The overall condition of the hotel, including the rooms, restaurants and pools, is good. The room (over 60 sqm) is spacious with a tatami and sofa sitting area as well as a small balcony facing the sea. The view at sunset is beautiful. There are not many rooms per floor so the hotel is quiet and relaxing. We had the pool to ourselves on both occasions when we swam. The private beach just opposite the hotel( 6-7 minutes walk downhill ) is also worth a visit but it closes at 6pm. The sister hotel nearby offers shuttles and tuk tuk service and they were nice to come back to the beach to pick up any hotel guests 10-15 minutes past six ( even though the schedule indicated that the last shuttle would be at 6pm. ). Breakfast had good options and definitely worth it as there isn’t any cafe nearby. For lunch or dinner, there are 10-12 restaurants within walking distance offering Okinawan cuisine and the concierge is happy to make recommendations. Parking costs ¥1000 per day and they offered a ¥1000 yen voucher if we opt for the “no daily cleaning “ option. The voucher can be used for parking or shopping in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its facilities and we loved the very large room( try to go the indoor pool and the sauna too).

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an absolute pleasure. The room facilities and amenities were top-notch, making my stay exceptionally comfortable and convenient. Beyond the rooms, the property offers wonderful service and thoughtful amenities, including both indoor and outdoor swimming pools alongside two jacuzzis. Most importantly, the staff was remarkably professional, friendly, and attentive. I couldn't be happier with my experience and highly recommend this hotel.

An excellent hotel with wonderful, responsive staff. The room had everything we needed and a balcony with a stunning view. Of all the hotels we stayed in Okinawa this one was the cleanest. There were 4 free beers in the fridge and free drinks from 3 to 10 p.m. The restaurant served excellent, delicious food. It's a sad that the beach was closed due to a typhoon and jellyfish. However, 2 pools were open, both with warm water. If I return to Okinawa, I'll definitely stay at this magnificent hotel.

We stayed in December, and despite it being winter, the atmosphere was still incredibly pleasant and charming. The main pool does not operate in winter, but honestly, it doesn’t feel like a drawback at all—there is so much more to the property than the pool. Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety. I highly recommend trying breakfast in different restaurants during your stay, as each offers a slightly different experience. Overall, Halekulani Okinawa is a refined, serene, and beautifully executed resort. A perfect choice for those who value comfort, service, and atmosphere over loud entertainment—even in the winter season.

En general, estoy muy satisfecho con este hotel. La habitación es bastante espaciosa, la bañera es muy cómoda y el estilo de decoración también es muy bonito. Hay muchos buenos restaurantes para elegir en unos minutos. La piscina cubierta y el gimnasio deben pag****, aunque no es mucho (adultos 150 yenes por día, gratis para niños en edad preescolar), pero siempre me resultó un inconveniente. La piscina al aire libre solo está abierta de abril a octubre, así que no la usé. Se ve muy bien. Otra corrección: Ctrip dice que el desayuno es gratis para niños menores de 5 años. De hecho, hay una tarifa para niños mayores de 4 años. Mi hija solo tiene 5 años y tengo que pagar 600 yenes adicionales por el desayuno. Día. Espero que Ctrip pueda escribirlo claramente para evitar problemas innecesarios.

I had higher expectations for this stay and was a bit disappointed. Firstly, the location of the resort is not great, it’s on a loud highway which makes noise an issue but also makes it extremely difficult to navigate as you can’t turn right across the large highway. We treated ourselves to the buffet one morning and wish we didn’t, there was limited selections for food and the sashimi was far from fresh. We were given a table reservation card and once sat down with our food were asked to move by the staff so another guest could have our table? Very odd and once questioned the staff changed their tune and no longer wanted to move us - seemed the other guest was getting preferential treatment. Parking was also paid which was not clear on the initial listing. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was only cleaned on one day, beds were not even made and rubbish wasn’t taken out - very strange for a 5 star. We only realised staff had been in because toilet paper had been replenished. I was very excited for this stay and was a bit let down, views are nice though!
