"The hotel was comfortable and well located. The residents were friendly and like-minded (not a partisan crowd). It was quiet at breakfast and the breakfast was full and tasty. The apartment was really spacious and the air conditioning was a big plus! The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare your own food. We would have enjoyed longer in the apartment. The pool is also a big plus! The service was good, the apartments are kept clean and tidy. At the pool, you can also get food/snacks and drinks from the counter, which was located in the closed courtyard of the aparthotel."

"Great cosy and relaxing stay at Orestis Hotel. Nassos is a great host and doing everything he can to make the stay comfortable. Pano Stalos is a little village about 5 minutes away from Stalos and 10 minutes away from Platanias (by car or taxi) - you can walk down to Stalos from the hotel in about 15 minutes. Taxi to STALOS is about 8€ and taxi to the middle of Platanias (very touristy) is 13€. There is one restaurant in the village and one terverna which has great and cheap food. Very authentic. We surely come back"

"A terrible experience! The room was cramped with a single window that couldn't be opened because people were passing by. It's called beachfront, but you can't see the sea. All you can see are the water tanks on the roofs. The bathroom was tiny, with shower water flooding everything because there was no cover. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone."

Aparte de estos pequeños puntos, nos disfrutamos de nuestra estadía y agradezcamos con agrado el Theo Hotel a cualquiera que visite Creta."

"I've just returned from a wonderful holiday in Crete which was our first visit. We stayed at Girogiali and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is literally on your doorstep and the pool is fabulous. It is in a great area for restaurants and shops and we didn't want for anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned every 2 days with clean towels provided. The sunbeds are free and plentiful. While the on site bar was closed on our trip there was a lovely one just a few steps away next door so no problems. The shower was a tad small but that would be my only criticism. Thank you Girogiali for making our first trip to Crete a memorable one. Hope to see you next time."
