Located in the town at the entrance to the Mingsha Dune, this guesthouse boasts an excellent location, allowing you to enjoy a nostalgic stay with the desert in the back. The rooms are charming, and both the hallways and outdoor spaces are full of whimsy. In the evenings, you can watch movies or simply enjoy the slow passage of time while chatting with friends. (There are also cute cats!) In addition to the well-stocked amenities, the restrooms and showers are spotlessly clean. Best of all, the hotel managers are wonderful people who went out of their way to provide various services with full of joy. They also serve as the best local guides. If you want to spend some leisurely time in Dunhuang and enjoy a nostalgic journey through the desert, this stay is the only choice. I definitely want to visit again and would highly recommend it to my friends. Thank you so much for everything. I look forward to seeing you again!

Esta casa de huéspedes es verdaderamente única; cada habitación lleva el nombre de una de las doce constelaciones, y el diseño combina el estilo local con elementos celestiales. El profesor mencionó que el verano es la mejor época para observar las estrellas, y para ver tu propia constelación, ¡es mejor ir dos meses antes o después del mes de la constelación! Originalmente planeábamos quedarnos dos noches, pero nos gustó tanto que ampliamos nuestra estancia una noche más. El pueblo tiene un ambiente tranquilo y acogedor. Está a unos 15 minutos en taxi del mercado nocturno de Shazhou y a unos 20 minutos de la estación de tren, lo que facilita mucho el transporte. ¡Recomendado para viajes familiares y viajes de estudio!

Awesome accommodation with amazing and welcoming hosts who are also very helpful and give good guides and tips on the region. It has a B&B style and vibe but no breakfast, although there is a fridge with some basic drinks and fruits, etc. It is a renovated house and has a very homely feel and is pretty close to the crescent lake spring with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. If you want to have an authentic local experience, I highly recommend staying here.They are also supportive and accessible via WeChat for any queries during your stay.

Nos alojamos dos noches en Dunhuang. El alojamiento está muy cerca de la entrada principal de la montaña Mingsha. El B&B está en el pueblo. Aunque el camino de acceso es un poco estrecho, el patio es espacioso. Un pequeño sendero junto al B&B lleva directamente a la entrada de la zona panorámica. Las entradas para la montaña Mingsha ahora son válidas por tres días. La anfitriona fue muy amable e incluso nos regaló un melón. También hay un peral en el patio, que es muy dulce.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Dunhuang. The location is excellent—only a short distance from the magnificent Mogao Caves, making it a perfect base for sightseeing. It is also conveniently close to both Dunhuang Airport and the railway station, which made our journey very easy and stress-free. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to enjoy delicious local cuisine at the hotel. It was a great way to experience the authentic flavours of the region without having to travel elsewhere. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and peaceful, allowing us to relax after a full day of exploring. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Dunhuang. Highly recommended!

¿Quién ha dicho, el jefe tiene un servicio de recepción, la gente es muy buena. Cuando acaba de llegar, el jefe nos pidió que comiéramos sus vides de su propia especie, especialmente delicioso, que nuestro tren de la mañana estaba durmiendo tarde, loco encontrar el siguiente que podía llegar, no es fácil encontrar un autobús, y luego el jefe nos envió, No es importante, el punto es que la casa está muy lejos de la lluvia nocturna, el teléfono móvil se olvidó en el hotel. Excellent location near the night market. Very clean. If I could, I would give 6 stars to the reception staff, who were extremely kind and helpful in organizing my stay.

The location is ideal for access to markets, shopping, eateries, and the adjacent bookstore which has a coffee shop and was one of the real treats of the city (we took pictures; it is a top-ten experience in its own right!). We took taxis to the grottos and the dunes, and it was easy to make arrangements. This is a terrific spot for runners/exercise fans, since the walkway along the river —immediately next door — is well suited for both activities. The room was very comfortable and had a mix of disposable towels and regular. The linen was pristine. There was coffee/tea and a hot pot in the room. Our view was of the traffic circle but we didn’t hear traffic except on a couple of occasions. There is a place to leave luggage if you arrive early / leave late. I’m not sure how much English was spoken at the desk but the clerks were very patient with intermediate-to-advanced Mandarin conversations. Would recommend this more than some of the other tourist hotels just for ease of eating!

I was a bit disappointed by my stay and I think for a few Yuan more or even the same price it’s possible to find nicer places. There was no soap in the bathroom and no way to close the bathroom, just a curtain. (As I travel alone, it didn’t bother me but since it was a twin room, when traveling with friends, I’m not sure if it’s comfortable). The lady told me upon check in that I should shower after 9pm because the water is warmer. She was right, when I tested at 6pm the water was very cold. After showering, the bathroom floor remained partly flooded, especially around the toilet, I always got wet feed using it, even hours after. No one greeted or smiled when I arrived or left the hotel, different to other places. Also, I never found an elevator to my room and always took the stairs but probably there was one and I just didn’t find it. The room looked worn out and I didn’t like the smell. Overall, the location was great but I was happy I only stayed for one night.
