We love staying at Ashley Brooke! This is a small business and the owner is on the premises. He is very laid back but also takes care of business promptly. He supplies guests with all you would need to walk to the beach (one block away), including umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, towels and a cart to carry it with! He also includes a self service cooler of bottled water. The pool is larger than most hotels and gets great sunshine. Rooms are bright and well maintained, although upgrading air conditioners to split units would cut down on noise. The kitchen is totally usable for making light meals. We had breakfast in our rooms and coffee every morning and also kept our snacks and ice cream for evenings. Publix is a short car ride away for groceries if you want to go that way. You can also walk to the restaurants from the hotel. Such a great laid back vibe here- we will be back again!

Overall it was only ok. The blinds have missing parts everywhere. Due to that we changed our assigned room, you could have seen us sleeping from outside. The windows are kind of sealed so that you can’t open them. This was a huge problem in the bathroom because of the missing exhaust. The beds are great and you have a lot of space in the room. The cookware should be changed, the pot and pan have massively scratches and are of poor quality. There is no in-room housekeeping. You can go to the office and get new towels or toiletries but no in-room housekeeping during our stay of three nights. I don’t need new towels every day but after beach days the room needs a cleaning. They call themselves a hotel, so a basic cleaning service should be done. Additional 10$ for parking each day.

Due to my physical limitations and immobility, I needed the accessibility room and Arlene was most helpful assigning me the room! Mateo, Danielle & Karyl are all part of my pleasant stay. They are warmth, caring and friendly. Their Five Stars Services from the Heart could at any day, anytime, stand toe to toe with any 5 Stars Hoteliers! Great location. Super super friendly staff. All of them at the desk. Rooms need to be renovated. Smells old. But for the price you get wat you pay for

Este hotel estaba lejos del aeropuerto de Hollywood, pero cuando llamé y pedí un servicio de transporte, un conductor vino a buscarme en 20 minutos. Me dio indicaciones bastante pobres sobre dónde encontrarme con él, así que esperé y le envié mensajes de texto de vez en cuando durante otros 20 minutos antes de que me recogiera. No estaba familiarizado con el aeropuerto, así que hice lo mejor que pude con mis dos piezas de equipaje. Una vez en el hotel, había pagado por una habitación con dos camas tamaño queen, pero le dije a la recepcionista que realmente prefería una cama tamaño king. Ella me dijo que no podía cambiar la habitación porque pagué a través de un tercero. El gerente se ofreció a ayudarme con mi equipaje y luego le pregunté si podía conseguir una habitación con una cama tamaño king después de ver a varios niños pequeños y ruidosos en la habitación contigua a la mía. Fue muy amable y me colocó en una habitación tranquila con una cama tamaño king en la parte trasera del hotel. Finalmente pude dormir un poco después de un largo vuelo. Hay un restaurante en las instalaciones, pero lo único que pude pedir en la categoría de sándwich fue una hamburguesa deliciosa y gruesa que tardó más de 35 minutos en servirse. Había un comediante en la habitación de al lado que no era gracioso y solo había otras tres personas allí y nadie más en el pequeño restaurante. El servicio era lento y el humor era sureño. La habitación era espaciosa, todas las luces funcionaban y la cama era cómoda. El área de la ducha/bañera era antigua, pero tenía agua caliente rápidamente. Realmente no puedo recomendar este hotel de buena fe después de todos los inconvenientes que sufrí. Debido a todos los inconvenientes después de un largo viaje desde San Diego, realmente no puedo recomendar este hotel de buena fe.

During our trip through Florida, we had the pleasure of staying one night at the Ocean Reef Hotel, and it was truly a great experience. Upon arrival, we found the reception closed, but it wasn’t long before a very friendly lady came to assist us with check-in. She had just gone out to grab a bite to eat, which is completely understandable – everyone needs food! Once we got to our hotel room, we were pleased to find it clean, well-maintained, and above average in size. Although there were a few minor maintenance issues, what mattered most was that the beds were extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. After checking in, we went out for a meal, but upon returning, we discovered that the parking lot was nearly full, making it difficult to find a spot. Without even needing to ask, a very helpful staff member on the night shift immediately resolved the issue by assigning us a great parking space near the entrance. This thoughtful service made a huge difference. Throughout the night, this gentleman also conducted a round of checks, which gave us a great sense of security. The hotel itself was quiet, and we had a restful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities, including the toilet and shower, were also impeccably clean. In the morning, when we checked out, the same lady who helped us with check-in was there again, and once more, we were greeted with kindness and a friendly smile. This hotel is definitely a place I would return to during a Florida road trip. I highly recommend it and want to thank the staff for their excellent care. It’s absolutely a place to revisit.

Location was beautiful & the room was to my liking but I absolutely believe that my experience could’ve been better. Before booking, I called to confirm if early check-in at 6:00 a.m. was available and was told it could be accommodated for an additional fee. I booked through Trip.com based on that information. When I arrived around 6:00 a.m., the front desk agent, Keisha, was extremely unwelcoming and nonchalant. After explaining that I had called ahead, there was no compassion, no apology and no effort to help. Had I known this, I would have stayed elsewhere. It wasn’t until I started calling other hotels to accommodate me that she finally decided to check room availability. She made it up in the last but After a long flight, this was very disappointing; especially for my first stay. If you have an early flight and your reservation does not have a “early check in” note, go elsewhere! Chances are less that I will return. Service: 1/10 Rooms: 8/10 Overall experience 7/10

Cumple para pasar una noche como nos paso a nosotros por emergencia, pero si requiere más mantenimiento para que la estancia sea un poco mejor. Algo de lo que si deberían preocup**** es que se prohíba fumar en las habitaciones. Y actualizar el aire acondicionado.
