"Just left the Asimi Residence and wished we had booked another night, or couple of nights!! On arrival we realised we had booked the wrong day on the wrong week, however it wasn’t an issue and thankfully there was a room available for the night we were staying. Mario was extremely caring and sorted everything without an issue. The rooms are beautiful decorated, it was a pleasure to stay, small kitchenette with kettle and dishes for simple non cooking meals and with everything you need, toiletries provided, water and wine in fridge for your arrival and spotlessly clean. There’s an on site Taverna serving pizza etc and drinks. Breakfast was continental, but with everything you need and it was lovely sitting in the terrace in the morning. Mario couldn’t do enough for you and made our stay perfect, the next morning (I didn’t catch the man’s name) but he was very kind and arranged our departure. The room had a lovely balcony with sea view, it was a delight to sit and watch the yachts coming in for the night. There’s a couple of mini markets, cafe, and restaurants to enjoy while looking out over the water. Very peaceful, idillic, without the buzz of Symi Village, there’s a shuttle bus to take you too and from the Port when you arrive and depart. Very beautiful accommodation, would highly recommend 🇬🇷💙🤍"

"Our stay at the Old Markets Hotel in Symi was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We were so appreciative of the complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay feel even more special. The hotel itself is beautifully restored with incredible character, stunning views and such a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was stunning, with beautiful traditional stone architecture and an exceptionally large, incredibly comfortable bed — one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in. It really added to the luxurious and relaxing feel of the stay. What really made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was genuinely warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Daniel was especially informative and attentive, always happy to help with recommendations and providing excellent service at breakfast each morning. A special mention also has to go to the wonderful Christina whose scrambled eggs were honestly the best we have ever tasted! Breakfast each day was something we genuinely looked forward to. We also had the pleasure of meeting Andy, the owner, which added a lovely personal touch to the experience. We were especially grateful to John, who met us at the ferry at the very early arrival time of 5:45am and kindly arranged for us to access our room immediately on arrival. This level of care and hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. The only slight downsides for us personally were that the bathroom area, although stylishly designed, did lack a little privacy as it was open within the bedroom space, separated mainly by the wardrobe and sink area. We also felt the room lighting could have been improved, as some of the lights appeared not to be working, making the room quite dim at times. However, these were only minor points in what was otherwise a truly memorable stay. A beautiful and unique hotel that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Symi."

"too bad for the room that is a bit small, the bathroom has no windows, the only window that this place had was next to the wall of the bed but unfortunately we could not even open it because all the branches of the tree located outside the house entered, for the rest the services were good and nothing was missing. also from the photos we thought we had the room with the balcony that was on the floor above ours. I do not recommend it for more than a night"

"This is a lovely hotel, clean big rooms with incredible views! Very much worth the long journey via boat to get to Symi Island to stay at this hotel. Staff are pleasant. Lots of older people stay at the hotel on organised trips which makes families slightly stand out!"
