Fabuloso hotel situado en un viñedo cerca se stelenbosh. El entorno, las habitaciones con vistas, el area del restaurante donde se hacen las catas..Excepcional.

This was a fabulous big room with a lovely pool and terrace outside the room with quite stunning views. The pictures of the room do not do it justice. The restaurant for breakfast and meals is a short walk through the vineyards and we both absolutely loved Clos Malverne

We enjoyed our stay in the lovely newish rooms set amongst the vines – the rooms was tastefully decorated, plenty of space and a good modern bathroom. The bed was firm, the bedding luxurious – a great place to stay. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an additional day – and were so grateful to Michelle for responding to our plea in the middle of the weekend. It was a great stay.

So relaxing and welcoming as always. One of our favorite places to get away from town for a couple days. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have (almost) all the amenities one can want. The lower suite of apar**ents by the field is where we like to stay. We will definitely be back soon, but will avoid the restaurant which seems to have dropped standards significantly. A small microwave in the room would be a nice improvement.

Tired, tarnished and overpriced. There are so many beautiful wine farms with quality restaurants in this area. R200 for a bottle of cheapest wine is ridiculous. In its day I'm sure this was a lavish destination but best avoided today.

Have just returned from a two night break at Clos Malverne. The room we stayed in was absolutely spotless,was beautifully furnished , very spacious and had lovely views over the vineyard. The room had a king sized bed, excellent air conditioning and had a very large en suite bathroom with a great walk in shower. We booked the Lifestyle package which included two nights bed and breakfast, lunch with wine pairing , a couples spa visit and three bottles of wine. Michelle, who organised the reservation for us , was extremely helpful and did everything possible to enhance the experience for us. The food in the restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice and lovely wine choices and the staff were truly welcoming and professional. We intend to make a return visit next month.

The wife and I booked a luxury suite this past weekend and were greeted with a stunning view. The wines are lovely and the food service is top notch. Be aware though, Stellenbosch can get very warm during summer and as such, air conditioning is a requirement. In the luxury suite we were in, the air con is very badly placed - when you walk in, you get a column of nice and cool air but the centre of the room is very warm still thus night time is very uncomfortable. Also, if you do happen to do a lunch during summer, we found out that the restaurant does not have air con (they do however have a water cooling system). During our 4 course meal, it's not ideal to be eating delicious food paired with magical wine while having sweat run down your back. When the outside temperature is 39C, air con indoors is very much welcomed.

All in all our stay was great, however! They need to update their book in the room. All outdated, including the Spa prices. They say in season their is Dinner Tues and Sat and their isn’t. One thing we took an Uber their and if you came home after hours the Uber couldn’t get back out of the property so you had to walk far back to your room and it is dark and scary plus if it rains their is no shelter. So that is the one thing which is not great at all. The gate should automatically open for cars going out but it doesn’t. All in all Staff very helpful and amazing!

A beautiful setting u will find Clos Malvern. Situated on a rise overlooking their vineyards. Great service by very friendly staff and super food. Well maintained, great a**osphere and great for all weather. A beautiful venue to take the family for an outing
