyado Koto no Yume felt like being a welcome guest at home. After we checked out, we were given a set of Takayama postcards as a gift. Would highly recommend you stay here if visiting the charming town of Takayama, and experience the best of Japanese hospitality. I can’t wait to go back. ありがとうございました~

La estación JR de la montaña está cerca de la pendiente, también es muy vigilante y buscadora, bien diseñada y es muy barata en el hotel. El único problema es el aislamiento del sonido. En primer lugar, tratamos de mantener el silencio lo más posible, así que no es conveniente abrir la caja (eso es algo que necesitamos superar), y enfrentar a quienes llaman, si duermen, suelen soportarse durante toda la noche. Pero es realmente muy barato, ponderarlo.

There are a lot of ”supers” about this hotel: - Super nice design. There are a lot of hotels in Japan that are on the cheaper end of mid-range that fail in the design category, but not the Eph Takayama. - Super close to the train station. It was an easy walk with our carry-on, wheely suitcases. - Super close to old town and the various Takayama attractions. - Super breakfast and coffee/tea/cocoa station. The breakfast was more like lunch (panini, salad, and soup), but it was all freshly made and delicious. There was also a coffee/tea/cocoa machine that was available to guests from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Super convenient to have coin laundry available in the hallway. We took full advantage of this! If we ever go back to Takayma I won't bother looking for anywhere else to stay - the Eph it is!

Me decepcionaron bastante los servicios de este hotel. Cabe mencionar que es un apartamento de autoayuda en lugar de llam**** hotel para que las expectativas de los clientes no coincidan. Aquí no se proporciona ningún servicio de hotel, como cambio de toallas, servicio de limpieza de habitaciones, etc. Mi habitación es una habitación de tatami, tengo que instalar 4 camas de tatami yo solo. Cuando intenté reservar el desayuno, el personal me dijo que estaba lleno, cuando intenté reservar el aparcamiento, el personal me dio información poco clara y me hizo no reservar a mi llegada. Llegué antes para reservar el aparcamiento, el personal dijo que la reserva del aparcamiento se abrirá a las 15:00 horas. Cuando llegué a las 5 de la tarde, el aparcamiento estaba lleno. Luego pregunté si podía reservar el aparcamiento para mañana, el personal dijo que no podía reservar ahora, pregunté cuándo estaba abierto el espacio del aparcamiento para reservar y la recepcionista dijo que a las 10 a.m. Realmente confuso……. El personal no puede comunic**** en inglés, pero utilizará la traducción automática. El lado positivo es que la habitación es espaciosa, pero si buscas un hotel no lo es, mejor llámalo apartamento de autoayuda.

６ Usé cuando estaba trabajando. La recepción me explicó entusiasta la tienda recomendada para la cena (alcohólico), que es muy útil. El casino público tiene límites de tiempo, pero lo uso en la mañana. Sólo hay ３ en el baño, es un pequeño casino de jardín, pero sólo una persona cuando lo uso, así que puedo entrar fácilmente. El desayuno se convirtió en conveniente debido al sol. Lo siento, la sopa de jardín y sabor no es muy deliciosa, sino que dejó la mayoría. También es muy barato, hay muchas cafeterías y tiendas de cocina alrededor, y creo que es una casa conveniente.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and daughter in two separate rooms. The room size is certainly larger than most hotels of this category in Japan. Quite well laid out in terms of separation of areas for laundry, kitchen, toilet, bathroom + shower, and basin. An internal door closes off the bedroom from the kitchen, laundry etc. Wardrobe is quite huge. Fridge is quite big. Not a bar fridge. Useful if you planned to cook a lot during your stay. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils. Hotel requests that you wash all your dishes. Washing machine is huge too with all the bells and whistles of a smart machine. Thoughtful provisions: Dimmable ceiling lights with changeable colour from daylight to cool white and warmwhite via remote control. Daily supply of yukata and bedroom slippers. Daily supply of bottled water in the fridge. Daily supply of laundry detergent and softener. Daily supply of tea bags and coffee powder. More can be self collected at the reception. Big bottles of branded quality liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner, face and hand wash, and body lotion. Disposable shaver, comb, cotton buds, etc available for self collection in the lobby. Hanger dryers in the balcony. Toilet bowl comes with Japanese standard of features. Separate bins for combustible, plastic and discarded food. And umbrellas for loan. Suggestions for improvement: Bedside lamps will be very useful. Towel rail or hooks should be provided outside the bathroom. The one and only tiny towel rail is in the shower area and it gets wet. The black spot at the ground entrance to the lift looks like a chewing gum stucked there for a long time. I am sure it can be easily removed. The lift carpet could be better fitted. Overall: This is a small but a great serviced apartment hotel which is located right next to the bus andl train station that can transport you anywhere. It is clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful, even though they communicate mainly in Japanese.
