Aquí está la semana de la moda australiana, y buscaba un lugar para quedarme cómodo. No he tenido nadie que me llevara mis bolsillos a mi habitación en Australia! Ofrecí una pista y no aceptarían. La habitación era inmaculada, me sentí la primera persona que la usó. Encontré la habitación muy tranquila aunque se olvidó de la piscina. ¡No puedo calificar Adina con suficientes cantidades de agua!

Gustó · La ubicación y la amabilidad de los recepcionistas. te ayudan en todo lo posible ante cualquier problema. Nos dieron una habitación en la última planta para evitar los ruidos del pub y no nos enteramos de nada. Mucha gente joven en el hotel. Al lado de la estación central de Sydney y con ello excelente lugar para hacer excursiones a cualquier lugar cercano aunque Sydney es una ciudad que se pueda explorar perfectamente andando. El wifi funciona muy bien y el desayuno estaba muy rico. Un sandwich caliente y un cafe/te/chocolate que vienen muy bien para comenzar el día con fuerzas. No gustó · La limpieza. No nos cambiaron las toallas ninguna de las 4 noches.

Este es nuestro segundo alojamiento en el Song Hotel y eso es porque encuentro todo lo que hay aquí es tan bueno para el dinero y las habitaciones son tan cómodas. Me quedé en el hotel durante semanas 2.5 durante una de las épocas más ocupadas de Sydney. Las habitaciones se limpiaron diariamente. El personal era excepcional. El gerente de la tarea es increíble. El hotel es un hotel con una gran variedad de habitaciones. No es el lugar más glamoroso o más grande o incluso el más sofisticado, pero fue perfecto para un solo hombre como yo viajando en Australia para ver Mardi Gras y sitio. Otros amigos de mi corren a muchos problemas más allá de mis desafíos en otros hoteles de gran cadena pero este pequeño lugar me mantuvo andando y me hizo muy feliz. I’d return anytime. El estadía en Fullerton Hotel es una experiencia maravillosa. Hesitando entre el Fullerton Hotel y la Cuatro Sezonas, finalmente aquí estamos. Hands down worst nights sleep Ive ever had away from home. I arrived late from an interstate flight. The code I was given to get into the front door didn’t work. I tried half a dozen times. It was night, I was a solo small female and tbh I was starting to feel a little scared. Fortunately someone walked out of the building and let me in. The code to key collection worked and I went upstairs to my room. Now if u have heavy luggage this is not the place for you. Think European hotels with no lifts! Same same! The room itself was nice. Bathroom and toilet are not part of your room. It’s a seperate room. For everyone! Shared. That’s fine unless you get a case of bali belly! I guess this is all due to the age of the building. Renovated and lovely mind you. Problem I had is the bathroom was the door next to my bedroom and with a two inch gap under my door my room was excessively noisy with the opening and banging of all doors and especially the bathroom. That door was on constant rotation. Then I could hear the shower going. All up I think I got no more than 2-3 hours sleep. Only choice is bring ear buds or the hotel should provide them complimentary! Worst night sleep I’ve had in any hotel across the globe. Room was very clean, as were the amenities, staff seemed lovely. In daylight area felt fine. I suspect rather alternative and trendy bring a non Sydneysider myself. At the price and cleanliness I’d recommend but bring good quality ear buds!

UUsuario invitadoI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). El hotel está a 5 minutos de oficinas, Centro de Macquarie y estaciones de tren. Absolutamente perfecto para mi viaje de trabajo. Había algunos positivos. Las habitaciones están bien, completamente lo que usted esperaba de un hotel de negocios. La cama estaba cómoda, había una TV que nunca usé, espacio para colocar el equipaje y colgar sus ropas, una mesa y una silla, etc. Pero se desciende de la colina. Enumero los negativos 1 por 1: 1. Un perro tenía un olor muy fuerte que vino de él. Huele como un mal BO. Letrealmente tuve que mover el perro en el cubo porque no podía resistir el olor. No obstante, esto significaba que podía oler este olor de amargo cada vez que llegué a la habitación y salía de ella. 2. 1 de las toallas de baño que se proporcionaban tenía un gran agujero/tear en ella. 3. El mantenimiento de la casa hizo un error y no proporcionaba champú, sino 2 condicionadores. Lo suficientemente fácil, llamé a la recepción y dijeron que debía bajar a la recepción para conseguirlo yo mismo. Bien, se desciende y se le dio 1 botella de champú. Me volví arriba a duchar sólo para ver que el champú dado estaba preabierto/pre-utilizado. Terrible. Después de la ducha, me volví a hablar con otro recepcionista que era disculpa y me dio 2 botellas de champú. 4. En mi segundo día, me di cuenta de que no había entrado la custodia, así que me bajé para hablar de nuevo a la recepción y se le dijo que debido a la COVID, sólo hacen la custodia después del tercer día de su estancia que lo hizo nullo y vacío para mí. 5. El centro de fitness era adecuado, pero no llenaron las toallas y no limpiaron las toallas usadas regularmente. El tercer día, el armario estaba lleno y mi toalla anterior estaba sentado en la misma posición que yo lo había dejado. Si se preocupaban tanto por el COVID, tendrían más limpieza regular de áreas públicas como el gimnasio y el salón donde un vaso y una taza vacíos se fijaron para 3 días enteros. La falta de limpieza en las zonas públicas es inaceptable para mí en la industria de la hospitalidad ahora.

UUsuario invitado4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023)
Plus point
-Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge.
-Bed is comfortable,
-Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong)
Hotel staff, is a on and off experience.
The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name)
Now on to the exciting part...
Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert.
( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation)
We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it)
Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed
Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening.
I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it.
Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did.
By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use.
I was wrong.
Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it.
We found out when we were back in evening.
We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose.
Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did.
Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback.
From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part)
Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again?
Unlikely.

BBobbaoboEste apartotel se llama Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites, o el nombre chino es Sydney Golden Castle Oaks Suites Hotel. Debido a que es el feriado del Día Nacional de Australia, el precio es un poco más alto. En la zona central de la ciudad, es muy conveniente ir a cualquier lugar pintoresco. Puedes ir a cualquier lugar de Darling Harbour a pocos minutos a pie.
Al principio no tenía ninguna idea, pero me sorprendió después de entrar al hotel, excepto el equipo y las instalaciones de la casa, todo lo demás superó las expectativas, pero escuché de amigos que la mayoría de los apartahoteles en Australia son así, está bien. .
Ya sea que el país sea rico o voluntarioso, puedes vivir en familia y no tener que preocuparte por la comida, la bebida y la vivienda. Hay lavadoras y secadoras, lavavajillas y hornos, vajillas y muebles. Está al lado de la zona turística más importante de Sydney. Puedes visitar atracciones durante el día y cocinar y comer en el apartamento por la noche. Ir de compras por la noche, perfecto [doge][doge][doge].

Los servicios de la habitación ofrecen un servicio de limpieza de pelo, de hierro y de hierro, o de lavabos de piel, pero también se pueden solicitar otros servicios como el condicionador de pelo, el tablero de hierro y de hierro o el kit dental. La recepción cerró en las primeras horas, pero sólo usa la tarjeta de acceso. Unos pocos negativos. Mi habitación estaba situada frente a la pared cercana del edificio cerca de la puerta (por lo que no hay vista). No creo que los hoteles sepan cómo cualquier vista puede hacer una gran diferencia para algunos huéspedes para disfrutar de su estancia. Peor y perturbador para mí, aunque fue el ruido humming constante y a veces una ligera vibración causada por las bobinas de ventilación fuera de mi ventana (una muy cerca y atacado a la pared exterior). La habitación está muy bien, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no se puede encontrar en el hotel. La habitación está muy bien, pero no es muy fácil de encontrar.

JJasTalbHayI stayed at Meriton for 9 nights with my son in Oct 2022. The location is excellent, with the Townhall train station & light rail located within 2mins walk from the building. There is also a Woolworths next block. The major shopping district is within less than a minute walk / located at the next light rail station, QVB station.
One of my biggest pet peeve, are the lifts, there are 3 of them and they run from carpark levels all the way till the top floor which is probably in the 50s, we had to wait really long to take the lifts. Meriton apparently leases out their carpark lots too, hence the wait for the lifts is even longer during weekends when there’s a mix of the existing room guests, new guests checking in with their luggages as well as the people picking up their cars from the carpark. It’s just a hot mess.
Meriton should really consider segregating the lifts to serve different floors. And have the people who are picking up their cars, to use other lifts instead of main lobby lifts.
I like how the room is equipped with a Washer & dryer, was able to have clean set of clothings everyday. I couldn’t start the dryer, called for help and had to wait more than 30mins, the handyman only came after my second call.
Although I stayed at the property for 9 nights, the room-keeping was very basic , just a change of new set of towels, bed was made, disposal of rubbish and replenishment of condiments (like coffee, creamery and sugar) and bathing supplies. No vacuuming of floor or washing of the bathroom, hence the room is dusty and the bathroom especially the rubber tubings surrounding the glass door has mould too. Also, the frequency of house-keeping was inconsistent, initially was once every 3 days for first 6 days and then it became everyday.
In conclusion, it’s still an excellent place to stay because of strategic location but do manage your expectations when it’s comes to the upkeep of the rooms, the hotel lifts and level of services. By the way, when I was there, the hotel lobby was undergoing renovation, so hopefully the lift situations improve.

$12 for a large bottle of water? You’ve got to be kidding.
Anyone walking past your room? You can hear every word they say.
The taps in the shower? One turns on clockwise and the other is anticlockwise. So if you want to change the temperature half way through a shower, you need to basically turn it all off and start again.
If you have a city view, you’re looking at the Eastern Distributor freeway and the commonwealth bank building. The view is ordinary at best.
Uber Eats is difficult to order because the hotel technically doesn’t seem to exist on maps so nobody knows where it is. Then getting an Uber even at 7am it took me fifteen minutes for any driver to accept because the positioning of the hotel is weird and not at all easy to get to.
The lights are hard to use, and I just found this so surprising for a brand new hotel. Then there are USB port outlets, three in the room, but no type-C plugs?
The pool closes at 6pm lol. How ridiculous.
The pump bottles for shampoo and conditioner didn’t work in the bathroom. I had to unscrew them and wash pour out on to my hand. Counter productive and a waste.
So yeah if you want to take photos it’s pretty good but otherwise there are much better places to stay.

UUsuario invitadoA great place to stay near Light Rail, Chinatown, Central, and shopping. Our room was excellent, and we found the reception staff always welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.
