LLynnMy stay at Samawa Living was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of warmth and care from the staff. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel so safe and seen, which made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a home away from home.
I’d like to give a special thanks to Kadogo, Hashimu, Baby, Asha, and the rest of the amazing team who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their genuine kindness and attentive service stood out in every interaction.
The location of the hotel was perfect – close to the iconic Paje Beach, with convenient access via buggy, so I could enjoy the beauty of the area while still retreating to the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The boho vibes of Samawa Living were stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cosy and serene environment.
From the delicious meals to the immaculate rooms and tranquil ambience, everything about Samawa Living exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for a safe, stylish, and welcoming place to stay in the Paje area, I highly recommend it.

UUsuario invitadoThis is my second trip to Marea (previously under another name but with the same owners). I only want to talk about how much I like it if you all promise not to book in for the same weeks that I visit again. It’s quiet, which I love, but within walking distance of busier Paje. The rooms are clean, well-sized, have aircon, fans and cute balconies. Some of the rooms have just been redesigned, and I know there are more upgrades in the works. It has a wonderful Neapolitan restaurant, which is helpful because you don’t ever feel like you *need* to hunt for other food. It has a perfectly sized pool which never feels crowded, and not being in the centre of the resort, doesn’t come with lots of eyes gazing in your direction. Most of all, the staff are fantastic. They always have a smile and a kind word. Service is good and easy. It’s a great find for those looking for a boutique family run resort that also doesn’t break the bank.

JJacqueline KarikariJe suis une voyageuse solo et je cherchais un hôtel où me reposer après mes folles escales dans tout Zanzibar. Toute l’équipe de l’hôtel a été aux petits soins avec moi. Je n’ai manqué de rien. La chambre était spacieuse et magnifique avec la piscine et le petit jardin. Le domaine est très boisé ce qui fait que vous pouvez croiser des petits animaux sympathiques. Encore merci à toute l’équipe de l’hôtel The Résidence pour tout le soin apporté à mon séjour.

DDr. Deusdedith 陆翰La mejor noche de nuestra estadía de luna de miel, la mitad de la mesa de la mesa es de primera calidad, la comida siempre fue la mejor con muchas opciones, los miembros del personal salieron, gritaron a Ramson y a los demás.
Nos encantaba todo sobre eso.

OOkuhleAbsolutely loved our stay at Kwanza, my mom and I had the best time. We were greeted by Caroline who always had a smile. Lucky was so jolly and helpful with our bags. Ahamed was always ready to assist with any and everything. The rooms were spacious and clean though there was a day where housekeeping forgot to come and spray the mosquito repellent. We had the best spa day and would highly recommend the full package. The food was exceptional and plentiful, we got the all inclusive package so we had all meals served and would recommend that as the resort is located far from other places. The bar service though needs improving as they were slow because there was only one server per bar but the cocktails were great!! I had forgotten my phone at one of the bathrooms and it was returned to me before I even noticed so the place is very safe.

Виллы шикарные, просторные, все приватно расположены с садом и собственным бассейном. Соседей не видно и не слышно. Чем-то напоминает Мальдивы, только там такие номера стоят тысячи долларов.
Территория большая, ухоженная, очень чистая, по ней приятно гулять, тот, кто за ней ухаживает заслуживают золотой медали.
Охрана отеля в виде воинов Масаи , очень необычно, придаёт свою изюминку.
Панорамный открытый ресторан. Виды потрясающие.
Пляж чистый, приватный, кроме гостей отеля никого нет, песок белый и мягкий. Океан чистый. Время отливов и приливов удобное. Приливы рано утром и после обеда , когда солнце уже не агрессивно.
Возможно нет такого разнообразия в выборе блюд, но зато вкусно. На завтраки свежевыжатые соки. Пусть не так вышколен персонал, но это отражено в стоимости. И все равно большое им спасибо.
Очень понравилось и очень рекомендую.

UUsuario invitadoThe service was great. The room with sea view on the second floor was very hygienic. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not available. It would be hot in the dry season. It would be even better if there were loungers at the door! I love the two cats here. They gave birth to four babies. It's a great thing I've met here.
