Así que si decides quedarte aquí, guarde todo tu trabajo en el pañuelo. La casa de baño es muy buena, pero no es muy buena.

Nos dieron una habitación en la última planta para evitar los ruidos del pub y no nos enteramos de nada. Mucha gente joven en el hotel. Al lado de la estación central de Sydney y con ello excelente lugar para hacer excursiones a cualquier lugar cercano aunque Sydney es una ciudad que se pueda explorar perfectamente andando. El wifi funciona muy bien y el desayuno estaba muy rico. Un sandwich caliente y un cafe/te/chocolate que vienen muy bien para comenzar el día con fuerzas. No gustó · La limpieza. No nos cambiaron las toallas ninguna de las 4 noches.

El estadía en Fullerton Hotel es una experiencia maravillosa. Hesitando entre el Fullerton Hotel y la Cuatro Sezonas, finalmente aquí estamos. Se pasó media hora en el viaje al hotel desde el aeropuerto internacional de Sydney con tren, El hotel está situado en la zona de St James Station. El minibar estaba lleno de bebidas diferentes. La cama y el sofá estaba suave y acogedor. El servicio de habitaciones estaba disponible a través de un i-pad negro en la mesa, pagado por dinero o tarjeta al salir. Everything went well. We were provided with the twin bed room as specified in our booking, with no unexpected surprises like being given a king bed, which we did not want.. Stayed for 3 nights. Amenities were of good quality. Service was not bad, was attended to immediately at the entrance by the bell boy who handed our luggages with enthusiasm. Was also allowed early checked in as our room was ready when we arrived.

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. I booked an executive floor room facing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The view is spectacular and location is perfect. Just 20minutes walk to the Sydney Opera House, 5 minutes to the circular Quay and 10 minutes walk to the George Street and shopping. On top of that there is Avis Car rental service outlook in front of the hotel. Service and food in the Executive Lounge is pretty good. The only shortcoming is that there is some low sound in the room all through the night, which I’m not sure where it came from, probably from the air conditioning system.

Hands down worst nights sleep Ive ever had away from home. I arrived late from an interstate flight. The code I was given to get into the front door didn’t work. I tried half a dozen times. It was night, I was a solo small female and tbh I was starting to feel a little scared. Fortunately someone walked out of the building and let me in. The code to key collection worked and I went upstairs to my room. Now if u have heavy luggage this is not the place for you. Think European hotels with no lifts! Same same! The room itself was nice. Bathroom and toilet are not part of your room. It’s a seperate room. For everyone! Shared. That’s fine unless you get a case of bali belly! I guess this is all due to the age of the building. Renovated and lovely mind you. Problem I had is the bathroom was the door next to my bedroom and with a two inch gap under my door my room was excessively noisy with the opening and banging of all doors and especially the bathroom. That door was on constant rotation. Then I could hear the shower going. All up I think I got no more than 2-3 hours sleep. Only choice is bring ear buds or the hotel should provide them complimentary! Worst night sleep I’ve had in any hotel across the globe. Room was very clean, as were the amenities, staff seemed lovely. In daylight area felt fine. I suspect rather alternative and trendy bring a non Sydneysider myself. At the price and cleanliness I’d recommend but bring good quality ear buds!

It was quite expensive for the service. The staff were not very welcoming but pleasant enough. The highlights are you are camping on the harbor and the view is very pretty. At sunset the very large bats come out which is quite cool to see but they are very loud with each other. Here is somethings you should know. Both eateries close at 430 pm so plan accordingly for dinner. If you get the package that includes electricity it’s only on from 6pm-6am. The waterway is very active until dark then the row teams start at 0500 it might have been earlier but their coaches are very loud and aggressive. What a way to wake up. It was nice just manage your expectations.
