Went to Sydney for work, stayed at this place. Its well equipped with everything you need. Walking distance circular quay.

Great location close to all transportation. Stay there five days and certainly will come back next time.

1 night stay, convenient location. The air-conditioning is faulty. It was switched on for the night and condensation (water) was leaking and flooded the carpet. Big wet patch. Did not sleep well to the sound of dripping water! The place is covered in dust too.

Arrived, and pool was closed for renovations. No mention of this during booking or confirmation process. Very disappointing as having a pool was a key requirement of booking a hotel in Sydney, particularly for the children.

The location is fantastic as you are just steps away from Wynyard station, and a short walk to George Street. The hotel is old, but appears to be renovated and they are doing upgrades progressively. The studio was nice and big, with plenty of room for 2 people. You have everything you need for a good stay - full kitchen, washer/dryer etc. It was also nice to have a balcony area to sit and relax. The furnishings have been updated and we felt very comfortable in our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We booked a studio apartment which was spacious and clean. The apartment had everything we needed from a kitchen, including a stove and microwave, washing machine and dryer. The room also had a balcony which was nice to oversee the city. The location is convenient to Wynyard station, circular quay and the Rocks. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They allowed us to have a later checkout at 11am.

I frequently travel to Australia for work, and this time I chose the Swissbel Hotel at 5 York, Sydney. The hotel's location is in the city center, which is very convenient for getting around. However, the furniture is quite old, including the TV, bed, sofa, etc. They need to be replaced and upgraded considering the price. The bedroom doesn't have blackout curtains, so waking up late is impossible. The soundproofing of the glass windows is poor, and there's some noise from the traffic outside. Or, it might be better to consider other hotels if possible.

Great Views and Friendly Seẻvice Stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed it! The apartment was huge with a great balcony offering stunning city views. The kitchen and laundry facilities were super convenient, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to assist. The only small issue was some noise from the street at night, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney!

first i got a terribly dirty room, but they switched it within 24 hours. new room was perfect. whole apartment with all you need. pool is ok, whirlpool, both outside. gym is not much space. location is good.

Friendly and helpful staff and in a great location! Breakfast is at a nearby hotel and is very nice with a good variety. Sydney is an expensive city so the kitchen facilities are useful so you don’t need to eat out all the time. Also very useful to have a washing machine and dryer. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The check-in and check-out process is courteous and quick. Breakfast was at a hotel nearby and the food and variety were excellent. We did not use the facilities but were told their spa was recommended. There was a clothes washing machine and detergent provided which we used. It is of 1 room apartment hotel type and as there were 3 of us the sofa in the living room was converted to a bed. Overall our stay was comfortable and we can have a restful sleep. The location is close to tram and train stations and is good for moving around Sydney CBD and its environs including the airport. It is also close to attractions like Circular Quay and The Rocks. There was ongoing renovation but it did not bother us. The place was air-conditioned, but we did not use it as the apartment's temperature was comfortable enough.
