"Located in the highest part of Spello, beautiful location. The staff were really very courteous. The rooms, old, poorly maintained and not very clean, with very uncomfortable mattresses and the breakfast consisting mainly of sweet cakes and industrial biscuits as well as the bread and fruit juices, do not comply with the declared four stars, perhaps barely reaching three. The scrambled eggs were good but the bacon was basically a crusty sheet of fat. Among other things, there were no options for those allergic and intolerant to gluten and lactose (not even lactose-free milk). It's a shame because the location deserves it as well as the external structure but the rooms absolutely need to be modernized (at least those with the garden where we have stayed, I haven't seen the others) and improved the breakfast. With all the fantastic Umbrian products it shouldn't be difficult"

"Hemos sido invitados a Margherita y Omero (muy bonitos) por tres noches, habitación no muy moderna pero amplia y ofrece todos los confortes, incluyendo una pequeña cocina desaparecida (con anexos platos de cama y cafetera). Flores en la ojo de la habitación son las dos amplias ventanas panorámicas en el valle. Parking no muy cómodo dentro de la estructura, fácilmente accesible con coches no muy grandes vista la carretera un poco estrecho (pero es el precio que debe pagar para estar en el centro de una ciudad medieval), En cambio, los lugares más cómodos están disponibles en el exterior o a una distancia de pie sostenible. En conjunto, excelente experiencia, caliente y acogedor."

"Great little B&B very close to Spello. We used it as a base to explore Umbria for 4 nights. The property is on a main road just outside the city walls with public parking across the road. We did find a couple of times when returning due to the bank holiday or the weekend that getting a parking spot could be sometimes difficult. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom however unfortunately there was a drainage smell issue which ruined our stay a little bit. We put a towel over the shower drain which fixed it for the most part. Breakfast was great with a savoury or sweet option per person, coffee and juice etc. You won't go hungry! It was too cold for the pool in May but we used the spa after a lengthy Roman trail which was amazing. Overall a good place for the price."
