On 10 February 2025, I left the room at 1:00 PM and returned at 11:35 PM, only to find that the room had not been cleaned despite the "Make Up Room" sign being displayed outside the door the entire time. Nothing was done—the bed sheets were not changed, the towels were still wet, and the bathroom remained in the same state as I left it.
When I approached the front desk to report this issue, he was bluntly told that no cleaning staff were available at night. How is this his problem? This is a complete failure in basic hotel service standards.
This was my last night of the stay, and instead of being able to rest comfortably, I was left with no choice but to check out early in the morning 6am and stay at my friend’s place. This is absolutely unacceptable. Also worry there’s bug since the entire room wasn’t been cleaned.
Given the multiple service failures earlier and throughout my stay ( Total I booked 5 nights ) - including wasted time over the first two nights due to room repairs and repeated back-and-forths to check the issues.
I am unsure if there is a Tourism Board or Hotel Association in Taipei, but I will definitely be escalating my complaint and seeking compensation through the appropriate channels.
Given the unacceptable service and lack of resolution, I am determined to pursue this matter until a fair outcome is achieved. I strongly urge you to address this issue promptly.
