"We had a very poor night of sleep at this b and b. The hard bed was very old, squeaked with every movement, and the top outside edge of the mattress was so hard and stiff, it hurt your leg to get into and out of the bed. Pillows could use a replacement as well, not just another run through the washer. There were a lot of bumble bees by the edge of the roof over our patio. We were met by the host at arrival and never saw anyone again until breakfast the next day. There was a fire pit, but it wasn't lit and no one around to light it. Breakfast was ok, but host appeared stressed out with 10 guests for breakfast. Unfortunately, we think it wasn't up to the welcoming comfort of other b and b's that we've stayed in many times before."

"Very clean and tidy, the room is spacious, the bed is big, soft and hard, all the facilities are complete and relatively new. Reasonable prices for non-weekends. It's the best place to live in the Great Smoky Mountains, much better than Gatlinburg. The only regret is that the sound insulation effect of the bathroom is not good, and the sound of flushing the toilet is very loud. But sleep is still very quiet."

"We booked a suite that was supposed to have a Jacuzzi. After checkout it wasn't listed in the details but too late to cancel. I requested our room to be upgraded and never received a response or acknowledgement and of course we got stuck without one. Couldn't figure out where the pool was or even if they had one but supposedly they should have one. Water in the bath tub constantly dripped and we couldn't get it to shut off. We reported it immediately to the front desk as soon as we entered the room but we suffered 3 days with the nonstop sound of dripping running water because they had no one who could do maintenance. Our room was positioned directly over the lobby and across from the elevator and the soundproofing was almost non-existent. We heard everything. Dogs barking, neighbors arguing, doors closing, every trip of the elevator and every movement of the lobby doors. It was hard to get any sleep. And then the TV was quite old a 20" screen stuck at the ceiling with lots of noise / static across the picture. Hubby wanted to watch the FIFA games but the pic quality was so bad you couldn't even tell where the ball was. The wifi was only accessible on one side of the room and when you had access it was only 0.41mbs. It was clean if you ignore the dog hairs on the sofa and chairs etc. Breakfast was so-so. Nothing was made fresh it was all prepackaged stuff, and it was hot only if you microwaved it. So the stay was "alright" but we feel like we were overcharged considering all of the issues above. We took a vacay last year to Hot Springs spent the same amount of money per night and that hotel was pure luxury compared to this it was so clean, uptodate, hot fresh breakfast, big tv screen, cook stove, large refrigerator, even had some dishes stocked and a dishwasher in the room. You don't go on vacay for the room but at the very least you should be comfortable enough to relax during your stay especially at the rate they charge."

El hotel es un pequeño hotel de estilo antiguo, que nos recuerda a los antiguos motelos. Nos encantaba. Las tierras estaban amargas y bien mantenidas. Había asiento y mesa pequeña fuera de cada habitación para sentarse fuera por la noche o tomar café por la mañana. La habitación era grande con una ventana enorme en la parte delantera y la parte trasera. La cama estaba firme, pero no tanto que mi espalda se me había herido o no podía dormir. Todo acerca de la habitación y el baño era viejo estilo que pensé que era agradable. Hay un café, microondas y nevera en la habitación. TV pequeña frente a un sofá de asiento y una cama real. Si estás buscando un alto fin con vanidad de granito y muebles de más, vaya a otro lugar. Si quieres un lugar limpio y tranquilo que es un poco quirky, esto es. Definitivamente quedarme aquí otra vez. Y el elefante caminó por una mañana, estuvimos allí. Si necesitas más toallas, tienes que poner las utilizadas en un saco de plástico que proporcionan y sentarte en la silla por tu puerta la noche antes de que se les desvíen la mañana siguiente. Si no va a la oficina para pedir más con toallas sucias en la mano, la dama en la oficina le recordará con la mayor facilidad el procedimiento adecuado que le dejará saber de las inconvenientes que le ha puesto, pero los cambiará después de volver a ponerlo y ponerlo. Las toallas envasadas fuera de la puerta como instruido. Sólo una palabra de advertencia. Pero el hombre era muy agradable cuando pedí un toalla extra porque mi toalla me gustaba la habitación más fría que yo quería la noche. Toalla extra? No hay problema."
