"The hotel does not have an a/c. Temperature was not high yet sleeping with an open window brought in bugs, which was awfully disturbing. Hotel should at least have nets on windows? Some rooms have a cooling system which is better than nothing, however it’s not quiet enough, and not cold, but at least you can close the window. Pool area doesn’t open to the outside so no air and no a/c. Becomes quite warm unless you are in the pool. Gym has no a/c either. A room for approximately 500 euros doesn’t even have a kettle let alone a coffee machine quite standard today definitely in 5 star hotels. You have free parking outside but the garage costs 50 euros per night!!! Breakfast has a nice selection but vegetables were mushy. Perhaps that‘s in the area as another restaurant had same issue. I assume hotel is better for a winter stay… We did manage to enjoy somehow but it was not worth the cost. However, staff all over the hotel was extremely nice and attentive and tried to be as helpful as possible. Otherwise i would have rated the experience as terrible."

"El panorama de Štrbské Pleso es un icono arquitectónico –, por lo que merece la pena permanecer. Además, habríamos esperado algo más por un precio no exorbitante, pero no exorbitante, y el calentamiento en nuestros cuartos no podía estar regulado; nos recomendó bajar la temperatura por medio de aire. El desayuno buffet estaba en orden, pero parecía muy diluido una hora antes de que finalizara. El café de las máquinas era limitado. Además, –, a diferencia de los demás hoteles –, no se ha limpiado el acceso a la entrada principal de nieve y hielo. Las habitaciones están modernas, limpias y adecuadas, y las bebidas gratuitas en el minibar son un detalle agradable. Nuestro coche nos permitió estacionar cómodamente en el garaje. La vista del hotel a las montañas y hacia la Baja Tatra es encantadora. En pocos minutos a pie se llega al lago, a las caminatas o a la estación de tren. En los alrededores se encuentran cafés, restaurantes y pequeñas imbisses. El personal era amable, profesional y en parte hablaba alemán excelente. Resumen: Una experiencia que no queremos perder – y con las indicaciones mencionadas podemos recomendar a otros amigos de Tatra y de arquitectura marcante y voluntaria."

"If you want to go to a nature’s resort just to stay in a hotel entirely surrounded by paved roads, stay right next to a busy bus stop and parking lot, have noisy tourists passing by from sunset to sunrise and be treated by the receptionist like he is doing you a favor, this is THE perfect place to say. Otherwise do yourself a favor and steer clear from this tourist trap!"
