Great location. Very near to subway station and RaoHe Night Market. The cleanliness is a plus too and there are free washing machines and dryers which are very convenient to those who stayed for days.

Great location near Raohe night market and metro. Scenic view north towards River.

Clean and convenient as it is connected to the mrt, railway station (TRA) and speed train station. Hotel is located at a quiet area, though within walking distance to the famous night market. Had a pleasant stay.

Had a 2 nights stay with Amba. Great location - few foot steps away from Songshan train/ mrt station. There’s also a direct link bridge to shop malls. Complimentary breakfast provided as well!

Hotel connect to city link hotel and walk through MRT station very convenience. There is fully services for travelers need such as game room (at the lobby) laundry room , restuarant, gyms, good bed and pillows, cleanliness, safety. You can see view of Taipei 101 from the lobby too. Most of fun is you can walk to Raohe night market within 5 min. Recommend this hotel for your next visit Taipei.

Pros: Conveniently situated at Songshan station and directly connected to Citylink mall via link bridge. Breakfast is quite delicious. Room is spacious and with nice view. Cons: Room design and corridors are minimally designed with some simple furniture, unworthy of its room price. Bed is hard to sleep on.

We booked 6 rooms and stayed 3 nights. After we checked out and about to board the flight homebound one of us found out that his had left his wallet in the hotel's room. We called the hotel and although they had found the wallet, however they did not contact us immediately (so we may return to hotel before heading to the airport). Also they were not willing to return the wallet to us by courier, and require us to arrange courier to come and collect by ourselves. We then asked them to assist packing the wallet for safety (due to cash, credit cards, ID involved) but they also refused to assist. We are rather disappointed for the hotel's unhelpful behaviour and attitude, if they can contact us at first instance then it can save all of us time and costs. Hope the management can review and improve their quality.

Came for a two night stay. It’s a great location. The room I booked had a higher ceiling which was nice. The room was big which was also nice. The shower cubicle was rather tiny considering the size of the room but the soaps in there were pretty nice. Soundproofing definitely needs improvement as I could hear sounds from within the building at all times of day and night. The bed and pillow however was disappointing. The bed wasnt really nasty but just not great the pillows though were nasty…. They smelled off and were so badly worn out that after 10 mins of sleeping it gets sunken in completely. Probably just a cheap bed and pillow that is worn out. The sheets smelled as though they had not been cleaned. The corridor on the 17th floor had a strange smell from the flooring, it looked like one of those ridiculous Japanese “ new age noise reduction floor material “ that is super hard to maintain after it gets dirty. Being close to the popular raohe night market, you could walk, but safety is not guaranteed as there are many homeless people wandering the streets outside the hotel and along the way to the market. Most of them retreat to the bus shelters after 10pm and behind staircases if it rains.

The room is very spacious for 2 pax, it has a connecting sky bridge from hotel (L3) to the mall. The TRA and MrT are just below the mall. Direct connection to XiMen (MRT) & Taipei Main Stn (TRA). 5 mins walk to Raohe Night Market Amenities in the room consist of Nespresso machines, kettle, fridge, slippers (given during check in), we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay. Away from the city madness, yet conveniently connected when needed! I am sure this will be our family’s default hotel in future

This is my first time spending my vacation at Amba Taipei Songshan. I was there for 7D6N from Thu 11th Dec 2025 to Wed 17th Dec 2025. The hotel lobby was on the 17th floor of the Amba building. The front counter staff were very nice and friendly. I was given a pair of slippers with the name Amba on it as a free gift. The Medium River View King Bed room was on the highest 21st floor. The sanitary conditions in my room was good and well-maintained. Everyday the housekeeper will tidy my bed, clean the bathroom and toilet and sweep the floor. I put my passport in a safe with my own password in my room. On my 2nd day on Thu 12th Dec 2025, I had visited the 24 hours hotel gym on the 18th floor. Although it was a small gym, I think they had enough equipment like treadmill, step machine and weights to keep me fit. Amba Taipei Songshan do not hv a swimming pool becos it is considered a 4 star hotel. I don't like to swim so it is alright for me. Breakfast time was from 630am - 10am which sounds a bit weird for me becos most hotels that I had stayed overseas and local had breakfast time from 630am - 1030am, extra 30mins. Not much choices for breakfast. Two main types : (1) Chinese : stir fried noodles or rice + cabbage + red bean bao + meatball, porridge provided with pickled cucumbers (2) Western : omelette with no ingredients & fried egg, salad furnished with different ingredients like green beans, bread provided with jam & peanut butter, hard boiled eggs, salami and peppered pastrami, baked beans, hash brown and chia seeds Personally, for breakfast, I loved the salad with green beans, omelette, hard boiled eggs, salami, peppered pastrami and 1 cup of cold chia seeds + kopi O. I was very surprised to have 1 cup of cold chia seeds for my breakfast becos chia seeds is healthy and usually not found in breakfast list in hotels. I had stayed in 2010 at Grand Hyatt Taipei before and did not have chia seeds for breakfast at Grand Hyatt Taipei, a 5 star hotel. Amba Taipei Songshan has a bridge on the 3rd floor which linked to Songshan bus interchange & Songshan MRT. It was very convenient to walk over to have my lunch and dinner at the shopping mall on top of Songshan bus interchange and Songshan MRT. The temperature outside was 18 - 19 deg C. Was considered very cold to me. So I had to wear double layer tee and a thick windbreaker to keep me warm when I went out. Overall, the stay at Amba Taipei Songshan was above average.
