Counter staff has no smile and is not very helpful, other staff is friendly but in general very hard sell. Breakfast is just so so. I saw comments saying dinner is a must try item. Dinner tastes ok but is not value for money.

- poor sound proofing (can hear kids running down the rooms, people chatting outside, opening/closing of doors)
- room not super conducive for light sleepers. E.g there is gap between the pelmet and curtain so once the sun rises, the light will shine into the room, your room will not be in the complete black-out state. Can bring an eye mask to help with this!
- very basic room amenities.

YYee11Recientemente me quedé en el Portal Norte de Taipei, y la experiencia fue tan agradable como antes. The hotel is conveniently located only a 5–8 minutes walk to Beimen MRT Station, about 8–15 minutes on foot to Taipei Main Station, and within 10 minutes’ walking distance to the lively Ximending District. En la calle, frente a la oficina de correos, hay también varios autobuses que le llevan directamente a atracciones populares como Yangmingshan y Jiufen Old Street.

QQy1234Good stay for a five star hotel, cleanliness is ok, floor is a bit sticky but it’s ok with the disposable slippers provided. No toothpaste nor toothbrush provided. Location is 10mins walk to xiaonanmen station, 10mins walk to Carrefour with McDonald’s, Japanese restaurants and discount off its bakery after 7pm. It’s very far if walk to or from Ximen station. No sheltered walkway at all so can be troublesome if rain. Tried the free shuttle service to Longshan and we were the only riders in the mini bus. For amenities, only has gym at level 16 with nice view. SPA are additional charged. Breakfast buffet has live station with shrimp porridge, breads from Hanabby bakery at level 1 of hotel, braised pork rice, oden, beef shabu etc. The food selection changed for both days I went. If catching an early flight, hotel can pack breakfast box for you to takeaway but have to book one day in advance.

LLi SuanExcellent location very near to Taipei main station, with lots of eateries around our location and also 光南- a value shop for some really nice shopping, room is clean and comfortable, but abit small , but how can you complain about room space when it has practically everything you need at such affordable pricing and good location - hairdryer kettle fridge safe and comfortable bed.

UUsuario anónimoWe stayed at City Suites Main Station Taipei and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is a bit of a walk from Taipei Main Station MRT (Exit Y21 to Y1), so we recommend taking Beimen MRT instead — it’s much nearer if you walk underground from Exit Y21 to Y28.
Our first room had an aircon leaking issue, but the staff were very responsive. After we contacted them through Trip.com, they quickly arranged a room change with no fuss.
The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. There are also 7-Eleven and FamilyMart convenience stores just around the corner, which made things even more convenient.
A solid choice for a short stay in Taipei!

NNnnmmmCuando me desperté la primera noche, me dolía tanto la espalda y la cintura que parecía que se me iban a romper y se me crujían los huesos. Pregunté si podía marcharme, pero me dijeron que no, así que me fui inmediatamente. y cambió de hotel.
El refrigerador hace ruidos eléctricos y de refrigeración extremadamente fuertes. Me despierta en mitad de la noche y apago el refrigerador, pero sigue haciendo ruidos dos horas después.
La habitación es grande, pero solo hay un champú y ducha dos en uno, lo que hace que mi cabello esté súper seco y duro después del lavado.
Está demasiado lejos de la estación de MRT y tienes que caminar hasta la estación de tren para llegar allí.
También había una luz roja que no figuraba en la página de inicio y solo se anunció cuando llegamos al lugar, dejándonos completamente desprevenidos. Los siguientes dos hoteles en los que me alojé tenían luces rojas, pero ninguna tan exagerada como ésta.
