Bed was great! Breakfast was even better. My husband had to have her yummy French Toast every day after sampling it! Helpful to the max to make our stay pleasant. Had to drag my husband out of the river for some sight seeing with the car they provided

I spent almost one week at Southern Bluff B+B in Soldotna Alaska. I did not want to leave. John and Shirley were wonderful people !! I was treated like family rather than just a client. Shirley was gracious and accommodating to my needs. Shirley made a terrific breakfast every morning. My room and bathroom were extremely clean and neat. Very quiet and peaceful. John and Shirley were very knowledgeable of the area and willing to share their knowledge. They went out of their way to make my stay the best it could be. I have nothing negative to say ! I will be returning to Southern Bluff B+B next year. John and Shirley left a great impression on me. Thank you !!! Cristina

This is a incredible place to stay, the hospitality, cleanliness, decor, and convienance is only surpassed by the cooked to order breakfast. If you need a place to stay you won't find better. So comfortable and cozy.

We hold the honor of being the very first guests at Southern Bluff Bed & Breakfast five years ago, and every year since, Because of the great experience and hospitality we received from Shirley and John, we have returned to Alaska every year since, and stay exclusively at this wonderful bed and breakfast. We could not recommend Southern Bluff Bed & Breakfast more enthusiastically, and we look forward every July to making this trip, knowing that our accommodations will be the absolute top-notch, highest quality. While the facility is beautiful, the hospitality is unparalleled, from the exceptional breakfast to the knowledge that we will be welcome friends each visit. We highly recommend you do yourselves a favor and check out the Southern Bluff Bed & Breakfast at your earliest opportunity!.

Southern Bluff B&B was a much needed break from staying in hotels. Shirley was a wonderful hostess! She texted soon after we made the reservation and kept in communication until we arrived. Shirley offered a delicious made to order breakfast and would make accommodations for allergies if needed. It was a relaxed, homey a**osphere. The bed was comfortable, towels were soft and fluffy, and water pressure in the shower was great! The best part of the stay was when Shirley recommended a Kenai Fjord Glacier and Wildlife Cruise out of Seward. It was an amazing experience and we would not have thought to do it, much less actually booked it without Shirley's advice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our conversation with Shirley!

Our hosts were very welcoming and informative. The property was far enough from the main road that you could have morning coffee outside enjoying the grounds and serenity.
