This place is truly a little corner of paradise. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is. The owners — an Englishman and a Filipina — are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided — right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition. There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day. And then there’s the food… that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how it’s done — such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching. My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didn’t have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special. That’s the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, there’s always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, you’ll have complete peace and seclusion. It truly feels like your own little paradise. If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. ¡Nos gustó mucho el hotel! Habitación limpia, excelente presión de agua caliente, delicioso restaurante en el hotel, personal hospitalario y servicial, posibilidad de reservar excursiones y traslados en recepción y entregar cosas a la lavandería.

Very loud outside since the wall is so thin 6am onwards you will hear them shouting. You can’t rest well the smell of kitchen you can smell it in your room when you open it. But you need to force go back to sleep to get some rest because the AC will turn off by 11am. 11am onwards it will be a sauna. But the room is cheap that’s a good deal.

Hice un viaje de 13 días por Palawan y Coron fue mi primera parada desde Cebú. En Coron, me alojé en el Dayon Hostel. Estuve sola durante mis tres noches en el dormitorio femenino de seis camas. Se puede optar por cerrar la puerta con llave por seguridad. Me aseguré de apagar el aire acondicionado cada vez que salía. Los baños están limpios, especialmente los inodoros, aunque las duchas necesitan una renovación, ya que algunas alcachofas no funcionan bien. También sería bueno que hicieran una limpieza a fondo de las duchas y los lavabos, ya que se veían sucios y descuidados. Hay un restaurante en la azotea, pero las opciones son limitadas. Si sales por la parte de atrás, llegarás a la calle principal donde encontrarás una cafetería estupenda que sirve buenos platos de salchicha. También hay varias opciones locales si buscas alternativas económicas. El precio que pagué valió la pena por la calidad de la estancia. El hostal es conocido por operadores turísticos y guías, así que no hubo problemas a la hora de recoger y dejar a los pasajeros. Me encantó el personal, sobre todo cuando tuve que salir temprano por la mañana para ir al puerto y hacer mi viaje a El Nido. Me organizaron el transporte y se aseguraron de que saliera del hostal a tiempo. ¿Volveré? Quizás no, y no es porque no me guste. Simplemente sentí que mi próxima estancia debería ser en una habitación privada para tener otra experiencia valiosa en Coron. Pero para quienes viajan solos con un presupuesto ajustado, Dayon Hostel es la mejor opción en Coron en cuanto a alojamiento económico se refiere.

Нам не повезло с номером, окна выходили прямо на дорогу, движение по которой почти не прекращалось, было очень очень шумно и сильный запах бензина. С закрытыми окнами все равно было слышно проезжающие машины и трициклы. Плюс еще шел ремонт, от которого тоже было шумно. В итоге возвращаться в отель совсем не хотелось. Завтрак был вкусный, в ресторане при отеле, дают скидку 25%, но только на завтрак. Перед нашим заездом в номере распылили какой то ароматизатор с резким запахом, полотенца и постельное белье тоже были с резким запахом, что вызвало у меня аллергическую реакцию на коже. Дизайн отеля интересный, из общих зон есть вид на море.

Отель приличный, чистый, к персоналу вопросов нет. На такие мелочи как нет горячей воды в душе и прочее не обращаю внимания. Хорошие завтраки, только не берите завтрак с рыбой, это сушёные килька, которую потом зажарили, не вкусно, а вот завтрак с говядиной отличный. Большой минус- это то что ночью невозможно спать из-за очень шумного кондиционера, видео прилагаю. А вот если спать без кондиционера, то очень жарко и душно, а ещё под окнами орущие кошки. The Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café. The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go. The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan. You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use. I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa. There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance. The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location. The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map. So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.

Review for Ginto Residence in El Nido – 4/5 Stars Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp. The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet. Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus. One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!
