This was a treat as it’s a birthday celebration but it soon turned into a series of unfortunate events. The service and staff are amazing but their rooms have a serious bug problem. We woke up in the middle of the night to find our pillows covered with winged bugs that looked like ants, they were in the pillow and on the pillow, upon inspection there were more on the headboard and on the sofa by the window. We started to also notice dust piles on the floor in the room too, so we suspect they are eating at the wood. It was pretty alarming to find and have bugs crawling on your bed and we soon found out it was on our bags too. A staff member was quick to come to our room to inspect but the main team have already gone home. They allowed us to switch rooms but it looks like the problem is in the other room too. By the bed, more dust piles and on the sofa more bugs. It’s midnight so we sprayed the bed with bug spray and hope no more will crawl on us. As well as this their sink was blocked. We are both adventurous people, slept in the rainforest before, camped etc so we are not scared of bugs but when these could be termites or carpenter ants, our biggest worry is bringing them home. It’s not a nice situation for them either given their buildings are 200 years old. The next morning comes and the situation was not handled like a luxury hotel would. No one came to speak to us about it and no apology until I mentioned it at reception. The room they moved us to was also a smaller one so we effectively paid for a bigger room that we couldn’t stay in, this also wasn’t mentioned. There were positives like free bike usage, good cocktails, board games in lobby and a clean pool but I wouldn’t say this is a luxury hotel but more like a 3 star hotel with a 5 star mask. All in all, a birthday that wasn’t a treat.

We found exactly what we were looking for: a quiet, cozy corner where every detail is created for relaxation. The premier room was made with comfort. The bed is incredibly comfortable and soft. The cleanliness was perfect, which was monitored daily, and the snow-white linen added a sense of homely comfort. A special delight is the bathroom with an open roof — taking a shower under the stars was magical.🛁 The hotel is surrounded by greenery and bright colors, 🌸 behind which you can see the tremulous care of the staff. And right across the street, literally 30 seconds away, begins the best beach with giant sea turtles! Seeing them every day by the shore is priceless.🐢 Furry residents: Cute red cats live on the territory, which create a special atmosphere of home warmth. Be sure to feed them when you stop here! And just behind the hotel there is a local shelter for cats. If you have the opportunity, take some food there or make a small donation. It's a small thing for you, but it's a huge help for them.🐈 Special thanks to manager Sam! This man has a big heart. 💖He was incredibly attentive, helped us solve any issues, and told stories about the island and local life with such love that we got into this place even more. Видеть их каждый день у самого берега — бесценно. Пушистые жители: На территории живут милые рыжие котики, которые создают особую атмосферу домашнего тепла. Обязательно покормите их когда остановитесь здесь! А сразу за отелем находится местный приют для кошек. Если у вас будет возможность, отнесите туда немного корма или сделайте небольшой donation. The hotel offers one choice of fruit, omelette or toast for breakfast. Very small rooms with no safe. The hammocks haven’t been cleaned and some are mouldy. The bathroom is located outside, therefore if you do not like the outdoors, this hotel might not be for you.

I booked a room for three people (myself, my wife, and our child). On Trip.com, I specified three people with two separate beds. The result: they charged me an extra 300k IDR per night for the child (even though I had specified three people on Trip.com). There were no twin beds, so I had to pay an additional 500k IDR per night for an extra bed. I told them to refund my money. They spent about 15 minutes figuring out how to process the refund. They offered to charge me 600k for the child for two nights, with the extra bed free of charge. I agreed to their offer - I was just hungry and didn’t want to wait for them to process the refund. But I was left with the feeling that they’d taken advantage of me. I recommend choosing a different hotel instead, there are plenty on the island, and the prices are lower.

Hotel de aspecto moderno y fresco. Ubicado en la zona tranquila de la isla, justo en el centro de todo. A 30 minutos a pie del puerto. A 30 minutos a pie de los lugares de fiesta de la parte occidental. Se puede hacer esnórquel frente al hotel. Buen restaurante. Personal fantástico y muy servicial. Sin duda lo recomendaría.
