OYO Fairbridge Inn And Suites ★★

"The Fairbridge is just a recycled super eight motel. They charge a lot more than the rest of the economy hotels. We found the pool was freezing. The hot tub was filthy. The bubbles left a bathtub ring that was gray around the edges. They didn’t have towels for the swimmers. This was Labor Day weekend. I found a double charge looking at my credit card for pending charges and it’s still the weekend and it hasn’t been removed from my credit card, so I’m still waiting for that. The breakfast was good although we had to find the syrup and the milk it wasn’t  right out in front of us. The staff was good. They were attentive."

Baymont by Wyndham Spearfish ★★

"This place is sketchy....which is fine if it had a price tag to match. I thought I was going to get the quality of the Wyndham brand. Nope. My "pool view" that I paid for...well the pool and spa are permanently closed. The bed frames are made of planks of wood, wall brackets where things once hung, stains on the chairs, exposed wires hanging out of the ceiling above the bed."
