4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed for first 4 nights whilst visiting Australia. Chose the hotel as it is in a decent location, ( 5 min walk to Circ Quay, plus easy for Rocks, Darling, central area for Hyde Park etc), reasonable cost and the fact they allowed early arrivals into your booked room - availability allowing. We arrived at 7am after a 26 hour flight - and our room (7th floor) was available - allowing us to grab a few hours kip. We didn’t realise that it overlooked Australia Square, which is lively & loud Mon - Fri.. Not a problem on the first night as we’re so tired. The following day we asked if we could be moved, not a problem, we were moved to a quieter room (14th floor) & upgraded at no additional cost. The room was lovely - as were the breakfast’s each morning. I cannot fault the quality of the hotel, cleanliness, friendliness and willingness to help by all the staff. Would I return? Most definitely. 😁

Staying in Fullerton Hotel is a wonderful experience. Hesitating between the Fullerton Hotel and the Four Season，finally here we are. Half an hour was spent on the way to the hotel from Sydney International Airport by train，which is in the vicinity of St James Station. Greeted by professional concierge and receptionist，the check in was less than 5 mins. 1 dollar was deducted from card as deposit. The room of 40 square meters was really big for two person. Mini bar was filled with different kind of drinks. Bed & sofa was soft and cozy. Room service was available via a black i-pad on the table，paid by either cash or card when checking out. Sydney Opera House & Hyde Park was nearby，together with other luxury stores. The room price was friendly during off-season，which will definitely double when the new year come. Haven’t tried the Four Season yet and can not give any comments，but Fullerton experience was truly nice and worthy.

We really liked the location, it was right next to Darling Harbour. We got a warm and friendly welcome by the intern Brent at the front desk. He was nice and told us about all the things to do around, however, we had requested a room with a view, that they didn't provide, which we didn't fuss over.
We were pleasantly surprised to see an Indian dish in the already wonderful breakfast spread, and we loved that. The chef was kind enough to proactively ask us if we enjoyed the food and if we had a special request for the breakfast the next day, which they gladly honored. The hotel also had direct access to Darling Harbour, which was very convenient as we wanted to visit it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and liked the hospitality and customer service at Hyatt, and would gladly visit again.

Todo fue bien. Fuimos provistos de la habitación doble según se especifica en nuestra reserva, sin sorpresas inesperadas como ser dado una cama real, que no queríamos.. Estaba 3 noches. Las instalaciones eran de buena calidad. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad.

The hotel was acceptable, but the view was not as advertised. We booked a room with a Darling Harbour view and paid extra for it, but nobody mentioned that there was construction happening directly in front of our balcony. If you want a room with a view, I do not recommend this hotel.

La habitación no es muy grande pero está bastante limpia.
La ubicación también es muy buena, cerca del centro de la ciudad.

UUsuario invitadoEn primer lugar, este hotel está perfectamente situado para viajeros de negocios a los Centros de negocios de Macquarie Park. El hotel está a 5 minutos de oficinas, Centro de Macquarie y estaciones de tren. Absolutamente perfecto para mi viaje de trabajo. Había algunos positivos. Las habitaciones están bien, completamente lo que usted esperaba de un hotel de negocios. La cama estaba cómoda, había una TV que nunca usé, espacio para colocar el equipaje y colgar sus ropas, una mesa y una silla, etc. Pero se desciende de la colina. Enumero los negativos 1 por 1: 1. Un perro tenía un olor muy fuerte que vino de él. Huele como un mal BO. Letrealmente tuve que mover el perro en el cubo porque no podía resistir el olor. No obstante, esto significaba que podía oler este olor de amargo cada vez que llegué a la habitación y salía de ella. 2. 1 de las toallas de baño que se proporcionaban tenía un gran agujero/tear en ella. 3. El mantenimiento de la casa hizo un error y no proporcionaba champú, sino 2 condicionadores. Lo suficientemente fácil, llamé a la recepción y dijeron que debía bajar a la recepción para conseguirlo yo mismo. Bien, se desciende y se le dio 1 botella de champú. Me volví arriba a duchar sólo para ver que el champú dado estaba preabierto/pre-utilizado. Terrible. Después de la ducha, me volví a hablar con otro recepcionista que era disculpa y me dio 2 botellas de champú. 4. En mi segundo día, me di cuenta de que no había entrado la custodia, así que me bajé para hablar de nuevo a la recepción y se le dijo que debido a la COVID, sólo hacen la custodia después del tercer día de su estancia que lo hizo nullo y vacío para mí. 5. El centro de fitness era adecuado, pero no llenaron las toallas y no limpiaron las toallas usadas regularmente. El tercer día, el armario estaba lleno y mi toalla anterior estaba sentado en la misma posición que yo lo había dejado. Si se preocupaban tanto por el COVID, tendrían más limpieza regular de áreas públicas como el gimnasio y el salón donde un vaso y una taza vacíos se fijaron para 3 días enteros. La falta de limpieza en las zonas públicas es inaceptable para mí en la industria de la hospitalidad ahora.

JJasTalbHayI stayed at Meriton for 9 nights with my son in Oct 2022. The location is excellent, with the Townhall train station & light rail located within 2mins walk from the building. There is also a Woolworths next block. The major shopping district is within less than a minute walk / located at the next light rail station, QVB station.
One of my biggest pet peeve, are the lifts, there are 3 of them and they run from carpark levels all the way till the top floor which is probably in the 50s, we had to wait really long to take the lifts. Meriton apparently leases out their carpark lots too, hence the wait for the lifts is even longer during weekends when there’s a mix of the existing room guests, new guests checking in with their luggages as well as the people picking up their cars from the carpark. It’s just a hot mess.
Meriton should really consider segregating the lifts to serve different floors. And have the people who are picking up their cars, to use other lifts instead of main lobby lifts.
I like how the room is equipped with a Washer & dryer, was able to have clean set of clothings everyday. I couldn’t start the dryer, called for help and had to wait more than 30mins, the handyman only came after my second call.
Although I stayed at the property for 9 nights, the room-keeping was very basic , just a change of new set of towels, bed was made, disposal of rubbish and replenishment of condiments (like coffee, creamery and sugar) and bathing supplies. No vacuuming of floor or washing of the bathroom, hence the room is dusty and the bathroom especially the rubber tubings surrounding the glass door has mould too. Also, the frequency of house-keeping was inconsistent, initially was once every 3 days for first 6 days and then it became everyday.
In conclusion, it’s still an excellent place to stay because of strategic location but do manage your expectations when it’s comes to the upkeep of the rooms, the hotel lifts and level of services. By the way, when I was there, the hotel lobby was undergoing renovation, so hopefully the lift situations improve.

BBobbaoboEste apartotel se llama Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites, o el nombre chino es Sydney Golden Castle Oaks Suites Hotel. Debido a que es el feriado del Día Nacional de Australia, el precio es un poco más alto. En la zona central de la ciudad, es muy conveniente ir a cualquier lugar pintoresco. Puedes ir a cualquier lugar de Darling Harbour a pocos minutos a pie.
Al principio no tenía ninguna idea, pero me sorprendió después de entrar al hotel, excepto el equipo y las instalaciones de la casa, todo lo demás superó las expectativas, pero escuché de amigos que la mayoría de los apartahoteles en Australia son así, está bien. .
Ya sea que el país sea rico o voluntarioso, puedes vivir en familia y no tener que preocuparte por la comida, la bebida y la vivienda. Hay lavadoras y secadoras, lavavajillas y hornos, vajillas y muebles. Está al lado de la zona turística más importante de Sydney. Puedes visitar atracciones durante el día y cocinar y comer en el apartamento por la noche. Ir de compras por la noche, perfecto [doge][doge][doge].

Los servicios de la habitación ofrecen un servicio de limpieza de pelo, de hierro y de hierro, o de lavabos de piel, pero también se pueden solicitar otros servicios como el condicionador de pelo, el tablero de hierro y de hierro o el kit dental. La recepción cerró en las primeras horas, pero sólo usa la tarjeta de acceso. Unos pocos negativos. Mi habitación estaba situada frente a la pared cercana del edificio cerca de la puerta (por lo que no hay vista). No creo que los hoteles sepan cómo cualquier vista puede hacer una gran diferencia para algunos huéspedes para disfrutar de su estancia. Peor y perturbador para mí, aunque fue el ruido humming constante y a veces una ligera vibración causada por las bobinas de ventilación fuera de mi ventana (una muy cerca y atacado a la pared exterior). La habitación está muy bien, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no se puede encontrar en el hotel. La habitación está muy bien, pero no es muy fácil de encontrar.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.

Of course we paid extra fee to change the room but we were very satisfied stayed at Meriton...we will book there again for next our family trip to Sydney. I booked this room in 2 different booking (on 2 platforms) as there was changes to our flight schedule. And the booking was done under my mum’s name as leading guest, other 3 person as other guests.
When arrived at the hotel for check in, the staff insisted us to present the leading guest’s credit card/bank card for deposit, don’t allowed me to use my bank card for the deposit, or else they have the right to deny our check-in even I had explained that my mum didn’t bring her bank card as we are sponsoring her expenses in Australia, which I had also showed them the check-in coupon from the platform with full payment confirmation. They DO NOT ACCEPT other guests’s bank card/ credit card for the deposit even the names are shown in the booking confirmation voucher. At that time the attending staff has no intention to help us to resolve this issue but to ask us to settle ourselves in the booking App (which at this point the modification of the guest names are not allowed anymore in the App).
After almost 20min of struggle with the platform app which we still couldn’t resolve it and after some hard time and negotiation with the staff, finally he agreed to let us check-in using my bank card to pay for the deposit.
This is the first time I encounter such rule of insisting leading guest bank card for deposit ONLY, and do not accept other guest’s bank card for deposit payment. I hope the hotel can state this rule clearly in their introduction page to avoid similar circumstances happen again.
Generally it’s a good stay with good price for the location and the amenities of this hotel. Easily accessible with tram and train. Many attractions within walking distance.

UUsuario invitadoYou’ll want to read this, its GREAT!!! My partner and I checked into the Greenacre Hotel on November 24th. After checking in, the desk clerk brought us to the entrance of the hotel building and handed us our room card keys. He then said to us “ The bathrooms are located down the hall outside of your room so don’t leave your room without your cards. You also need them to get into the building so make sure to always have your card on you. I don’t want to receive a call in the middle of the night that you’re locked out of your room”. Totally reasonable , I can understand how that could be frustrating. Many people, throughout the night, forgot their cards in their rooms. How do I know this? They body checked themselves against their door screaming “ let me in”. That wasn’t even the bad part. That I could put up with. The next day, my partner and I woke up early because we had an International Flight to catch. My partner went downstairs to load the car and then I followed about 10 minutes later. When I came outside the building, my partner shouted something at me but it was to late. The door to the building shut behind me. What my partner yelled at me was “ Don’t let the door close, the card isn’t working”. When I tried my card on the door, it just beeped and flashed red. I tried my partners card, the same thing happened. We were locked out and we had to return our rental car within the hour and catch our flight. I immediately called the desk clerk/manager. I told him what happened and his response was “ What do you want me to do, I’m in bed”……..well here’s an idea for you, GET OUT OF BED!!!!!!! I WAS FURIOUS!!! We had both of our cards and it was nowhere near checkout time!!! What kind of response is that, here’s the correct response: “ Oh my goodness, I am so sorry sir. I am currently unavailable but I will send someone there to open the door. Again I cannot apologize enough, this is totally unacceptable. Please send me an email at your earliest convenience and I will provide some kind of compensation, this is truly unacceptable. There will be someone there within the next half hour. Here’s my personal number in case he doesn’t show.” But of course that was not his response. After a bit of arguing, he let me know that someone was going to be opening up the bar downstairs within the next half hour. So, we waited. After a half hour, a gentlemen did show up and I have to give him praise. He moved with urgency and at the end of the day got us back into the building and we made our flight. I still can’t get over “ I’m in bed” , what is that! I’ve worked in the tourism industry for 5 years and this whole experience was just totally unprofessional. I’m looking forward to your response.
