This custom built 4 bedroom log cabin is located in an extremely private setting on 150 acres of property with a large swimming pond and beautiful views of this gorgeous, unspoiled corner of Vermont. The property is off a dead end road and near hundreds of acres of conserved land so it is a true get away. If you can't travel without your hair dryer than this isn't the place for you, but if you love the great outdoors this rustic retreat is sure to please. One king bed, one queen(in the loft), a double/full (downstairs) and 2 bunks + a full in the bunk room provide ample sleeping for two families in 3 bedrooms and a loft. This home is off-grid so it is rustic, but well equipped with a gas fridge, gas stove and a solar powered electrical system with a back up generator. One bathroom with a double shower and huge tub provide a perfect solution to the sore muscles that are inevitable after a long day of mountain biking on the Kingdom Trails in East Burke, VT or summiting one of the area peaks.About pets:Pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:No Smoking. A True Getaway!

Peaceful Stay at Off-Grid Cabin
This was our second year in a row at the Rustic Cabin. It is a unique and outstanding property. You feel like you're 100 miles from civilization, but in reality, stores and restaurants are only a 20 minute ride away. Book it NOW!!!

A Truly Special Vermont Retreat
This Vermont rental wasn't just a house; it was an exceptionally special retreat from the moment we arrived. The well-appointed house itself was a dream, with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. But what truly set this property apart was the incredible pond, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop to our visit. Great stay in VT!
This place was wonderful. We had a wedding to attend at Burke mountain and this place was very close by. The property has a beautiful Mountain View and a pond. John was very responsive and helpful. We stayed an extra day. Hope to make it back at some point!

Best weekend getaway!
This is my fiancé and I 4th time renting out this cabin, we love it ! It is the perfect weekend getaway. If you’re looking to spend some quality time and just disconnect then this place is for you! I would 100% recommend.

Off the grid experience

Brothers Stay At Rustic Cabin
Our stay was so good we started talking about coming back as soon as we got there. The property is unlike any other. A true hidden gem Bob, the caretaker is in the area is lend a hand if necessary. Thank you to Host John for sharing such a breathtaking location with the rest of us
